Holidays are great for getting your groove on but have you stopped to think of your poor mane? Blow-drying, straightening, colouring, stress, sun…you name it, it’s bad for your hair. Poor little locks.

But don’t just slap on any old mask and be done with it, you wouldn’t take such a blasé attitude to matching your make-up to your outfit would you? No siree. Take this simple survey to find out your perfect prescription and take your hair to seventh heaven.

Simply answer A, B, C or D to the questions below, jotting them down while you go; and click on the link below where your personalised prescription awaits…

1. I would say my hair is:

A Dry (frizzy)
B Normal to oily
C Normal
D Damaged (split ends/breakage)

2. My main hair concern is:

A Slight dryness and frizz
B Oiliness / product build-up
C Daily wear and tear
D My severe split ends

3. I would love to have:

A Easy to manage hair – less fly aways and frizz
B Fresh, bouncy hair that isn’t weighed down
C Balanced, healthy hair that isn’t affected by daily wear and tear
D Strong, healthy hair that isn’t prone to breakage

4. What are you most guilty of?

A Blow drying / straightening my hair to within an inch of its life in an on-going battle against frizz
B Washing too frequently and using everything I can to fight oiliness
C Exposing my hair to sun and pollution
D Not taking good enough care of my hair and giving it the moisture and hydration that it needs

5. I’m no expert but I would say that my hair needs:

A Some moisture. Stat!
B To be stripped of the product build-up
C Some TLC from daily free radical (pollution, sun) damage
D A very, very intense conditioning treatment and about three inches off to get rid of the split ends

6. When I brush my hair…

A I try not too, it only makes the static worse
B It looks like I’ve dropped half a tub of gel on me, it’s that greasy
C I don’t, a quick finger comb when I’m in the sea is all I need
D Let’s just say there’s more than a little breakage

7. How often do you wash your hair?

A I try to do it as little as possible as I can’t face the blow-dry and straightening that comes with it
B Everyday – it’s very oily
C Every other day, I have pretty normal hair
D I don’t need to do it that often, it’s quite dry

8. An average hair day for me is:

A Washing, blow-drying and straightening
B Washing and perhaps a dry shampoo in the afternoon or putting it up if it gets too greasy. I always have to wash it again if I’m out of an evening
C Usually up in a ponytail, I’m normally too busy outdoors to even think about having it down
D I don’t really do much to be honest, just scrape it back so I don’t have to think about my split ends
