Legs eleven

Long dresses were all over the Emmys this year but one woman stood out for all the right reasons. Step up Eva Longaria Parker.
Looking swish in a Marchesa gown, here in the beautyheaven offices, we couldn’t take our eyes off Mrs LP’s toned, tanned – and dare we say it, long – limbs. And if the pint-sized poppet can have that good a result, we want in.
That's why we're rocking the four T plan...
Toning up
Manicare Cellulite Bristle Brush
Yes we might sound like a broken record, but that’s because this really is a cheap-as-chips way to rid yourself of lumps and bumps. While the bristles exfoliate the skin the nodules massage muscles and help to reduce cellulite.
But don’t just take our word for it…
“I use this brush on my skin dry and massage my legs in a circular motion with both sides. It's great for the circulation and helps with cellulite.” – Beauty Obsession
NIVEA Body My Silhouette
This gel contains white tea and anise to firm body contours. The ‘dream team’ as we’ve dubbed them in the office slow down the accumulation of fat cells and stimulate collagen-producing cells making skin firmer and one step closer to being fat-free.
But don’t just take our word for it…
“My skin felt smoother right after the first application. After 2 weeks my thighs & hips look firmer, smoother and moisturised. I'm impressed; for a bargain $11.90 it has better texture and does a better job than the more expensive brands I've tried. I would highly recommend this for smoother and firmer skin.” – music
Touching up
Sally Hansen Hair Remover Wax Strip Kit
These quick and simple hair removal strips are a great cost-effective way to get fuzz-free limbs for longer.
But don’t just take our word for it…
“If you're like me with never enough time to spare, these are perfect for on-the-go jobs. The strips got rid of all the hair without the irritated blotchiness I've experienced using other hair removal products. Keep them handy so you never get caught out again.” – Inkninja
Gillette Venus Embrace
It seems mighty unfair to us that guys have long held the reign over five-blade razors. Thank goodness that Gillette Venus feels the same and have introduced a fantastic five-blade razor just for us girls. We’ve been getting our closest ever shave with the spring-looking Embrace.
But don’t just take our word for it…
“I am in love with this razor. I've forever been stealing my man's razor as I've never had good enough results with a girl’s one. Thankfully this has changed all of that and I just love the 'suction cup' that lets me keep blades close.” – Lipstick Lovie
Tanning up
SunFX Spray-on Tan
This tan in a can offers a natural, golden glow because, let’s face it, no one wants to see pasty white limbs on the beach. Do it the evening before you plan to whip out those legs – just be warned, it can come off on your linen – and don’t be surprised if people think you’ve just jetted in from Fiji.
But don’t just take our word for it…
“I used to see my beauty therapist for professional spray tans but I can honestly say I will never have to go back again! I have been using my SunFX Spray-on Tan for a whole week now and my tan has not only stayed on, but still looks perfect! Everyone keeps on asking me if I have been at the beach or on vacation! It absorbs into the skin really well leaving skin looking natural, thinner and sexy.” – Pink Diva MUA
Prestige Cosmetics Sun Flower
To give that extra sun-kissed shimmer dab a bit of this illuminating bronzing powder on your legs. The smooth formula blends in easily providing even coverage with a natural finish that’s just on the right side of golden.
But don’t just take our word for it…
“I love this as a body bronzer. Fantastic colour, makes my skin look so tanned and gorgeous. Great price too for the amount you get.” – natz
Teaming up
Great pins deserve great friends so team with a top toe polish. Our picks:
“Ulta3 Nail Polish in Pepper Pot. It’s a peppery red; the perfect statement colour.” – Sarah, beautyheaven Editorial Assistant
“I’m loving Mavala in 72 Nice. It’s an orangy-red, which looks fabulous with bronzed limbs. It works well with a LBD too – adds a dash of colour.” Leanne, beautyheaven Managing Editor
"The new Bloom Nail Polish in Goldie. It’s soft, subtle and looks beautiful against tanned tootsies!" - Olivia, beautyheaven Office Assistant

I'm loving the sound of all these products (well except the SunFX spray tan as that really didn't work too well for me!) - def putting the manicare brush and the nivea cream on my list for my next trip to priceline! I need to do some work on my legs so I can rock those minis this summer!
I'm loving the sound of the prestige bronzer too - I'm currently using a face of australia bronzer for my body but def like the sound of the prestige one - so that'll be its replacement!

If you don't want tan marks on the bed linen or your clothes, try Sally Hansen's airbrush sun - it only reacts on skin and turn you a beautiful colour, not your clothes!

i'm glad Bh is really pushing 'fake bake'. i wince when i see people with red tortured skin! my husband will usually manage to get one bad burn a summer, hanging around with me all the time he forgets he's white! could we have an article on sun blocks, esp for different skin types, men, babies etc?

Loving the sound of all of these products, and can I just say how fantastic it is to have our lovely BH ladies reviewing them for us? It really makes me want to try these products, because I know I am actually getting advice from people I can trust.

The Spray FX sounds good to me. A healthy golden glow to brighten up my pale, sickly complexion. I could never achieve a tan by sun baking nor should I subject myself to the harsh uv rays but, this way I can get some colour quickly and safely. I also like the sound of the Manicare Cellulite brush to exfoliate and smooth out any nasties underneath my skin.

Cellulite & dimpling seem 2 have a sneaky way of appearing out of no where so i'm totally keen 2 give Manicare Cellulite Bristle Brush a go. Anything that helps even minutely is a godsend! The Venus Embrace is what i've started using & like Lipstick Lovie I think it's a good razor. Now i just need 2 work on my fake tan.... tricky 2 turn a pale & pasty casper look a like into a carribean queen without looking fakey!
