    I think I’ve found my perfect match: good looking, slim, intellectually stimulating, knows all the best restaurants in town and does what I want when I want…yep that’s right ladies, I got myself a BlackBerry!

    Now I’m well aware there’s a war waging at the moment (and no, I’m not talking about Tiger Woods’ divorce settlement dispute), with much heated debate between BlackBerry lovers and iPhone devotees, but I’ve picked my team and can happily say I haven’t looked back.

    My fave feature would definitely have to be the BB instant messenger – who wouldn’t love the ability to chat with friends no matter where you are in the world, all for free? [Note to beauties: if you’re currently reading this wondering if I’ve quit my job as Editor in favour of a position on the BB marketing team, bear with me because there is actually a beauty-related point to my gushing!]

    You see, last night my friend in London sent me a desperate text saying, ‘omg have dare in minutes. Cant do smoly ete – wish you here do for me!!’ Which I roughly translated to, ‘oh my god, am getting picked up by a hot date in minutes and have stuffed up my smoky eye look – I need your help!!’ Luckily, we’re both BB users so we jumped on instant messenger and I tried to type her through a step-by-step guide to reapplying perfect date-worthy make-up. Turns out it worked – once she’d recreated her look she sent me a pic and, if I do say so myself, she looked gorgeous. And her man must have thought so too coz he asked her out again! Now all I need to do is get me one of those…

    If i had the choice i'd buy and love to own a blackberry but i was lucky enough to receive an iphone so am loving that :) I'm a computer techie buff so love any gadget around but finances keep me from owning them (i didn't even have an mp3 or ipod until my iphone came along) They all cost $$$ but at least when i have no computer acess i can jump online using my phone to get a quick fix of bh & try stay up to date :)

    Am on neither team. Lol. I only use my phone for calls and texts, plus photos once in a while. Oh, and as an alarm clock too. So I don't really need a BB or and iPhone for that. =D

    Gee, am behind the times here, I just need a phone to text and ring. That's all my Nokia does and it suits me just fine.

    IM SOO JEALOUS!! I've been wanted a Blackberry for months but I have no job lol which results in no Blackberry :'( My mum has an iPhone and I dont like it woo team BB all da way! Oh well, Im looking at getting a Nokia E63, E71 or E72 (way cheaper but looks and acts the same)

    Also ur funny Deb! When I read ur first line I was like ooh hello who has Deb found! Until u wrote Blackberry I laughed out loud haha :)

    I love my Sony Ericsson Z610i , its a blue flip phone with a metallic tinted mirror, so gorgeous and have been using it for ages to check up on my makeup, oil control and to take pictures :)

    Go The Blackberry .... always great when trying to look up numbers of salons for urgent manicures or blowdrys !!

    I am not concerned about either brand, as long as I can call, text, take the ocassional photo and check the weather on the web I am happy with my phone!

    hahaha glad to see there are others out there as obsessed with their phones as i am! Loving the idea of a mirror app on the mob - must find out if BB can do that too, am always having to touch up on the go!

    I have an iPhone and would say it's an okay gadget, bad reception though and pretty sensitive when you drop it- of course. Other than that it has everything I need and having wi-fi is pretty handy.

    I would love to have either. My hubby has just got himself an iPhone and keeps going on how good it is. He is making me envious. My little sony ericsson is looking a little shabby these days.

    Definately BB, I'd be so lost without my phone, life seems so hectic, I have to set myself reminders constantly... eg. hair apt at 2pm and don't forget to get legs waxed...

    I dont have either a BB or iPhone - just one of the new superfast nokias with internet and applications. I am able to read my emails and open links as soon as they land in my inbox, so if I ever need a tip on anything - including beauty - ive got it all at my fingertips! I must say i do visit BH on my nokia quite a bit!

    Ahahaha great article, had me loling. I actually have a Nokia N97, which also competes with the BB and iPhone. So... I guess I'm team Nokia!

    I always use my mobile as a mirror when applying makeup... bu that's about it hehe.

    I don't have either, just a basic nokia. I'm not a big one for technology and can't use half the fancy gadgets that are out there these days!
