My no-fail sunburn solution is to NEVER let it happen in the first place. Would have loved some of these products when I was younger though - lost count of the number of times I fried myself to a crisp...

Yeah, I hopt to god I don't get sunburnt this summer. I've already let it happen far too many times, but it's too hot here in Perth to spend much time in the sun unless you're at the beach or something.

I stay out of the sun as much as possible and I always use sunscreen if I do go out.
Sudo creme is okay, same with aleo vera gel for helping sooth the burn

MY kind of blog!! I'm prone to sunburn ... burning as quickly as 2-3 minutes of being in the sun!!! The Coconut and Honey Soothing Body Balm or Nivea after Sun lotion would be a PERFECT solution!!!

Im so not planning for it to happen, but you really just miss a spot or get caught out. ..and when it happens Im loving the good old fashioned aloe vera spray that we keep in the fridge for extra cooling. Also my Akin hydrating mist brings soothing and cooling relief to the face.

As I have suffered badly from extremely bad sunburn once I can recommend Paxyl Sunburn Relief Spray. It is a spray which is great because you do not have to touch your painful sunburn but the best thing about it is that it contains Lignocaine. Lignocaine is a anaesthetic so its instant pain relief. After that has started to work I would advice you to put whatever moisturiser you are going to use in the fridge for awhile. This reduces the inflamation, redness and pain with its cooling and moistursing effect.

Always wear siunscreen when outdoors and if you do get burnt, try applying some aloe vera gel.. can be very soothing on burnt skin..

Even better than Aloe Vera gel is actual Aloe Vera plant!! We have an Aloe Vera plant, and you just slice open a leaf and take the goopy aloe vera stuff, and put it on the sunburn. Also works for any sort of burnt skin/blisters.

I try not to get sunburnt anymore, but when i was younger i had a few very nasty sunburns, what was also good was a low allergen, simple moisturiser that has next to no irritants in it, to help sooth the skin and repair it after the initial burn.

The aloe vera plant though, it like halves the length of time of any sunburn ive ever had, cant reccommend it highly enough!

Never get burnt in the first place, however if you do I find that Aloe Vera is a definite winner in helping with the itch and heat of your sunburn. :)
