It Works!

I sweat... a LOT. And this seems to be the ONLY deo/antipers that keeps me dry! It smells fresh and its not overwhelming, so it wont interfere with the perfume your wearing which is a plus!
It's moisturising, but it takes a bit to dry, so try not to put something on right after applying because it'll leave marks ><!
I like this one better than any of the other ones in the clinical protection line because the other ones i find have a scent that isnt appealing to me, whereas this one is nice and fresh :D

Rexona is the better option

After having tried both Rexona and Dove Clinical Protection I feel that the Rexona one is better.

Whilst the concept is the same for both ie apply at night after showering. I found though that whilst the Rexona kept me dry all night and into the next day / night, the Dove on the other hand left me somewhat moist by the late afternoon of the following day.

The next day I applied at night after a shower and then again in the morning but again the same issue arose in that I was somewhat moist by late afternoon.

The Dove product is not for me however there are so many rave reviews about the product (including from some people who are my friends) that I firmly believe that you should try the product for yourself. Perhaps it was just my bodies chemical reaction to the product!

Give it a try!

The only one for me!

Yes, I purspire a lot. More than many women, I feel. Normal roll on's and sPrays do little and wear off fast. They more mask instead of prevent. I would even wear mens roll on's as they work better. BUT FINALLY! A product that really truely works! I put this on before work, say 7am. It says on ALL day! I even go to the gym after work and don't get home until about 6pm, and the beautiful thibg is I am dry and odourless. (I can't smell any B.O) Honestly it is the first product that effectly stays on and does it's job. It has a nice smell and not too strong so you can wear purfume once it is applied without 2 scents mixing! It goes on and dried liek a powder and aborbs any sweat or smell. IT IS BRILLIANT! It is all I will buy from now!

Trial Team review

Thank you BH for being patient and giving me an extention for this review!

I was pretty excited to try this deodorant because I normally use Dove deodorants anyway so didn't think this could go wrong :)

This deodorant has an amazing scent, I find myself trying to smell it during the day and it never disappoints. The packaging is very nice and not flimsy at all like with lots of other similar products. The deodorant is in a form of cream that dries almost immideately after application. I thought it was a very unique formula. The product is applied by turning the little wheel at the bottom so that the cream comes out from the top and it's very easy to get way too much product at first. I worked it out at last - 2 turns is plenty.
I don't normally apply deodorant at night but the scent is so amazing that it was hard to resist.
I apply this in the morning and at the end of the day I still feel fresh and can still smell the deodorant. I don't have any sweat problem though and I don't exercise (temporarily). I did test it on very hot days and it did not disappoint!
The package is not see through but if you hold it to the light you can see how much you've used which I thought was awesome.
The only thing I noticed was the fact that I got white stains on my clothes. This usually doesn't bother me but it's worth mentioning.
The deodorant claims to improve the appearance of skin but to be honest I didn't notice any difference. Maybe it's something that takes a lot longer than a few weeks, we'll see!
I'm not loving the price but this is such a great product that I will probably repurchase!

Trial team review

So, as previous people have mentioned, this product is applied the night before and is meant to last the whole 48 hours. Overall the product had a nice scent, and is easy and nice to apply. I am on ER rotation at the moment and usually use the Rexona Clinical protection. This was a lot nicer smelling and less irritating than the Rexona one, however I felt the need to reapply after 12 busy hours. A wonderful product, just needs a but more staying power.

Dove

I was pretty excited to try this out. It is pretty easy to use, although it did take me a good couple of minutes to figure how to use it lol but i do find it a little inconvenient in public when I forget to use it in the morning sometimes.
I don't like its consistency and hate the fact that I have to use my hands to rub it in as it would leave a white mark if not. Not a very big fan of it's smell, it is very strange. In my oppinion, it does not smell nothing like cucumber nor does it smell anything like green tea. I like that it provides 48 hours protection and can be used before bed. Though I would give it a miss if your not a big sweater like me.

I was happy to recieve this email for this particular product as it is the new thing to come out on our shelves and it claims a lot of things you want to hear. The packaging is appealing and the new design (wind roll on design) was amazing as anything new is always exciting to use. But it was extemely easy to use you just wind the bottom of it and you hear a click and the deodorant comes out at the top and you apply staright to your underarms. The fragrant is fittingly named 'original clean' it truly is a fresh clean smell, that subtly lingers and smells so beautifully clean. I found to get the best results out of this product was to reappy throughout the day as with any deodorant depending on how active you are throughout the day, reapplying ensured that subtle clean smell stayed with you through the whole day. This product is definitely worth a try it really is one of the high end products out there in terms of anti-perspirant deodorants.

Lives up to its claims, with a strong fragrance

I was sent this to trial for the past few weeks, and having had different experiences with various Dove deodorants in the past, I was looking forward to testing the new addition to their line up. This product claims to provide clinical strength against wetness, deliver all-day freshness with their signature fragrance, while still retaining moisturising properties.

I definitely feel that Dove has delivered on this product, so I will give my thoughts on how it has performed and lived up to its claims.

The instructions advise to apply at night after a shower, as the formula of the product works overnight while you are sleeping, and is supposed to withstand even showering the next morning. Application is via twisting the bottom of the product, and a small amount of a pungent white cream will appear on the surface. After applying, you can definitely smell the signature fragrance, which is the one downfall for me. The powdery/flowery smell is quite overpowering to my nose, and it lingers throughout the day. However, aside from that, once I have applied at night, the deodorant works extremely well at keeping me feeling dry and comfortable, and is definitely an extremely effective deodorant. I can sometimes become itchy from certain deodorants, but I experienced no discomfort whatsoever from this product, which was fantastic. As it doesn’t claim to not leave white marks, you do need to be careful with black clothing, but you can work around it if you are careful. The packaging looks smart, and the instructions included in the pack are very clear on how to use it.

So once you get used to how to apply it, it’s a breeze, and I thought it did a fab job on all its claims. The price point is above the price for a regular strength deodorant (I think it’s about 3 times as much), but when you factor in the effectiveness of the product, if you need something with more strength than a regular it would a good choice to try out. Other than the smell of the product which I disliked, the only other qualm I have is that is difficult to determine when you are running low. After using it for the past few weeks, I have no idea how much I have used, as the product is a cream inside the container, and you aren’t able to see, shake or otherwise determine how much has been used.

In summary, this is an excellent product at a great price point, and if you don’t have a sensitive nose to strong fragrances then definitely give it a try if your deodorant hasn’t been cutting it for you!

Pleasantly surprised

This is the first time that I have tried a clinical strength type of deodorant product so I didn't really know what to expect. However, after using this product for the last couple of weeks I have been pleasantly surprised at how well it actually works.

The directions say that it should be applied the night before but even if you apply it first thing in the morning it still works the same for me.

I found the product very easy to use and a couple of turns of the knob released just enough product to be applied under the arms. You have to be careful not to release too much product when you turn the knob because if you apply too much it does not get absorbed into the skin and starts to flake and fall onto your clothes. If applied properly, it does not flake, although it does feel sticky when first applied because it is quite a dry formula but the stickiness soon disappears as the product dries.

I tried this product on very hot days and also while going to the gym. I noticed a significant difference from my usual antiperspirant deodorant and felt a lot more comfortable wearing this. By the end of a long work day there would be no wet patches on my clothes, it was fantastic!!

The product smells great and is not overpowering. Having said that, I would have liked if the product had a bit of a stronger scent so I could smell it by the end of the day. Even though the scent isn't as strong as I would have liked it to be, I still give this product 5 stars because it is the only one that has actually worked in totally eliminating my worries about getting wet patches under my arms on a hot day. Now I can wear any of those satin blouses on a hot day and not have to worry! I highly recommend this product and will be repurchasing it :)
