Does beauty feel better when there’s a good cause behind it? We think so! And since it’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, we thought there was no better time to send our Trial Teamers some Dove Pink products to road-test.
So what exactly are Dove Pink products? For the past five years, Dove has transformed some of Australia’s most loved Dove products – giving them a hint (and sometimes more!) of pink – to raise money and awareness for the breast cancer crusade, with funds being donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

On the list of products to put to the test was Dove Pink Body Wash – a gentle shower cream that leaves your skin soft, smooth and smelling like a bouquet of fresh flowers; Dove Pink Beauty Cream Bar – a refreshing face and body cleanser that enriches your skin without causing irritation or dryness; and Dove Pink Anti-Perspirant Aerosol Deodorant – a 24-hour-protecting deodorant that moisturises your skin while minimising perspiration and odour.

Dove Pink Body Wash

“…It felt amazing on the skin and I even managed to shave my legs with it on. When rinsing off, my skin felt so nice and clean but quite well moisturised. I used this product for 2 weeks while overseas in the Europe summer and I never had any dry patches on my legs so I think it must add a lot of moisture to your body as I am lazy and sometimes forget to apply moisturiser daily. Overall I think this product does the job that it states on the bottle and with proceeds going to Breast Cancer - it is a great buy.” – Missymia88

Dove Pink Beauty Cream Bar

“I love limited edition products, especially one that is for supporting the Breast Cancer Foundation to fund research. For a limited time, it appears we can get the Dove Beauty Bar (normally white), in pink!
The bar contains is essentially the same as the original Beauty Bar and contains 1/4 moisturiser. During the 10 days I trialled this, I noticed an improvement to my skin, especially my legs which are usually really dry. The soap is beautifully fragranced and leaves your skin feeling nourished.

Dove Pink Anti-Perspirant Aerosol Deodorant

“…There was instantly a burst of fresh floral fragrance. It smelt like roses and oddly enough, Dove soap. It smelt absolutely wonderful and made me feel like I was in a field full of pink roses. It felt very comfortable on my underarms, very fresh. It wasn't sticky or extremely wet like the other deodorants I have tried and that fact that it lasts for 24 hours gave me a piece of mind. I usually have to re apply during the day. The deodorant also has 1/4 moisturising cream, which is basically two products in one. Very convenient and good for your skin! It won't dry out or cause your underarms to be itchy and most of all...no white marks! I purposely wore a black top when I used this deodorant and there was not one spot of white powder/marks.” – ChocShopaholic
