Frankie says it, we say it so will you just RELAX? Easier said than done? We hear you sister. That’s why we’ve trawled through heaps of calming cosmetics to find you the best of the best. Enjoy!

1. Palmolive Aromatherapy Sensual Shower Gel
The ONLY way to even attempt to make a shower as relaxing as a long, hot soak. Soft-as-a-baby’s-bottom skin is yours for the taking in a matter of minutes and the hint of jasmine, rose and orchid essential oils will leave you cool, calm and collected.
2. A'kin Aromatherapy Jasmine Body Wash
Jasmine, oh how we love thee. With your heart-warming qualities, your ability to relax the body and uplift the spirit, how did we ever wash our bodies without you? Luckily now, we don’t have to! With the finest pure essence of jasmine, this wonder-wash is just what the doctor ordered.
3. Aveda Calming Composition
A few drops of this essential oil-based composition in your bath will have your mantra balanced, skin nourished and core centred quicker than you can say Zen.
4. Crabtree and Evelyn Aromatherapy Distillations Body and Massage Oil
With an impressively scrumptious line-up of avocado, grape seed, moringa seed oil and camelina oil you simply must treat your body to a post-Christmas massage. We insist.
5. Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Anti-Stress Face Tonic
There’s nothing more pampering than a good face mask, especially one specialising in calming and relaxing stressed-out skin. Mineral-rich ingredients promote a deep sensation of calm while nourishing the body and soul. Bliss.
6. Dermalogica Stress Relief Treatment Oil
Perfect for those days when you wish you had a punching bag (a stress ball is just never enough). Dermalogica has formulated a product with essential oils to enhance muscle relaxation and stress reduction while stimulating the senses. It’s the ultimate in total stress-relief treatments so lady, step a-way from the bat.
7. AHAVA Stress Melt Butter Salt – Green Apple
Good enough to eat? Just about. This three-in-one scrub exfoliates, hydrates and defends against ageing (we know, amazing!). Once the pesky dead skin cells are gone, the scrub transforms into a light, pampering lotion that uses syringa and green apple essential oils to melt tension away. Welcome to seventh heaven.
8. Pod Puraceuticals Liquid Pedicure
Any form of pedicure is pure bliss – this we already know. But a product that exfoliates, cleanses, moisturises and nourishes feet is too hard to resist surely! This liquid pedicure promises to keep tootsies in tip-top shape by deeply purifying, killing fungus (yes, moving along swiftly) and removing calluses. The invigorating citrusy fragrance will soothe feet that have danced the night away.
9. Schwarzkopf Professional SEAH HAIRSPA Stress Relief Massage Mask
FYI. Tresses get stressed too (it’s not all about you!). This massage mask promises to condition locks with its cashmere essence and deeply regenerate hair without weighing it down.
10. Shiseido Zen
The combination of freesia, gardenia, red apple and lily of the valley make this fresh, floral, woody fragrance one of the most uplifting and balancing scents to date. The old adage is true – the nose knows.

At the moment I'm trying to shop, wrap, organise, decorate and bake (yes, I'm attempting to bake some Christmas cookies without a lot of success!!) all at the same time, so I'm loving everything on this list right now!!!
P.S. Thanks Jatz for your thoughts on the Akin Aromatherapy Jasmine Body Wash....I've put that on my growing list of must-haves!!

Spoiling yourself, particularly your skin, is relaxing in itself. I would love to try the A'kin bodywash in the bath. Nothing like a gorgeous bath and a good book to smooth out those rigid shoulder muscles.

I have tried the Pod liquid manicure and I was VERY disappointed as it made my hands very dry and flaky, the total opposite of what I was expecting.... :( Needless to say I won't be trying the liquid pedicure! I have just posted my not so glowing review of the liquid manicure, I hope it made it to the review board.
The Shizeido Zen didn't last long on my skin even though it was supposed to be a perfume, not eau de toilette. Didn't smell as fabulous as it sounds. Bear in mind that everyone's skin is different, it might work for you, just not for me.
Enough whinging, I think the AHAVA, C&E and Aveda products are what I need to calm me down and relax.

These products even look relaxing, without having tried any of them. The Pod pedicure sounds divine and I definitely have been neglecting my feet. Could be exactly what I need.

I just received a sample from Puraceuticals and seeing it here makes me more excited to try it out.
Though I just read a bad review of it...hmmm... I'll let you know how I go.

While I admit to being a serious shopaholic (and a chocoholic), the best way to relax at this time of years is to not go anywhere near the shopping centres! Some of those products sound interesting though.

Today I tested Shiseido Zen on my skin, and although it has a beautiful scent, it didn't last on my skin (Darn it!! Grrrrr)
