Dermalogica Soothing Shave Cream is a calming, anti-inflammatory shave cream which conditions the skin, reducing irritation and redness associated with shaving. It also eliminates acne-causing bacteria without drying the skin. Containing skin-smoothing vitamin E, sambucus (elder tree) and achillea (yarrow) extract, it reinforces the skins natural protective barrier and fights off skin-ageing free radicals. It suits all skin types, particularly dry and sensitive skin.
To use, apply liberally to clean, damp skin.

glosscars b-in-b 2011

I just can't get used to the consistency of this product. I find it hard to manouver on my skin and then I find it hard to get out of my razor! It seems to clog the blades up and is then difficult to rinse out. I don't find that I get a closer shave with it either, so it's a thumbs down from me.

Use this for the closest shave ever!

I got a free sample of this although it's for mens. I think it's a bit inconvenient for men though because it's kind of troublesome to use the pre-shave guard AND THEN the soothing shave cream. I wish they could just combine these two products together. But it DID give me a much closer shave than using other shaving products. It left my skin squeaky clean too!

best shaving cream

This is a wonderful shaving cream for men. It is not an insubstantial foam, nor is it a suffocating gel that transforms into a foam. It is a lovely soothing and smoothing cream, that manages to lather up so a little goes a long way. Has a soothing and refreshing cooling effect, and ensures a close shave everytime, Leaves skin soft, smooth and lightly moisturised.

His N Her Shave cream

I initially gave this to my hubby to use to shave his face but have been using it myself to shave my legs. Hubby says that this product is good on his stubble and doesn't irritate his sensitive skin. This product has been fantastic to use on my legs. It's lovely and creamy. The packaging is very generous and only a little bit is required and it provides a nice rich lather when added with warm water. I also love the herbal smell which isn't masculine or feminine so it's great to use by either men or women. I'd definately consider buying this as a his and hers product in the future. Highly recommend.:)

Dermalogica Soothing Shave Cream

After receiving this product from the Glosscars pack, i sent this to my boyfriend and he said that it feels very soothing and smooth on his skin afterwards. That this product is easy to apply and does not make any mess around the bathroom and has a nice pleasant scent. The only downside to this shaving cream is that he always has to wash off the excess on his razor which he says is a pain in the butt. 4/5

My husband loves this product

I wasn't sure if he would use the product but i'm glad I purchased it for him as it has become a huge hit with him. Tends to leave his skin alot less drier than other products.
great that a range has been produced for men that is of a higher quality than supermarket products.

Mixed reactions

This is from my man who recieved this in Glosscars prize pack:
Smells: like Decorub
Feels: Like toothpaste
Tastes: Not good (lol)

Overall though it does leave face feeling alot better after shaving, it is odd not using a foam from a can, but it is a product that works alot better then others I have tried. Skin is definatly less irritated, and more moisturised after shaving. Still allows a very close shave with ease.
Thank you for the prize and the chance to try this as normally it wouldnt be something I would buy, but now if I see it I will probably get some more. :)

snogable man

since my hubby started using this one, he's much nicer to snog and snuggle with. No more ingrown hairs and shaving irritation

not just males!

i know it says it's a male range... but who said we can't use this?? i always get irritated after shaving, i thought it was the razor, but the product you use to shave also is the issue- this left my skin feeling freshly shaved & without irritation

Saving Grace

I would avoid Shaving as much as I possibly could because I would always get pimples and red bumps after shaving. This shaving cream has absolutely saved my face, I can shave before an event without worrying about bumps and breakouts and it allows my razor to glide much smoother over my stubble without dragging.
