Great protection...but thats about it :(

I'm sorry Ella Bache, i feel bad. Ive never had a bad word to say about any of your other products, but this one has disappointed unfortuantely. I got sucked into buying this as I am very concerned about sun damage of my skin (im not fair but i want to keep my skin young and healthy for as long as humanly possible), and after reading reviews in the likes of Madison, Marie Claire, Shop Til You Drop, etc i had to purchase this product due to the glowing reviews. It also won a "product of the year" award from one of the magazines, due to its level of protection and mineral properties. BUT it is horrible to wear. It is so pale and thick - think zinc effect. It doesnt spread well or rub in so you are left resembling Casper the Friendly Ghost, and has an unusual smell which i dont find pleasant. All in all i think it is more effort than it's worth. I am someone who wears little to no makeup on a daily basis, but after applying this i needed to cover myself in foundation and bronzer to cover the pastey white.
