Good, but leaks.

I first heard about the Juju cup from a BH article, and loved the idea. It was so strange that I had never heard of it before. I have to mention the gorgeous packaging. Nicely boxed, and a little bag to keep it in.
I had a lot of trouble first getting into the hang of inserting it, and especially taking it out. I found it best to insert it while the cup is wet. Taking the cup out was the most difficult part for me, but Juju were very helpful as their website has a blog page with assistance. Just remember that the tab on the cup is not there to pull it out with, it is there to locate the cup.It has been a few months now, and I have no trouble at all removing or inserting.
The leaking however still happens, not sure why. Mostly happens after laying down. I often still wear a light pad just in case. I would definately recommend it, as it has made my flow 'seem' a lot lighter. So I don't have to go change and freshen up as often, as the cup can be left in for up to 12 hours. I have less cramps, not sure if it has anything to do with using the cup though.

Cannot recommend enough

Ok, for the squeamish out there read on at your own risk....Still here? Then lets get down to business :) First off when you use this product there is the unavoidable learning curve, you can read the instructions a thousand times but sooner or later you just have to take a deep breath and give it a try. At first it was a little awkward to get it into the correct position, kind of like using tampons for the first time. I did have a small amount of leakage but after the second attempt I found the right position and had not problems whatsoever leakage wise, something that constantly happens with tampons for me so that was surprising. Now for the emptying part. It is no different than changing a tampon except for the fact that you have the cup in you hand. If you don't want to see the blood, no problem just empty it down the toilet without looking (make sure there is a layer of paper in there first though as the blood can be quite thick and heavy and sit on the bottom of the bowl even after you flush). I personally just wipe the cup with some clean paper and reinsert. I did rinse and disinfect with Milton cleaner while I was in the shower each day and never had and problem with any nasties in my nether regions etc. Another added bonus was the fact that for the first time ever I had a period with no vaginal dryness, everything stayed as nature intended.
