Hot tip of the week: brush for a better bod

Kate recently honoured her New Year’s resolution (yes, we know, it’s September – she’s a bit slow off the mark) to dry body brush twice daily.
She was feeling a little sluggish, and had heard that dry body brushing was good for improving your circulation, stimulating your skin, and getting rid of those pesky toxins that hang around in your system.
After three weeks of consistent body brushing, Kate had the following to say:
“Wow. What a pain in the arse (it is a pretty boring ritual), but I persisted and I have to say it has paid off. Not only do I feel better, but my skin is glowing too. Will (try to) keep it up and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a pep-up in the lead up to summer.”
Try: Eco Tools Bamboo Bristle Bath Brush

Have you kept your New Year's resolutions? What were they?

My beauty resolution was to use a face mask every week - I've missed a few weeks since the start of the year, but on those occasions, I did it twice the next week, so as far as I'm concerned, I've kept mine :-)

I didn't have a new years resolution. But that looks like it would feel relaxing.

After weight, skin is the second competition I seem to find myself in during summer, so I am trying to get a renewed aura to my skin. I'm quite lazy myself but I do love to try new things and recommend them to my friends who are just as daring so going to give it a shot! thank you :)

has anyone with sensitive skin tried dry body brushing? Just concerned it may irritate my skin. My new years beauty resolution was to quit smoking and drink more water - i've done both YAY!

Body brushing is amazing!! It feels awesome, like your whole skin has been renewed. I have keratosis pilaris on my arms and try to brush twice a week. It's significantly improved. My fiance touches my arms and legs now and just says "Smooth! Soft!"
I use the Manicure one.. it is rough, but you can increase or decrease the pressure you use accordingly. I'm a bit sensitive (and extremely ticklish) but surprisingly got used to it sooo quickly!

Must admit, my skin does feel so super soft after a good dry body brush ..... it's just finding the extra 15mins before the shower to do it!! :-(
