Beauty flaws be gone – page 2

Have you ever woken up and realised your usually foolproof beauty and hair regimes are more disastrous then delightful? It’s okay, there’s no need for widespread panic – you’re just having a bad beauty day.

Luckily, we’ve come up with a few helpful hints to assist you in hiding any unsuspecting beauty flaws or telltale signs of a horrible hair day as fast as you can say, ‘beauty flaws be gone.’

How to: look and feel slimmer

Sometimes, for one reason or another (usually at a certain time of the month), women can feel bloated and just a little bit puffy. We get somewhat disheartened, because all of a sudden that new figure-hugging dress we were looking forward to sporting doesn’t seem so exciting. Well ladies, you’re in luck. A super easy way to feel noticeably slimmer and a whole lot healthier is with a coat of your favourite faux glow.

What to do: whenever I’m suffering from some extra swelling, I grab my Fake Bake Original Self Tan Lotion, which comes complete with a colour guide for an even, streak-free application. The natural-looking colour makes me feel as chilled out as if I’ve just been on a holiday – and they do say everything looks better with a tan (unless you’re blessed with that rare kind of perfect porcelain skin.) If you’re not a fan of the faux glow, a body cream with shimmer may also do the trick – we love glominerals gloBody glisten for its subtle shimmer and thorough moisturisation.

Another idea: If you’re nothing short of determined to wriggle into that tight outfit, why not sculpt your bloated bod with something from the ‘Hold me Tight’ shape wear range, available exclusively at Big W. The Hold Me Tight Moulded Cup Bodyslip will make you – and your super-tight dress – a perfect pairing.
