Smart buys for savvy women

In order to exude an air of confidence, you need to feel good about yourself. As women, this usually means depending on products that leave you looking and feeling fabulous, without too much effort.
Whether it be a multi-tasking make-up palette, a trustworthy deodorant, or a product that you know you can rely on at that time of the month, it’s the small things that can help you to become the confident, savvy woman you know you are!
Here are a few of our favourite smart buys for women in-the-know…
The Face
If your make-up looks great, it’s far easier to feel confident and empowered, which is why it’s imperative to have a few face-perfecting products by your side at all times. Been at work all day and need to take your make-up from day to night? No sweat. A quick application of NP Set On The Double Pen: Liquid Eyeliner + Cream Blush, will take your look from chic and neutral to sexy and playful, stat. For lips that will make you stand out from the crowd, make sure you wear a slick of Bourjois Rose Exclusif. The super smart gloss transforms on your lips to become your perfect shade of pink – so you’ll always look your best no matter what.
The Body
Nothing takes you from drab to fab (and leaves you exuding confidence) faster than a few weapons of mass seduction. A shimmering body lotion, like SunFX Body Shimmer, will provide just the right amount of glimmer to set off your décolletage, while a pair of killer heels will make your legs appear longer and leave you feeling utterly feminine.
However, the best way to feel sexy and ooze self-confidence is to feel comfortable in any situation. That means being properly protected (even when you’re rocking a tight white skirt) at that time of the month. CAREFREE® FLEXIA® regular tampons are designed to provide a perfect fit without discomfort, and are created with special SoftFolds® wings that work to ensure that fluid is drawn to the inner core for less chance of leakage.
Want proof? Check out what Trial Teamer Mariaka had to say… “Carefree Flexia get an A on all counts: comfort, design and absorbency. Normally I would not dare wear a tampon with a very heavy flow, however these tampons worked miracles. I went from irritated and uncomfortable (on a pad) to dry and cheerful as soon as I inserted the tampons. Don't bother with any other tampons, Carefree Flexia are by the far the best tampons in the market right now!”

The Hair
If you’re a girl, you’ll know that having a good hair day is everything. Your outfits look better, your make-up seems more flawless, and your confidence soars. But what about when you wake up late with no time to wash your greasy mop? A savvy woman will always have a bottle of dry shampoo lying around to absorb excess oil and add instant volume. We love Umberto Giannini Morning After Dry Shampoo for its fabulously fresh finish.
And what about when you’re caught in the rain? Even the boldest of beauties cower as soon as the clouds come over. Arm yourself with a pretty hair accessory like the Scunci Girl Flower Pom Pom Headband and rest assured that the focus won’t be on your unruly strands.
The Smell
If you cram a million-and-one things into your day, odds are you’ll need to freshen up to feel at the top of your game. No-one will have a clue about your lunchtime workout if you carry a NIVEA Calm & Care Roll-On Deodorant with you at all times. With 24-hour anti-perspirant protection, you’re sure to smell sweet all day long.
Likewise, if you’ve booked in a big date after work, make sure you’ve got the perfect confidence-boosting product on hand – a seductive scent. We love Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Purse Spray; a few squirts of it will ensure you smell and feel great, and leave him seriously swooning.

The savviest beauty buy I can think of is Olay Complete SPF30+ in 'Sensitive'. It's cheap, doesn't clog my pores, gives me great moisturisation and with the SPF30+ it prevents skin damage of all sorts. Being so affordable it means I can slather it on all over my face, neck and chest.
