Veet - Hair Removal Cream for Sensitive Skin
- Overall rating:
Veet Hair Removal Cream for Sensitive Skin is a hair removal cream designed to effectively remove hair without irritating sensitive skin. It can be used on the legs, underarms and the bikini area. The cream is enriched aloe vera and vitamin E to nourish and moisturise the skin, leaving it soft, silky, and smoother for longer. Whereas shaving cuts off the hair at the skin's surface, the hair removal cream gently dissolves the hair leaving a soft tip under the surface meaning that re-growth is softer. The Perfect Touch spatula makes removal of the cream and unwanted hair easy using flexible soft-touch fins at each end to glide over the contours of the body ensuring a clean finish.

i did not like this product one bit, it actually burnt my skin even after i tested on a sensitive part of my skin overnight. The fact that the smell itself can turn you off, should stop you from putting this on your face. it felt like acid was burning on my face, and will definately not use it again.. ever. Would not recommend this to anyone. RESPONSE FROM VEET: Hi Shan228, we’re sorry to hear that you haven’t had the best experience using the Veet Hair Removal Cream! Does the job well
I have used this cream plenty of times and never had any problems with it. I always put quite a bit of and leave it for about twice the recommended time. I have tried to leave it for the recommended time but it just didn't work very well but when I left it for longer it was fine. It does smell pretty bad I have to admit but does the job for me.

Does the job.
This is a good hair removal cream, great for the bikini line. I have really sensitive skin and luckily didn't have any reaction to this cream! My only issue with it is, like all hair removal cream, that smell!

Worst product ever!
There are times when I really feel like there should be a '0 star' option for the beautyheaven ratings - this is one of those times.
What can I say? There is a long list of cons, with not a single pro.
So here goes:
-Doesn't actually fulfill its purpose. This cream would be more effective as a moisturizer then a hair removal product.
-Stings.. a lot. Which is annoying given its supposedly a 'sensitive skin' product.
-Dries on the skin right away. I am not sure whether it is my skin or this product that is the problem, but given the numerous problems I (and judging from some of the other previous reviews - many other bh members) have experienced with this product I select the latter. As soon as I apply it this cream practically seeps in my skin and (as mentioned above) causes this irritating sting.
-Smells horrible. Like, seriously horrible. Considering it allegedly contains aloe vera and vitamin E you'd think the smell would at least be BEARABLE, but no such luck. It's a very irritating, chemical smell that in itself is enough to deter one from using the product.
-Price. Admittedly, it is a lot cheaper then most other hair removal alternatives. But as it achieves absolutely NOTHING that it promises, I believe that every single cent spent on this product is a complete and total waste.
My advice for anyone looking for a hair removal cream is stay far away from this product! I have not used many other Veet products but the disappointing, appalling experience I have had with this product has regrettably deterred me from ever using this brand again. Works but a stinker!
Great for sensitive areas like bikini but a little messy. Stinks out your legs and bathroom for days! On a positive note, leaves skin smooth, soothed and hair free.

Not for me
I used this many years ago and it didn't work on my legs. It removed only a small amount of hair which was extremely frustrating. The smell is also very strong and unpleasant.

this is a good product
it's a good product but the effects don't last long (the hair grows back quickly) and it's very expensive

Not for me
It does the job, but the smell is unbearable and it left the same scent on my skin as well.
This was my first time trying a different hair removal system as an alternative to shaving but I think I'll just stick to my regular routine.

Good but smells bad.
This works really well but smell is a real turn off. It honestly turned me off using it for a while but it does take hair off well so I began using it again.
I thought it would be a quicker process as an alternative to shaving but still took a while. Also I have to leave it longer on my legs than my arms for it to get all the hair.

Good but not great.
I've used this product a number of times now, and have found I used a lot of product to get enough coverage. I've also found I need to leave the product on for as long as recommended, even with finer hair the lesser time just isn't enough. This product does have a strong chemical smell, so opening a window is a must. I have also found it leaves a chemical smell on my skin. I was lucky and never had a reaction, despite having quite sensitive skin. This product works, but would go with something else if I had the choice.
