Not bad for Dove

I usually am not a real Dove fan but I grabbed this product a while back when I was in a rush and it was on sale. I have to say I don't mind it!

I found the scent quite delicate and not overpowering which I like as I don't want it mixing with my perfume etc. It rolls on an appropriate amount and absorbs quickly. I never get white marks on any dark clothing from it and find it does the trick unless I am doing hard physical work and exercise but then again you're going to shower straight after anyway!

Much improved

I still have the original bottle design of this kept at my boyfriend's house and I have to say, they've toned down the scent!
I find the older one is much more pungent and the bottle design let out a lot more cream.
The newer is rather good. Super fresh scent, and love that moisturising cream benefit.

Best deo ever!

I used to use aerosols, but converted to roll-ons after I tried this. It lasts all day, and the best thing is that it leaves no marks on clothing. It does take a while to dry, but I suppose that is true with most roll-ons. Will definitely continue to use this product!

I absolutely love it!

I've tried many deodorants, spray and roll-on, and this is by far one of the best! I LOVE the smell of it - it smells fresh but not over powering, It doesn't leave marks for me, and truly does give me 24 hour protection. It feels great, and I would definitely buy this product again and recommend it to my friends.

LOVE THE SCENT

I have the 48 hr version and It smells absolutely lovely. But it's more like 24 hr protection for me. It doesn't make my skin sting, even the ay after waxing. I love this more than aerosol because it doesn't make the room smell like deodorant and is more convenient. However, it makes my underarms feel powdery and rubbery.

The only deodorant I use!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet. This is the only deodorant I now use, and it is the absolute best for me! It's so creamy and moisturising compared to other roll-ons which feel like I'm just rubbing some liquidy scent cover-up to my armpit. It's fantastic because after I shave my underarms, I apply Dove and it instantly soothes and moisturises the area - I NEVER see and irritation or spots or ingrown hairs, unlike with other deodorants.

I don't use sprays as they seem to irritate my skin, and this roll-on is honestly just an all-around champion. It smells amazing, and lasts literally all day, which is a big deal as having to reapply during the day can be annoying. The other big plus is that unlike with other deodorants which seems to fade and don't do much except cover smell, this one prevents me from sweating as much. Sometimes I smell as good as I did right after my shower, at the end of the day. The smell is also really fresh and not overpowering so you smell nice and clean and not like you've been caked in perfume.

I really don't have anything bad to say about it. They are also so cheap, I have a few tubs all around (my bag, my wardrobe, my car). And you always get the most out of it due to the cap being at the bottom.

My favourite deodorant

This deodorant holds up through anything. It smells fresh even after a full day of work and a trip to the gym.

my HG deodorant

i used to love the dove aerosol spray deodorants, but i have recently converted to a roll-on user; i love this version so much more as it does its job, and dries fast. however, like other roll-ons, its super cold upon application in the morning, however the plus side to the these is that the product doesnt get wasted, as opposed to accidentally aiming the spray deodorant somewhere else. this smells just like the spray version!

Great little deodorant.

I like Dove deodorants because they never irritate my skin, especially after shaving. This one is no exception. It feels soothing on my skin, and after wearing it all day AND going to the gym I'm not left all smelly and sweaty, I'm pretty pleased with it :) I like the green tea and cucumber scent in theory, however it takes a little while to dissipate, which I find annoying, but some people may like. Dove are always my favourite deodorants :)

A Must Have Staple!

This is my FAV deodorant of all time. The packaging is slimline and I think it's cute. The lid is a simple twist and click, none of that annoying screw cap like most roll ons.
When applying it's not sticky or overly wet feeling and drys fast. The smell is AMAZING, I love the cucumber and green tea scent as its fresh and clean and everything you want out of a deodorant scent. It's not enough to drown out your perfume but subtle and refreshing at the same time. Love it!
The price is amazing, for under $4 it lasts me well over a month! It will take something pretty special for me to change to another deodorant.

not sticky at all.
i wouldnt say it stops me from sweating but it definatly minimises it and it covers all odors 100%
its one of my favs and beauty staple for me

Great all rounder

This is a really good deodorant, it smells great - so refreshing in the morning. It lasts quite well and doesn't leave marks - it's not as good as my HG deodorant (Mitchum) but it does a pretty darn good job! Also I really notice the different with the 1/4 moisturising cream - it really keeps my underarm area moisturised and protects it from shaving.

Fresh roll on deodorant

I really like the fresh smell of this deodorant - and I also like that it does not leave an empowering scent behind clashing with my perfume - and that is the reaon I prefer roll ons over spray deodorants as the ladder is usually stronger smelling.
It is very effective deodorant, although I am not quite sure about the claim of 24 hour protection - however, it protects me throughout even the hottest day with a problem. The only problem is that it does leave white marks on dark clothes, and for that reason I only give it 3/5 stars.

Go Fresh Fresh Touch Roll-on Deodorant

Smells divine! But sadly not exactly 24hr protection like it claims. At least, not for me. Does an okay job but I think I prefer original aerosol. Very affordable though.

Love the fragrance!

I never thought this one with cucumber would smell so fresh and good but it did! I loved it in the beginning but then I got a bit sick of the smell but that's just me I guess. I prefer other deo's in the range. This product doesn't really last for 24 hours even if u don't hv heavy perspiration but they never do.
Not my favourite but it works well for a good price!

Fresh for long

The scents in this deodorant are so fresh and lively that I couldn't help but try it out, and I am impressed. This is a non-sticky fresh formula which allows me to carry on with my day without having to worry. Amazing :)

Not for me

I loved this product when I first purchased it. The scent was fresh and clean and it lasted all day.

But a few weeks after using this roll on every day, I found the product seemed to be losing its effectiveness. Id put it on and there was no fresh smell, it smelled to me like body odour.

I am disappointed that this product is no longer working for me as the packaging is fantastic! The lid is on the bottom so there is no product wastage. It also leaves no white marks and is non irritating on my skin.

I might try another scent in the range to see if I have the same problem, hopefully I will find the one for me!

Not sticky!!

I really like using roll-on's as I find them to have more staying power than sprays.
Most roll on's take ages to dry and can feel sticky, however this one definately didn't.
It dried really quickly and kept by BO at bay all day!!

Roll Away Odours!

Dove Go Fresh Anti-perspirant Roll-on deodorant in cucumber and green tea scent has me converted from my usual spray on deodorant. Quick and easy to use the cap clicks and twists on and off revealing a smooth roll-on ball housed in an easy grip, comfortable moulded plastic container thats shaped to fit comfortably into my hand. Its fresh cucumber and green tea scent isn't overpowering so it doesn't clash wit my perfumes and lasts me through a full days activities living up to its claims of 24 hour protection. It does keep me free from sweaty odours and guards against damp sweat patches. It feels soft, moisturising and refreshing on my skin and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin even when applied immediately after hair removal. It dries quickly after applying and doesn't mark my clothes. I have been using this anti-perspirant for well over a month and there is still plenty left. I have used other Dove deodorants in the past and this seems equally as good as the others. Knowing that this is gentle, moisturising with its 1/4 moisturising cream formula and gives me long lasting protection I would happily use this anti-perspirant again. The scent alone is inviting not to mention fair value for money!

24 hours?

This deodorant definetly didn't give me the 24 hour protection it claimed, I ended up applying powder deodorant over the top of it. The scent is also terrible. At first it smells lovely and fresh, but after 30 seconds all I can smell are chemicals.
I thought the packaging was nice though. Clean. fresh and perfectly tapered to fit my hand. It also left my skin feeling moisturised. I won't be purchasing this product after the trial.

Not so fresh

I generally always use an anti-white mark deodorant, and prefer roll-ons to aerosols. I have tried Dove’s range of anti-perspirants before, and find that it usually doesn’t keep me feeling as fresh or odour free as other brands at a similar price point. The deodorant I reviewed has a Cucumber and Green Tea scent which is quite strong. I am fairly sensitive to scents, and there was something in this scent that I don’t like. It does smell like cucumber and kind of fresh, but there is a strange chemical undertone to it that I can continue to smell throughout the day and makes me want to scrub off. I do prefer deodorants that have that baby powder, fresh soapy scent. In regards to performance, it doesn't keep me feeling dry, especially if I am wearing something synthetic, I can detect some odour by the end of the day as well. Not ideal I have to admit, although I rarely wear synthetic clothes for this reason, they definitely make you sweat more as your skin is unable to breathe in the unnatural fibres. I wear a lot of black to work, and didn’t find it left any unnoticeable white marks which was a plus point. However, unfortunately it doesn’t work for me as an anti-perspirant and the scent is something I am sensitive to so although it may work for some people, I can’t recommend it from my experience.

Dove Deodorant

I never like to use a roll on deodorant as they don't give me that fresh feeling and this deodorant is not the exception. I didn't like the smell of the deodorant which is quite confusing and it doesn't leave up to my expectations. The packaging is like all other roll on deodorants and is very summery.

The smell of this deodorant doesn't last for long and it feels very wet when first applied. The only thing I liked about this is that it doesn't leave any powdery residue behind.

Very fresh

I'm not a big fan of roll-on deodorant, only because it's much simpler to spray than 'roll-on'. But, I've really enjoyed using this roll-on by as part of the Dove Trial Team . It smells really pleasant and it does well to keep me protected against perspiration. I don't have that 'wet' feeling and it leaves no white marks, which is great! So top marks for Dove!

Fresh, subtle confidence.

I have a few of these Dove Roll-On Deodorants for myself, I love the different varieties of fragrances they have and the price is unbeatable. I love the shape of the packaging with all the curved edges. The design on the label is enticing and looks fresh and inviting. It has a pretty green screw top lid, the entire package screams “summer”. This Dove Roll-On is Cucumber and Green Tea scent and it is a lovely and subtle scent. It just blends with everything else. I really dislike many spray deodorants as I find them so overpowering, it gets caught in my throat. This is not like that, it’s a very natural smelling deodorant. I can really pick out the cucumber in this more than the green tea. I also like a deodorant that’s not going to steal the spotlight away from my perfume. It’s very gentle on my underarms while being very effective in controlling any unwanted smells. Dove is my favourite brand when it comes to deodorants and I probably will buy this again and I’d recommend it to everyone.

Cool as cucumber!

Awesome deodorant! I really love the fresh green scent of cucumber! It light and refreshing!
The deodorant is very effective too. The liquid in the roll on stays wet on the underarms for sometime and absorbs after a couple of minutes. It doesn't leave any white marks. It is gentle on the skin. It doesn't sting or irritate the delicate underarm skin. Post shave application is without any major discomfort.
It keeps me dry all day, works round the clock to keep the body odour away. The beautiful cucumber and green tea scent is very pleasing. It is light and doesn't interfere with my perfume.
Great packaging too. It stands upside down to get every last drop of the deodorant out. I can easily carry it in my hand bag.
Overall, an impressive deodorant. Will buy it again!

smells divine

The smell of this cucumber and green tea deodorant is amazing!!! I really liked the fact that this dove anti-perspirant contains 1/4 moisturiser so it feels soft and soothing on the skin and not at all irritating. I found it was quite sticky on application but when dry worked relatively well. However, at times I applyed aerosol over the top as I found it wasn't that long lasting to keep my underarms dry. The size of the bottle means it is convenient to take wherever you go and the colours and design reflect the fresh feel of the product.

Not sure about the scent, but very effective

I'm still a bit undecided about this product...Dove's other Cucumber and Green Tea products smell so gorgeous but when I opened the cap on this antiperspirant I noticed that it didn't really have a fragrance at all - it was sort of a bland plastic smell. I'm not sure whether I received a dud product but given how much I love the other antiperspirant/deodorants that Dove make (my favourite is the Pink one) this was somewhat of a disappointment. The upside down bottle is a very practical idea, however, after applying the product it created a layer of 'slime' around the cap which was annoying as I had to remove it using a tissue before replacing the lid. On a positive note, Go Fresh Touch was very effective at keeping me dry and sweat free all day even after a heavy gym session. I also didn't notice any white marks on my clothing which was terrific!

All Day Fresh Protection

I've been doing the Dove Head to Toe Challenge and this was one of the Dove products sent to me. I use roll-on deodorant and have loved Dove products so expected it to be good.

I love the shape of the cute white and green bottle but do find it slips out of my hand easily when applying. Other than that I have no complaint and would certainly buy it again for it's fresh but delicate scent that reminds me of a summer cucumber salad.

Cucumber and green tea - who would have thought!

Cucumber and green tea - it doesn't sound like a winning combination for a deoderant fragrance, but this is one of the best smelling deoderants that I have tried. Unlike a lot of over-powering overly-chemical deoderants on the market, this one is light and fresh. Quite an uplifting smell to start the day with, and one that won't detract from your perfume.

It is packaged with the rollerball at the base, which means it is always ready for immediate use. As with most roll-ons, it goes on moist but dries fairly quickly.

I found it gave me great protection, although I didn't engage in any overly strenuous activities during the trial period (my bad!) so probably didn't put it fully to the test in that respect!

This is a great product, and I intend to purchase it in the future.

Wonderful at first but not for me

I had the opportunity to trial this for the Dove Head to Toe challenge. I really loved this product as for the first 2 weeks it kept me dry, gave my armpits a pleasant clean and fresh smell, and didn’t irritate me. I loved that it kept me dry all day with no exceptions, and the scent is really pretty and delicate (i’d wear it for just the scent alone). The roll-on is compact and makes application very easy, it dries within a couple of minutes so you can put it on in the morning even if you’re in a rush to get to work and if you forget to, it’s small enough to easily fit in your handbag and the locking lid means there’s no possibility of it leaking.

However, I was pretty disappointed as I saw a TV commercial by Dove that claimed that their antiperspirants reduce irritation from shaving in 7 days. I’m guessing that’s because of the ¼ moisturisers in their antiperspirants so I was hopeful that my normally irritated armpits would be in heaven. For the first couple of weeks this was the case, I didn’t have to think twice about itchy armpits but after the 2 week mark, the minor itching started. Then it got worse and I had to stop using it as not only were my armpits irritated, but they were really dry too (I guess the moisturisers weren’t enough for my skin). I’ve now stopped using it for a week and it’s irritated my armpits quite badly that they’re really dry, sore, itchy and red. I do have sensitive skin, especially my armpits, so this reaction may not be typical but if you’re easily irritated by antiperspirants then this might not be the best product for you. This makes me really sad as I loved how well it kept me dry and the scent is really beautiful.

This is the gentlest supermarket antiperspirant that i’ve ever used (as it took quite a while before it started to irritate my skin) and in Summer I would probably still use it for a couple of days a week and put up with any minor itching that might occur as a trade off for being dry and having the lovely cucumber and green tea scent. So if antiperspirants are usually a no go for you, this is much gentler and might be just what you’re looking for. But if you have no issues with irritation (or only get slight irritation) then i’d recommend this in a heartbeat as it keeps your armpits smelling beautiful and moisturised while keeping your dry.

Inexpensive and effective

This is a great little staple product which rolls on smoothly and works really well. The fragrance is light and refreshing with a real hint of both cucumber and green tea, and it dries quickly, leaving no residue on dark clothing. Most importantly, it works - no body odour, no wetness, I tried using it only once over 2 days and still no odour, even though I was out in the sun for some of that time.

Long lasting refreshing deodorant

Love love love this deodorant. There was no overpowering scent, which normally turns me off using deodorants. It lasted the whole day, leaving my underarms sweat free and smelling nice and refreshing. The test was when I was at a store, with my jacket and warm clothes on and their heater blasting. It was a situation that would see my underarms go moist, but this product stood up to it's promise.

Confusing scent and did not work well.

I was given this as part of the trial team so I was grateful to be able to try it. The bottle is upside down which is great as it gets every little bit. However I did not understand the scent. Cucumber and Green Tea? It did not smell very nice (smelt like burnt plastic) and it seemed to make me smell like I have body odour. It did not prevent perspiration and I found myself applying other products on top of it. I would not purchase this product.

I've been pleasantly surprised

I'm not a roll on user but tested this product as part of the trial team..over the past week I have used it every morning. It has a lovely subtle scent and glides on easily. It does feel "wet" for a while but once it dries it works beautifully keeping me dry all day. I love that there is no powdery residue that you usually get from spray deodorants. It has been a very pleasant surprise and would definitely buy it again and recommend to other roll on resistant ladies,

Smells awesome!

The cucumber and green tea is sweetest smelling thing ever! It reminds me of candy! It works well but not the greatest anti-perspirant for a workout but good for everyday wear.

perfect for travel

i love taking a roll on when i go for a weekend away or stay over at a friends house... often its a little annoying to carry around an aerosol can... the roll on is so good, dries quickly and doesnt feel sticky or anything... perfect size and such a handy grip ....

Lovely scent

Mmmm... cucumber and green tea... remind you a little of summer? I love the fragrance, it's light and refreshing, like eating cool watermelon on a super hot summer's day. I'm not usually into roll-ons because I don't like the temporary feeling of wetness, and also because the deodorant transfers onto my clothes, which is unsightly.
Go Fresh is still a roll-on, but it protects against sweatiness, and ensures you stay smelling fresh the whole day. I don't have problems with odor, but that being said, I do like to have a scent, just because it usually lifts my mood, and this is one those deodorants that do just that. Although, next time I'll probably go for the aerosol version.

A perfect, refreshing roll-on scent for the summer

The Dove line of Cucumber & Green Tea scented Go Fresh products are my essentials during the summer, and this little roll-on is a winner everytime. The scent is light and refreshing, peppy without being obnoxious. The upside down bottle makes application easy, and the deodorant itself is non-sticky and works throughout the day to keep you feeling fresh.

best i've used

i've used other deodorants but this is the best i've used. love the smell, not too strong but not weak. it actually works. i've used other brands before where in hot weather it doesn't work as well but this one gets me pretty far.

Go Fresh rolll on deodorant

Although i love the scent, it didnt work for me! not sure why!? maybe because it doesnt have much aluminimum content but i found that i sweated still even with it on and didnt offer much in the form of protection against wetness.

So Fresh

Ive always hated deoderants that clash with your perfume. this is really subtle and refreshing,it doesnt clash with my perfume and its great for those days when you dont wear any perfume. it gives you that just had a shower smell.

Good value, great product!

I bought this because of the smell (beautiful!) and the price (bargain!), and was very pleasantly surprised as too how well this deodorant works. I'm a bit of a sweaty betty and usually need to put on more deodorant in the afternoon, but with this I don't need to, I'm dry and fresh all day. I've have though that I need to wait a couple of minutes for the deodorant to dry before I get dressed, otherwise it can leave a couple of marks on dark clothing, but that's more than worth it for a deodorant that works this well.

hooray for an amazing roll-on

having just switched back to roll-on after years of using aerosol, I was delighted to find this product. smells amazing, gives long lasting protection and comes in an excellent upside-down applicator. gold star!

Love It !!!

this stuff is amazing, ... it smells so good and it really works leaving that fresh smell with u all day. and the upside down bottle stops it from drying out... seriously buy this product!

my all time favourite deo.much compact than the spray cans and contains moisturisers so that my skin doesnt get flaky

go fresh!

this deodorant smells absolutely delicious like all the other products on the go fresh range (i'm in love with the shampoos).

long-lasting anti-perspirant that smells wonderful. what more can you ask for? but the one downside that i found was that it left some white marks on my black clothes but they washed right off so it wasn't so bad.

My New Favourite

I just bought this product a couple of weeks ago. The smell is absolutely delicious! It's fresh, clean and won't over-power any fragrance you are wearing. It hasn't passed the summer test yet but 5 thumbs up from me for now!
