Newsflash: your specs could ruin sex.

I know you love a survey, and I bet you know by now that I love one too. So I thought it only appropriate to share some research with you, fresh from Perfect Vision Laser Correction.
Interestingly, research has shown that spec-wearers are constantly removing their frames before first dates, kissing, and sex to ensure they don’t hinder their chances.
A whopping 61 per cent of glasses-wearers claim that one notices a person’s glasses before they notice their eyes, which kind of ruins any potential for loving gazes into the window of a person’s soul wouldn’t you say?
Perhaps this is the very reason that over half of the people (55 per cent) sporting specs would never wear their glasses when puckering up.
To coincide with this, 79 per cent of Australians believe that a person’s eyes are the most attractive feature on their face – so does that mean glasses-wearers are automatically on the back foot when it comes to attracting the opposite sex?
If you believe this is the case, you could talk to your optometrist about the possibility of laser correction, or perhaps seek other alternatives (such as contact lenses) to stay lucky in lurve.

Do you think glasses hinder your chances of being lucky in love?

i dont think it should matter whether you have glasses or not, but i can understand why people would feel uncomfortable wearing them while on dates etc!

I dont wear glasses yet, but my partner does and I think he is very sexy. Actually I think it is one of the things that made him physically attractive to me. I think their is an aura of mystery in people who wear glasses, they look intelligent and in the case of my partner, when his glasses are of it is usually when he is about to go to bed or when we are having loads of fun(get what I mean). So I think glasses do not hinder love, it comes down to the esteem of the wearer and weather they want to wear glasses or opt for the alternatives.

My boyfriend thinks my glasses are sexy (even though they are only readling glasses). My brother and his wife both wear really funky glasses which shine out their fun personalities. I think you can use glasses to your advantage too.
They aren't a hinder, i think they are surveying the wrong part of the population. Plus glasses have become more fashionable. It's almost now that if you don't wear them, you don't have the latest accessory.

I wear Glasses for reading only, i don't think it should matter if you wear glasses, it;s what's inside that matters.

No no no! Laser surgery isnt even perfect yet and ay cause blindness. Glasses aint that bad and I know I look better with glasses than without. Plus I'm practicallly blind without them.

I wear reading glasses and would love to wear them all the time except I'd fall over myself. I've even wore them to job interviews to look smarter and they worked!
Yeah, they get in the way kissing but if you really like someone and they like you not even glasses should be an obstacle.

The survey was done by a laser clinic- of course the study design will be biased! Take it with a pinch of salt girls

G wears glasses and I think he's totally hot in them! I don't notice them anymore while we're kissing, but they do come off at other times ;).... I think they make no difference!

I agree, Katshepsutt - "Real love is blind to glasses"! Yet, I do believe that people's eyes are the most attractive feature on their face, I just look at them through the glasses for those that happen to wear them (which include my Mum, sister and best friend)! : )

Gee Wizz, I think people who have to wear glasses are just as gorgeous as people who don't, it doesn't matter to me at all, there are some really fashionables frames these days, sometimes I wish I had to wear them, lol.

That has to be the most ridiculous study ever and completely biased seeing it came from a laser clinic.

If you show confidence whether wearing glasses or not people will respond. If your glasses bother you then this will come across to others. From a happy and proud glasses wearer.

Is this article for real?
I happen to not wear glasses (except sunnies) but actually think the glasses can make a person look sexy and sophisticated if you find a frame that matches the face shape.
I would not think that it will make a difference on your prospects of love whether you use glasses or not. From a convenience point of view, I would imagine contacts to be the better option than laser surgery that could have serious side effects and does not work for everyone.

I personally hate having to wear glasses and stick with contacts 90% off the time, this is mostly because of the limited vision range and the annoyance of having something in your face and the fact that you can't wear sunnies!! But some people definitely look great with glasses and your love prospects shouldn't be changed because of this one factor. I do take off my glasses for close encounters though because, put simply, the get in the way
Can't wait to get laser surgery when I have the money, but I am definitely weary about it and will be doing much research before I get anywhere close to hopping onto that hospital bed
