We want to put goodness into our bodies through the food we eat, so the same rule applies to our skin. Organic Essence delivers the nourishing goods and is natural to boot. Which means no icky parabens or slimy sulphates for your skin to contend with.
The beautyheaven Trial Team had the task of using and reviewing three key products in the Organic Essence range. Enter the Organic Essence Purifying Cleansing Milk; which instantly dissolves daily dirt and unclogs pores, the Moisturising Soap Free Wash; a hydrating cleanser that can be used on the hands, face and body – and finally, the Age-Defying Hand Fix; that contains UVA and UVB sun protection and enough nourishing ingredients to kick dryness to the curb.
But before you make the switch to natural read what the Trial Team thought of its road-test…
Organic Essence Purifying Cleansing Milk
“I have combination/oily skin and normally use a gel cleanser, so I was a bit sceptical with this product at first, as I wondered how a milk cleanser would react to my skin.
Firstly, the milk cleanser is thick so I personally found I needed a 50 cent-sized piece to properly wash my face and neck. The cleanser didn’t strip my skin, or make it red, or itch, and even better, IT DIDN’T MAKE MY SKIN BREAK OUT! That was just wonderful for me! The cleanser is superb; it cleans all the dirt and grime off my face, leaving that clean feeling, you know, really fresh and very soft! My skin felt so silky, I’m eager to try the moisturiser now!” Rating: 5/5 – Yvette Rose

Organic Essence Moisturising Soap Free Wash
“The texture of this wash is light and milky however it is thicker than some cream cleaners. The product had a lovely light smell that was not over powering. Usually I would use a shower gel or a product that foams and lathers up however I found this to be a great alternative. I loved the feeling of my skin after using this product - my skin felt smooth but not at all oily. I always have itchy legs from shaving and although I needed a lot of product in order to shave my legs it left them less sensitive than usual. It was great to use a product that was good for me and for the environment. The only thing I didn't like was the packaging is similar to the cleansing milk for your face and I mixed them up a few times when I was in a rush.” Rating: 4/5 – itserenity

Organic Essence Age-Defying Hand Fix
“I give this organic hand cream a big thumbs up, it absorbs instantly which is important as nobody appreciates greasy hands, plus it doesn’t contain any nasty chemicals, crude derivatives or colour and has a nice subtle scent. The biggest bonus of all is that it contains a sunscreen and retinol to counteract the ageing process.
The tube is handy and can be thrown in your handbag or gym bag but I have to say that a flip top lid would have made it easier to dispense.
All in all, a fabulous hand cream at a reasonable price of only $15.95 for 75ml.” Rating: 5/5 – Beautylicious

After reading the reviews I stumbled across the Organic Essence range in Oze Pharmacy and I went and bought the hand cream and cleansing milk . I must say I was impressed!
It left the skin soft and moisturised and absorbed instantly with a great smell. Also read that it helped the environment with its partnership with the FNPW.... so felt great to be helping!

That milky cleanser does sound good! I like using a nice gentle one for summer (but it also has to be able to rid my skin of the daily thick slatherings of sunblock too!). I think this one sounds like a good one to try for that heavy sunblock season!
