The Body Shop’s Christmas gifting event

Christmas is nearly here! Which means it’s time to start the strenuous journey through your local shopping centre to fight the crowds and find the perfect gift for your loved ones – or not! The Body Shop have made Christmas shopping really simple thanks to their seasonal gift options, with more than 100 gifts to choose from and prices that start from just $10 for novelty gifts and ranging up to $200 for luxurious skincare collections. There’s even the Almond Milk & Honey range, which is formulated without colourants and is dermatologically tested for those with sensitive, dry skin. So you don’t need to spend hours trawling for the perfect pressie because there really is something for everyone.

But these seasonal gifts aren’t just the perfect presents for your nearest and dearest. Thanks to The Body Shop’s partnership with International Alert, each purchase made from the seasonal gifting range will go towards providing refugee children in war-torn Syria with a safe-haven to play, where they will take part in therapeutic recreational and creative activities as part of The Body Shop’s Play for Peace Campaign. Each gift purchased will help support the project for one year in Shatila refugee camp in Beirut, Lebanon – so it’s not just a gift for your loved ones, it’s also a precious gift for those who need it most.

To celebrate the launch of The Body Shop’s Play for Peace Campaign, we threw an exclusive member event at The Body Shop’s Sydney QVB store to showcase The Body Shop’s seasonal gifting range and hear about the Play for Peace Campaign. There was a lip makeover station where members could try the new limited-edition metallic lip colours from The Body Shop and a seasonal flavours station where members were introduced to the three limited-edition Christmas flavours with demonstrations in the basin and mini hand scrubs and massages. There was also games and each member was sent home with The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Medium Gift to be reviewed for the upcoming Trial Team.
