Glosscars Best in Beauty - Men's

A little while ago Shick had a promotion offer where they sent out free full-sized samples of their new hydro 5 razor so I was lucky enough to have one of these bad boys sent straight to my door. I thought long and hard about giving it to one of my guy friends or to my brother but decided to keep it for myself, and honestly it was the best thing I could have done. I kid you not; this is the most outstanding razor in its class!

Firstly the look of the razor is dark blue and white (so it could easily pass off as a ladies razor as it’s a very unisex design) and comes with a little plastic stand which is great to keep the razor clean in the shower and free from sitting in any pools of water. Both the razor and stand are quite compact so it takes minimal shower space.
Some great features of the razor include: the slim design which means travelling is a breeze and the size is a perfect fit into your hand. The handle is also weighted and encased with grip so it makes for an extremely comfortable hold and easy to manoeuvre over the skin. The grip also means you can be sure to never drop your razors again or accidently slip up. The breakthrough technology of a 5 blade razor ensures the closest shave with absolute minimal pulling of the hair. The 5 blades are incredible sharp so it literally glides over the skin leaving it soft and smooth. The sharpness lasts ages with proper maintenance which means you get more use out of the one razor head.
A major advantage of this shick razor is that the razor head has a swivel/tilt technique. This helps with those hard-to-shave places like the neck and jawline with guys, but I found I had no troubles shaving around my knees and ankles. I was, at first, a little hesitate to using this razor for my underarms but now I am in love with how easy this razor makes removing all unwanted hair. I have, in the past, found certain razors uncomfortable for the delicate underarms as some tend to pull the skin and scratch the hair a little too much so after all that I am still left with a prickly feeling. After using the shick 5 hydro, my underarm area was so soft and there were no traces of hair left and no nasty red bumps or marks.
I have found no signs of irritation and I have been using this razor for 2 months now. Obviously this razor is designed for guys and I can only assume that it would be as beneficial for them as it was for me. I would imagine that the razor would glide around the chin and lip area just as easily as it did for my legs and underarms.

After using the shick hydro 5 for myself and have witnessed the outstanding results, I have been recommending this razor to anyone and everyone, male or female! The benefit of buying it for your guy is that you can test it out yourself (but then maybe you might have to fight over it). The good thing though is that at this extremely reasonable price you can afford one for yourself and another one for your partner. The refill razor heads are again at a very reasonable price considering they come in a 4 pack and these razors stay sharp for a considerably longer time then other changeable razors. The design of the razor makes changing heads a breeze with a button that pushes forward to release the old head then clicks into a new one.

I will defiantly continue to recommend this product to anyone that will listen and will continue to use myself and repurchase the blades.
