Treatment to try: Panpuri Mali Moonlight Massage

Want an ultra-pampering spa treatment that uses nothing but organic and natural products? Top-notch luxury and all-things natural don’t often go hand-in-hand – but that was before Panpuri Organic Spa recently opened its doors.

Based in Sydney’s Pyrmont, the spa is an oasis of tranquility, peace and luxury just moments from the bustling heart of the CBD. Have a treatment there and not only will you be guaranteed the ultimate in relaxation and pampering, but everything used during your treatment – from the skin care products to the robes, slippers and towels provided – will be made from entirely organic or natural ingredients.

I recently had the hard task of trialing the spa’s signature Mali Moonlight Massage (hey, someone’s got to do it!) and can tell you that the experience was absolute bliss.

My treatment began with a warm foot soak in which fresh herbs and minerals were used to cleanse and soothe my feet. Once on the massage table, my therapist got to work undoing my day’s stresses with a combination of traditional long, kneading strokes, Thai massage techniques and acupressure – and the effect was nothing less than heavenly. The Thai jasmine essential oil blend I’d picked (other choices included lemongrass, vetiver, rose and geranium) massaged into my skin like a dream, and left a wonderful aroma that lingered long after I’d left the spa.

I left the spa so relaxed I felt like I was in a dream, and couldn’t wait to book in to try another treatment. A definite must-try if you’re in need of some serious pampering, or a great gift idea for someone special.

That sounds so nice, makes me feel relaxed just reading about it. A really good massage can't be beaten.

WOW!! That spa reminds me of the one I went to in the Philippines earlier this year! It started the exact same way, first with the foot soak and then the gorgeous massage, then ended with a luxurious and detoxifying charcoal body wrap. Soooo beautiful and all organic and natural products. I wish Panpuri Organic Spa was in Queensland too!! We need more spas like this :)

Sounds divine Deb. I have always loved a full body massage and the salon I used to go to always started the massage with a foot bath. Just heaven!

What a fantastic, innovative salon. I love a massage, they just cannot be beaten to ease all he tension in the body away so you feel like liquid afterwards! But as money doesn't always permit. a lovely soak in the tub with lots of bubbles (in the bath and maybe some in a glas hehe ;) ) and a good book is so nice also.

I believe the only way to be pampered is to go to a spa. I have only ever been to one once as it is too exy for me, but it was absolute heaven. Everyone should try to go at least once in their life.

Spa is a great way to be pampered but I love my head or feet massage if I can't have the works.

Is the picture here of the actual spa? If yes, it looks divine! I have never had a real spa experience or massage so they are 2 things I really want to do sometime. This spa looks worth a trip and sounds it with the organic towels, herbs etc, bliss. Hard job Deb :)
