I actually love giving gifts, including the whole experience from shopping, wrapping the gift, writing the card and then seeing the person open the gift.

The Lancôme Beauty Box 2011 and the Estée Lauder Blockbuster 2011 – The Colour Stylist Collection are absolutely gorgeous packages! I love giving gifts, it always excites me watching them open their presents.

I love giving sets because they're all pretty already. My fav part about giving gifts is wrapping, hiding away the secret because my fav part about getting a gift is unwrapping!!

I love wrapping presents up and giving them but I can't lie and say that giving is better than receiving for me... Just a tiny little bit? I don't get presents anyway for Christmas as we don't celebrate it. =P

I guess that I am a bit selfish as I prefer to get rather than give.

Oh, this is a hard question to answer! It is pretty awesome to see children's faces light up at Christmas time! Particularly, when they receive a gift they've been dying for! Isn't that why we continue to pass on the Santa story and fill each other's stockings at this time of year?!

definitely prefer giving, but there's plenty on this list I'd be happy to receive (hint hint hubby). Some nice ideas here for good friends too.

The Lancome and EL are really tempting- I just kinda don't want to buy the perfume first.

definatley prefer giving gifts, makes me feel good and always nice to help, or bless people who mightn't always be able to get those things themselves.

I only have a small number to exchange presents with. I love giving presents, but most of those on my list are men, and they aren't as fun to buy for!

I do love giving pressies and I try to buy something that is really different but it's always within my budget. I find I can spend small to buy something unusual. I love when they open what I have wrapt and then see their smiles at what they have got.
I saw the Estee Lauder blockbuster at the shops the other day and all I could do was drool and dream. Maybe one day it will happen.

I thought about this and I think I love giving especially to my kids and family. The exitement on their faces is priceless. Animals are another thing I love giving to as well. They love treats. ###Sandra

Walking into stores at this time of year, I go into overwhelm - so many gorgeous gifts to choose from. Thanks bh for plucking a very pretty bunch out of the beauty ocean.
When I was a young un', it was all about receiving, although choosing (or making) a present for my close family & friends was always a highlight. Now the pleasure is all in the giving - I try to focus on items that I think the recipient would love but never buy for themselves...
