Lose centimetres off your waist and thighs in just an hour. Yes, really. I’ve always been intrigued to see if those centimetre-reducing body wraps actually work but never quite got my belly to one – until now.

What: SlimWaist Extra
Where: www.slimwaist.com.au
Spend: $149.95
Treatment time: 1 hour
The experience
SlimWaist Extra Program is a DIY kit to use in your own home, but I was lucky enough to get a professional to do the work for me – perks of the job! It claims a guaranteed 1cm-3cm loss in the circumference of your stomach after the first use. Sounds like magic if you ask me.
After a quick pre-measure the first step was to massage a few drops of SlimWaist Extra Essential Oil Complex into my stomach for a few minutes. Its blend of peppermint, lemon, juniper, rosemary and Indian cinnamon essential oils apparently promotes circulation and helps strengthen your muscles, which I am definitely lacking in. Next up a small amount of SlimWaist Gel is applied. This works to remove those dreaded fat reserves (yuk) and improve skin elasticity (yay). The Hypoallergenic SlimWaist Film (which resembles gladwrap) was wrapped around my waist a few times followed by the SlimWaist Waist-Band. With my belly firmly cocooned, I’m thinking, will this really work?
But fifty minutes later I’m looking at the tape measure. Measure me again, that can’t be right. But it was – I’d lost a whopping 3.3cms! Slap the SlimWaist Orange Texture Skin Gel on my thighs, pronto. Yes, the kit even tackles cellulite.
I hop, skip, and jump back to work armed with my own SlimWaist Program, which will be my first beauty necessity when I want to slip into a slinky little black dress. And for just $149.95 for the set, which you can use up to 20 times, I’d call it a slim-busting bargain in a box.

Wow that is pretty interesting! I have never heard of anything like this to lose a couple of cms, but i do wonder how long it lasts? It is cheap though, especially when you want to slip into one of your old dresses.

This sounds great, although I'm always a little skeptical of things that promise the "too good to be true" things like cm loss without diet or exercise. I'll be keen to read on for your results after using the DIY kit Caroline!

This sounds like it could be an April Fools joke but it isn't April 1st so it has to be true!! Wow. I love keeping fit and healthy and toned - firstly for my heart health and also then for all the other great side effects like the clear healthy skin and toned legs, arms, tummy etc. This product would be fantastic to use to make me feel 'perfected' and treated after all my hard work and commitment. What an top product!!!!!!! Excellent invention and very exciting.

Sounds like a magical treatment, but I always hear the experts say 'If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!' For all our sakes, I hope they're wrong and that this product works as well for me as it did for you Caroline :>

I can't believe that total amount lost and I wonder how long the effect last for $150 it out of my price range but l like the idea that you don't have to buy 10 session for it
I like to hear how long it last for and if using it several time do you lose more

This is interesting and I think a lot of people will utilise this program. I know it's a quick fix but I think the best way to lose weight is to lead a healthier lifestyle.

I agree that if you're that paranoid about your waist you should lead a healthier lifestyle. Turn that money to a gym membership or 3 decent grocery shops instead!

If the cm's stay away then i'm liking the sounds of this! Most of these products work by reducing water retention therefore showing a weight or measurement loss, If this really works by firming skin, muscles etc... That is amazing! The fact it could be used up to 20 times is a bonus, that makes each application only $7.50 money that wouldn't be Waist-ed!

We all like the sound of it, as goddessmagick indicated at $7.50 an application is good value! Am keen to hear more at a later date confirming a 3 month usage and the affects of maintaing the weight loss!
