The scrub of your life

As we officially step into autumn, we want to be doing so in style. And preferably with silky-smooth legs. So we’ve road-tested some of the best exfoliants out there and tested a couple of newbies to give you the lowdown on how they scrub up.

"I'm actually rather surprised to say that I found this light exfoliator to be a really pleasant experience. It's not that I don't love Clinique (I do) or that I doubt its ability to produce a good exfoliator (I most certainly don't), it's just when I first used it, it felt almost too light to live up to its name. The soft, silky cream was gorgeous but I worried it wouldn't rid me of pesky dry elbows. I needn't have worried though, after using it for a few days my skin is practically glowing. Big thumbs up Clinique for converting a normally harsh-scrub fan.” – Sarah, bh Online Editor

This scrub sounds like a good one to try. I already use Clinique's 7-day face scrub and that is pretty good too.

Wow, 5 out of 5 is a big call so Clinique must have this one designed well! I like the sound of it being light, soft & silky as I don't like body scrubs that feel overtly abrasive or stripping on my skin. Gr8 review Sarah, sounds like a good body smoothing cream :) Clinique make some great products & this sounds like another one of them!

I love clinque but I have my Coconut natural body scrub that I use and it would take alot to tear me away from it. It is made locally, and apparently contains, coconut milk, sugar, honey and something else that makes it foam (I can't remember and the lable has washed off my current one lol)

Fantastic review Sarah!! I would love to try this body scrub out; however I like my shower products to have a fragrance. Being Clinique I would tihnk this is fragrance-free. But I could be wrong!! xoxo

I tried Clinique products a few years back and I had a bad experience with them. Would considere to try again and a body scrub might be where I need to start.

I loved the Turnaround face creams so I can understand why this little beauty got a 5/5. I want to try this one.

My favourite is Nuskin's Liquid Body Lufra which leaves my skin feeling soft, buffed and moisturized. Linden leaves flax seed body polish is not bad. Dermalogica's product has a harsh smell and feels brutal.

Oooh this sounds great, although some of Clinique's creams and bodycare products bring me out in a rash, I love St Ive's scrubs always go back to them......

I love Clinique, this looks great! I am starting to like the idea of non abrasive scrubs as they're meant to be less harsh on your skin
