Dove Beauty Bar and Revitalising Body Lotion Trial Team

We all know that beauty comes from within, but isn’t it great when it shows on the outside as well?
Our skin is the biggest organ we have (not to mention the most visible!), so doesn’t it make sense to ensure it looks as beautiful and radiant as possible?
Well, that’s where Dove comes in, with its extensive range of nourishing body products that work to promote healthy and hydrated skin that looks and feels both silky and youthful.
The Trial Team was asked to road-test the much loved Dove Beauty Cream Bar and the new Dove Visible Beauty Revitalising Beauty Body Lotion, and since both are formulated to nourish your body and help it retain its natural moisture, we’re thinking there’ll probably be some pretty smooth results…
But don’t take our word for it, check out what the Trial Team thought of their road-test…
Dove Beauty Cream Bar
“Thanks to BH for letting me trial this! I have used this soap bar before and I will always continue to use it in the future! When taking this soap bar out of the box you can instantly smell the amazing smell it comes with and the soap bar even feels so smooth against your skin when dry. It has a little dove printed on top of the bar and is shaped to make gripping it easy in the slippery shower! The soap lathers very, very well and it left my skin so soft and smooth and smelling absolutely wonderful! The smell lingers for ages and ages and I felt like I was in a baby's room because I love the smell of baby powder! This bar is super duper moisturising and very gentle. It's also really affordable so it's definitely a must have in everyone's bathroom!” Rating: 5/5 – ChocShopaholic

Dove Visible Beauty Revitalising Beauty Body Lotion
“Big thanks to beautyheaven for sending me such a great lotion.
It comes in a convenient 250ml tube that's slim enough to clutch in the palm of your hand. When you flip open the cap the juicy notes of lemon and raspberry waft into the air. The scent of the lotion is the best I have ever smelt, sweet and refreshing but not too overpowering; perfect for everyday wear.
Hydration wise, it does an amazing job. It has a very smooth semi thick consistency but once rubbed in, it immediately sinks deep beneath skin. It has a break through multi layer complex to penetrate the deepest layers of my dried legs. I simply apply after a shower and after 3 days, my legs were smooth and polished.
Overall, Dove's Visible Beauty Revitalising lotion is one of those super affordable but hydrating intense moisturisers. Its semi-thick lotion is formulated with a multi layer complex to penetrate the deepest layers of skin and deliver maximum hydration. Just after a few applications, I was walking around in the smoothest, most polished pair of legs I’ve ever had. Best of all, the lotion's juicy scent of lemons and raspberries along with it's hydrating properties makes me smell good and look good too!” Rating: 5/5 – xCherrybliss

I do actually use the Dove shower gel (or should I say cream) it is a lot thicker than any other gel that I have used and does keep your skin more moisturised, especially when you are as slack as me and dont actually moisturise.

Wow!! I must say I'm not a soap user,I'm more of a shower gel person but I actually did use this after reading the reviews and I am impressed!! It wasn't like all the other soaps that I've used where they leave my skin all dry and tight....it actually does what it says and left my skin moisturizer and soft!! Love it thanx guys

These reviews sound good, but I won't be using soap on my face in a hurry - I'm in love with my new Korres cream cleanser!

Dove is a great affordable brand. To keep your body smooth in the winter months, I think moisturising is key.

I always buy dove body soap, I find it less drying than some of the other soaps on the market, and the fragrance is really subtle.
