The word ‘oil’ usually brings minor tremors to those who have ever suffered from a combination complexion or troublesome T-zone. But the fact is, beauty oils have many benefits for the hair, skin and body.
Not only does a little go a long, long way, but they’re also ultra hydrating and allow optimal absorption of treatment ingredients that effectively take care of problem areas like scarring or dry skin. Check out 10 of the best oils you and your beauty kit can’t do without…

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil
“Palmer's Skin therapy oil is fabulous, I'm always a little sceptical of products that claim to rid your skin of marks and blemishes but I have to say I am duly impressed with the results after a short period of time. Always so envious of women with flawless skin, I think I may have found their secret. I'm not sure how practical it is having to put it on 3 times a day but I suppose it comes down to how effective you would like the treatment to be. I'm not as sold on the packaging and would like a pump pack especially as your hands get oily and this transfers to bottle which of course ends up on the bench top. I have some scarring on my knees from a sports injury and have particularly concentrated on that and the oil has definitely made a difference. The fragrance was nice, not too overpowering and overall I have to say I'm impressed including on the price.” Rating: 5/5 – Justjo

Loving this oil, but I agree with Justjo - a pump or dropper dispenser would be a welcome improvement. I've continued to see improvements in my skin texture and colour since the trial...

I'm always looking for a good scar reduction oil, perhaps I'll have to give this a go... although the packaging does sound a lil annoying!

For a great shine on your hair.......
1 tablespoon of olive oil, add 1-3 drops of essentials oils, warmed, apply to washed hair and wrap in glad wrap for 1/2 hour. Rinse in warm water, dry and your hair will be very soft and super shiny.

I have just started using this oil and I must say that I do like it. Makes my skin feel so soft. Though a pump bottle would be easier to use.

I have tried almost every self tanning lotion from the almost instant to the graduation types for the last 15yrs and hands down Palmers formula in the Natural Bronze with Vit E are the ultimate. No streaks, all natural colouring. And love the price. I also moisturise my face with it which gives a natural tanned glow. Love it!!

I like this Oil but the packaging is inconvenient and it doesn't really do much in terms of improving scars etc.

I love oils. I have a beauitful body oil that I use which has Hemp, Patchouli, Vanilla Pod & Lime Oils in it. It leaves my skin so soft, plus it smells so yummy! I use Hemp & Argan oil in my hair, and I try and keep a collection of oils around the house to perk up my spirits when i'm down. My favourite has got to be Lavendar oil - it's so versatile.
