It does the job

I bought this product on sale, because I needed an all round body moisturiser that doesn't irritate my skin-and in that respect, it does what I wanted.
It doesn't linger on my skin when I apply it, it smells alright and my skin feels better when I use it.
So while it's nothing to rave about, I'd continue to use it quite happily (which is a good thing, because it came in a double pack!)

Nice

This works as a body lotion - don't know about the 7 days claim but it does moisturise.

I prefer the other varieties as the smell is a little odd, but I did get used to it and finished the whole bottle.

Great

This product is great, not a strong smell, easily absorbed and did not irritate my eczema. Good price for a good product, would recommend to anyone.

Awesome.

Better than any other on the market for the price, smell is fine and not too strong. Absorbs well into the skin and is non greasy.

Tis awesome.

Its sooo good, I borrowed some from my sister and then got addicted, It smells awesome although a tad strong, is nice and light but also fantastically hydrating. Usually i really dislike Garnier products but this is superb.

Fulfilled the claim, my skin felt silky smooth and moisturised for seven days despite that I stopped using it.

What a great product. My skin loved it. I chose the sensitive skin option as I am allergic to Garnier's SOS after sun lotion. But I was pleasantly surprised to find no irritation. It had a pleasant smell and didn't leave my body feeling greasy. However it wasn't absorbed instantly and I did have to wait around a bit before putting on clothes.

Great moisture zap!

Given that my skin is SUPER dry and I normally need a super rich moisturiser, I was a bit dubious about how good this would be. I've tried other Garnier body lotions before and wasn't impressed.
I applied this after showering every morning, and for a couple of days, my skin appeared and felt very dry without my usual rich creams. After about 5 days of usage, I started to see a change in my skin and after 7 days my skin my very moist and smooth. It seems to take a while to work, but when it does...wow!

Lovin' it

Light, thick, creamy and fast absorbing... it's a miracle!
I have been using Garner's Soothing Lotion for a number of weeks now and have found the product to be a wonderful surprise. It's rich, yet easily absorbed and smells fresh and lovely. My skin hasn't felt this good in a long long time.
I looooove this product. My skin is rejoicing!

does the job

While i can't see this lasting 7 days it does do a good job and leaves your skin smooth and feeling nourished, i've only seen a slight improvement ans it's more that my skin just feels better then looks better. The best part for me is it doesn't leave that yucky feeling almost every other moisturiser i've ever tried does, it doesn't soak in "instantly" but it does do the job pretty quickly. i will buy this again.

Value for money

As soon as i saw this at price line i wanted to try it,....I have normal skin but it gets very dry during winter and causes itchiness,....mainly in my legs,...i used the palmers cocoa butter oil but it gave me only temporary relief,..... so out of all the varieties i chose the honey one cos it smelt better than the others,....the scent was mild and also i use the palmolive honey and milk body wash so the fragrances wont clash,...

Alright for a cheaper product

I will start off by saying that I endeavour to only use natural and/or organic skin care on my face and body as I have rather sensitive skin. It has been a long time since I have used a brand like Garnier, but when offered to trial this product I was intrigued to see if my opinion of this sort of brand might change.

I really like the design of this bottle as it is convenient to use, and unlike pump bottles it will be easier to get the last of the product out. I wasn't sure what to expect with the smell and was hoping it wasn't going to be an overbearing honey scent. Luckily it wasn't, although the fragrance seems a lot stronger than other body lotions I've used. It goes on smelling quite nice but melts down to a less pleasant fragrance after a while.

The first time I used it I thought I noticed a slightly itchy feeling on application, but dismissed this as I often have dry, sensitive skin after a shower. The next time I used it I felt a slight sting on my chest area, which did calm down after a while. The lotion does, however, have quite a nice texture and is easily absorbed into the skin. It doesn't leave any greasy residue and I didn't feel like I had a build up of product by the end of the day, which quite often happens with other brands. After regular use my skin feels moisturised, but not any smoother than normal.

On the whole it's a pretty decent product for the price, but I'm willing to spend a little bit more for a better quality product.

Soothing for you, not for me

Garnier's Soothing lotion contains L-Bifidus and honey which helps with hydration.
Garnier claims that the Soothing lotion's hydration will still be felt after 7 days on the skin - this is not the case for my skin, without moisture everyday my skin becomes very dry!
The Garnier Soothing Lotion is contained in a tall green bottle that holds 400 ml of product.
It is fitted with a convenient cap that allows the product to be easily squeezed out when needed. I suffer from very dry skin with eczema, therefore i have to be very careful with what i use on my skin otherwise my eczema to tend to flare up.
The product is lightweight and creamy to the touch which makes the skin feel smooth and supple with no greasy residue afterwards The smell is interesting, it doesn't smell like honey to me but it is an nice smell! :) However i do believe that this lotion irritates my eczema therefore i dont recommend this product for those who suffer from eczema. Other than that it is a great lotion that is very affordable at 6.95! (Ive seen cheaper - which is great) I find a lot of body lotions that contain perfume or are not made for eczema sufferers will react to my skin unfortunately! Overall i wouldn't buy this product due to my skin however i do recommend it to others :)

Pretty new product!

Firstly I would like to thank BH and Garnier for giving me the opportunity to trial this lotion.

I was more than a little excited to trial the Body Intensive 7 days Honey Soothing lotion for Beauty Heaven, having had some recent bad experience with lotions that weren't suited to my pretty sensitive skin. The first thing I noticed was the rockin' curves this bottle had! Made me think if Nigella Lawson had a body lotion it would be in a bottle like this. The Big "soothing lotion" in the centre also comforted me a little, and the L-Bifidus claims intrigued me, something I've only ever seen on my afternoon yoghurt snack!

When I opened the bottle and stuck my nose in to have a sniff, it smelt like heaven! Sweet without being overly sickly. I applied a little to my hand to check the consistency, and it was a little thinner then the lotion I have been using, and also felt nice and light, something that doesn't normally go hand in hand with a soothing lotion.

I applied it to my arms to begin with, and it felt great going on, nice and smooth, very easy to apply. It absorbed quickly, by the time i'd gotten to the top of my arm the wrist area was totally absorbed.

I checked out the feel of my skin after an hour, and it still felt smooth and like I'd just applied the lotion. The next morning (I had applied it at night) it had lost a little of that feeling, but I didn't feel a need to apply the lotion straight away like normal. The scent also lightly lingered on my skin, every time I smell myself I get a little smile because it is a gorgeous scent that appeals to me greatly. Today, after a week of using it, my skin feels, well, normal. For me that is great! It's normally flaky, with really dry patches, redness, all the hallmarks of sensitive skin in a weather change. But I honestly have no complaints about my skin.

The big question - Would I buy it instead of my normal body moisturiser? I don't know. But I do know that I have found a new weapon in my winter battle for smooth, moisturised skin!

Smooth and soothe!!

Thank you to BH for allowing me to trial this product as part of the TT.
The Garnier Intensive 7 days Body Lotion is a generously sized – 400ml of product that boasts L-bifidus and honey to help nourish dry and sensitive skin.
The packaging is a green plastic, easy to squeeze bottle with flip top cap. The design is durable yet functional, but I would like to see a flat top of the cap for ease of standing upside down when the bottle is nearing empty.
The lotion itself is quite creamy, but easy to spread across the skin, quick to absorb and smells deliciously of …you guessed it – honey. Its fragrance is not over empowering or sickly sweet, all I’m missing are the bees and honeycomb.
This product let my skin soothed, smooth and silky with no greasy residue. I have noticed a reduction in flaky dry and eczema-prone skin and there was no irritation I continued to see these results as I used the product daily. Due to the product’s claims of skin being hydrated up to 7 days after application, I also trialled skipping a day of application to see if my skin remained hydrated. However, I noticed tightness and dryness immediately so I don’t agree with this part of the product’s claim.
I would highly recommend this product to those with dry and sensitive skin, but you would need to apply this daily – as with any other body lotion. It’s a steal for only $6.95 a pop for an economically sized bottle, so this baby won’t make your bank account shudder…hooray!

Leg Saver

I have been using this body lotion for a few weeks and have seen fantastic results. My skin is so soft after using the lotion morning and night. The smell is pleasant and the actual lotion is light and easy to rub in.

Soothing Honey

I love the new stylishly moulded shape of Garnier Soothing Lotions. With an easy application flow from the new cap top, it is a practical container that fits easily into any bathroom. The soft scent of honey is pleasant without overpowering and the texture of this cream is silky and rich. My dry skin just loved it and felt moisturised continually as I used it morning and night, especially on legs. I like knowing it contains L-Bifidus and Honey doing good things for my sensitive skin, and the dryness certainly seems improved after a week of regular use. This is a cream I would like to have on hand in every season and I would buy it again..
