Excellent CHEAP moisturiser.

I really love this moisturiser, it's very hydrating, spreads easily and it sinks in really quickly. I have to moisturise my whole body every day as I'm prone to excema and dryness, and this is super quick to use because it needs next to no rubbing in. I've bought it countless times!

Not so great..

After using this product for a few days, I began to get a pimply rash all over my thighs :( also left a residue on my skin, did not feel like it absorbed in, just made a barrier.

Not for sensitive skin

I only recently tried this product after my stocks of the discontinued garnier body, bodyrepair ran out. I have sadly been very disappointed that this is the product which was released to replace bodyrepair.

I have very sensitive skin and after just one application I broke out in an awful rash which has taken a week to recover from.

Hydrating AND non-greasy!

The first time I used this product I borrowed it from a friend. I rubbed it into my arms and legs after a day under winter layers, and the next day I could still feel the difference where I had applied it!

I promptly bought it and have used it ever since. It absorbs in really quickly, but still feels really hydrating without any heavyness. I summer I switch to a lighter one, and it works just as well and NEVER melts.

Really like this

I bought this after trying the honey flavour but not really liking the smell.

I love the smell of this! I also prefer the formula to Palmers as its not as thick. I find Palmers Cocoa Butter too heavy in hot weather as it feels like its melting. This one strikes the right balance as it's a lot lighter.

Will buy again.

Really suited my skin type.

I found the lotion very easy and pleasant to use. My skin really soaked it up without leaving any greasy residue. Lovely fresh fragrance. Great price point so you don't mind using it all over.

Smells nice I guess

It's cheap, but I didn't really see any difference. Especially for a moisturiser that calls itself intensive.

Great Winter Saviour

I have been using this product for about a week now and I tell you what, i have needed it right now! As winter sets in I started to notice how dry my skin was getting in the middle of the night and in the morning and after my shower. Basically i had a lot of dry skin and i was not a fan. So in steps this garnier body cream and i am very thankful.

It has a cocoa butter smell which is less stronger than the palmers one but i love cocoa smell so im not sure i can be reliable. I honestly have smelt much worse fragrances and personally i do not find it the slightest bit strong, also i find the smell wears off really quick and dulls down very much so its not a bother at all.

It is super cheap and is packed full of product.

The results: i have noticed my skin is a thousand times better and i am sticking to this product this winter!!

Greasy and doesn't live up to the claims.

This product left a really unpleasant coating on my skin, and after putting it on my feet under cotton socks at night, I cant say it did anything that any bargain bin cream wouldn't have done. I didn't see any of this lasting hydration either. I quite like the cucumbery smell though, although I can imagine if you didn't it would be a bit strong.

smells gorgeous and inexpensive

I was surprised at the shape of this bottle, a two bump almost camel looking bottle, bright green really drew me in.
It is so pleasant to use, a thinner creamy formul that smells and feels divine.
Im not sue about the 7 days of moisture but i use it every night and wake to beautiful hydrated skin!

Great product BUT overpowering smell

I bought this recently at Target when there was a beauty and skincare sale. I have really enjoyed using this cream as it is a beautifully luxurious thick texture and applies really smooth. It does not leave my skin greasy and moisturises really well. Unlike what the package claims, I don't think it lasts up to 7 days though. I find it hydrates my skin for up to a maximum of 2 days and then I have to re-apply.

I havent noticed any dramatic changes in my skin tone but I still think it is a great product because of its moisturising strength.

The packaging is very nice and the bottle fits comfortably in my hand without falling out.

The only thing that I dont like about this product is the smell, I think this is more of a personal preference rather than a flaw in the product itself. For me the smell is really strong and overpowering. It does fade after a few hours on my skin but I am still not a fan of it, it is just too sweet for my liking.

Given that I hate the smell I will probably think twice before purchasing again although I did love the formula

Gorgeous smell and a moisturiser that leaves you satisfied

Summer is approaching and since i've neglected my skin during Winter, i decided that it was time to buy a good body-butter/body lotion because my skin was dry and sightly scaly looking. I walked into a chemist and found this baby for $3.70! I am a chocolate lover so the cocoa butter immediately appealed to me and i decided to try this lotion.
After i shower, i apply this lotion. The consistency was just like any other cream. It didn't feel sticky or greasy and the smell was glorious. It hydrated my skin very well and i really like this product.

Great daily product

I bought this to try an alternative to the Palmers and was very impressed. Slightly runnier consistency and after a few minutes it has absorbed into my skin almost totally leaving me soft and smooth.

Best I have ever tried

As a woman in my very late 40's and going thru menopause my skin was very dry and full dull, but after using this in just 2 days my skin is lovely and soft and starting to looking some how more younger. I apply this all over my body from top to bottom and have since found that after each use less is needed as the skin is more hydrated. I have tried many brands of the years but I am so in love with this one. I love the smell and the non greasy texture and I also think that the price is very affordable fro every woman and what's more you can get it at your supermarket, but I have to admit that i got mine on clearance at my local supermarket for less than $2.00 well I think that it was worth spending the $2 will be looking at buying more to keep on hand.

A little greasy but ok

I have very dry skin so I thought I would try this one out but unfortunately my skin just drank it dry in less than 12 hours. It did leave my hands feeling greasy and I couldn't get dressed right away like on the ads for me. That said I do have very dry and very sensitive skin so this product may be ok for more 'normal' skin types.

My favourite

This body lotion has become my favourite!! It hydrates my skin so well that I don't need to moisturise my skin every single day - saving time and money. The cocoa butter smell is delicious and it absorbs so well. Honestly, I'd say the hydration lasts me about 4-5 days and even after I've stepped out of the shower my skin feels soft and nourished. I like how Garnier use naturally derived ingredients in their products it's just an added benefit. The huge 400ml bottle will go a long way and will take me well into the summer. This lotion is suitable for all skin types especially dry & dull skin. Will definitely buy another bottle when I run out of it! :)

Super Soft Skin

I purchased this product after seeing the ads and thinking, "there is no way it can be that good". It was on special and so I bought it.
The first time I tried it, I was pretty impressed, the cream is nice and thick and the bottle is easy to hold and squeeze meaning you get a good amount of product each time. The smell is nice, not overly sweet but still good enough that I didn't need to cover it up with perfume.
The next day, after a long day at work both inside in the dry, heated offices and also outside with the wind and freezing cold, my legs were still looked like I just just applied the moisturiser.
I found the product easy to apply, it melted in my skin with no oily or slimy residue and lasted all day and then some!

Love this stuff. Silk application

As soon as you glide the moisturiser over your skin it feels so silky underneath. Smells great. Doesn't leave a greasy film - unless - you put a bit too much on. It says not to use it on the face but always when i'm done rubbing the moisturiser in all over i just dab my face with my hands.

A great lotion

I was pleasantly surprised by this lotion. I'm super picky with body lotions, particularly as I use them going to bed and can't stand anything greasy. But this lotion wasn't greasy at all and unlike other Shea butter lotions the scent wasn't overpowering.

It soaked in easily and was a pleasure to apply. The lotion left my skin looking soft and healthy at a time when the cooler weather was starting to make my shaved legs a bit flakey. On that note the lotion didn't irritate freshly shaved legs at which which is a rarity.

The lotion is lightly scented, but won't clash with any shower gels or perfumes. And it didn't develop a funny smell or sliminess after wear (as I said I'm picky with lotions).

I was fortunate to have plenty of time to test out the lotion as part of the trial team. Although I didn't test out the "7 day" claim I did test out the lotion on an every other day basis and found that my dry body skin remained soft and smooth on the off days. I have a more preferred everyday lotion, but I can see this one becoming a regular treat in my routine, particularly after exfoliating due to it's non-irritating properties.

Another plus about this lotion is the packaging. The bottle is sturdy, stands well, attractive and the unique shape makes it easy to pour even when you've got lotion on your hands and need to to it one handed. You also get a very generous quantity.

If you like shea butter lotions, but need one that is light enough for summer, but rich enough for winter then this one is worth a try. It is proof that " intensive" doesn't have to mean grease slick.

Brighter Skin!

The first thing I did when I received this bottle was open it up and have a sniff, the scent is gorgeous sort of chocolate/coconut reminds of my favorite chocolate cake. It is a very subtle fragrance not overpowering at all.

The bottle is the perfect curvy shape so easy to hold and dispense the lotion, even with slippery hands; I also love the colour of the bottle a really nice green.

The lotion has a lovely creamy texture that absorbs easily into the skin doesn’t leave it feeling greasy or sticky. You only need to use a little bit so I can see this bottle lasting me a long time.

As a test to see if it really does brighten the skin I have only been applying it to my legs and I have definitely noticed a difference in the tone and texture of my skin, it does appear brighter, which makes me think that this is the perfect moisturiser to keep fake tan looking good longer. I apply it in the morning after showering and my skin is still nice and soft that night.

I will definitely keep using this and will also try the rest of the range.

Beautiful Baby Powder Scent & Softer Skin

As soon as I opened this I fell in love with the scent - it was 'love at first smell'. I found the scent to be very relaxing. It's a massive 400ml 'easy-hold' plastic bottle so it will last for a good amount of time even if I continue to slather it on really generously.

The white gel-like cream/lotion is easily squirted out as I squeezed the big bottle and the lid is a flip-top style which snaps back securely after use. The bottle is recyclable.

With regards to hydrating my skin - I did find it made my skin feel very, very soft to touch - even after washing it off my skin remained soft. My parched arms (which, trust me, is the real test for a body moisturiser) became moistened and looked a bit better and felt a lot softer although my arms' dried-out, dehydrated look did not change much. The dryness feeling was lessened a bit there. It was good for my legs which aren't quite as parched as my arms. Nice for my tum, shoulders and back too!

I liked they way it didn't feel greasy on the skin after it had been rubbed in. My skin felt really comfortable and it was fine to get dressed after a few minutes of application. (I put it on mainly straight after my shower.) This is certainly one of this body lotion's strong points.

I really LOVE a lot of Garnier products and I could really love this product too except for the following reason:

Loving most of the ingredients except for the Palm Oil. That's because I am concerned for deforestation and removing of animal habitats from the earth for cheaply sold oils (that's with regards to the Palm Oil). I hope Garnier stops using Palm Oil in this product and replaces it with more 'expensively' produced oils. The Palm Oil in this product is the one reason why I couldn't buy this product after this bottle finishes. I would definitely buy it though if they started using a different 'greener' oil and I would be happy to pay twice as much for this product too if they made the change.

I'm an animal lover and care for animal habitats so that's just my opinion. If I didn't have an issue with Palm Oil I would probably rate this product a 4 star rating.

The lovely ingredients of Shea Butter, Olive Fruit Oil and L-Bifidus were great but the I'm not a fan of Mineral Oil which was one of it's main ingredients also.

I gave this product a three star rating because of it's use of particular oils and that it didn't moisturise as well as some other body moisturisers under $10 that I've used. So I'm comparing it with what I have already tried personally. I do ♥ the scent though and I could smell that for ever!

Garnier’s Body Intensive 7 days Cocoa Butter Conditioning lotion = Soft Hydrated Skin

The Garnier Intensive 7 Days Cocoa Butter Conditioning Lotion is a great everyday body lotion that will leave your skin hydrated soft and overall beautiful. The shape of the bottle is curvy, which makes it easy to pick up even when your hands are slippery. The bottle is quite big which means you get a lot of applications from 1 bottle. For $7.00 this lotion is worth every cent. You don’t need a lot of lotion to get beautifully hydrated skin. A little amount goes a long way. The ingredient that Garnier has used in this range to strengthen and reinforce the skin barriers to fight dryness is L-Bifidus
When I first smelt the Cocoa Butter Conditioning Lotion it had a delightful cocoa aroma that was absolutely divine and smelt good enough to consume. That scent changed once I rubbed it into my skin, it changed to a sweet and lolly-like scent which was very delicious as well. The scent of this lotion is nice and fresh. None of the scents in the Garnier Intensive lotion range are overpowering they are all very subtle which is a lovely feature.
The lotion is non-greasy and it absorbed so quickly into my skin. It has a white texture and with just a few strokes it was in my skin with no residue, I was honestly surprised at how quickly it disappeared. I decided to apply it to only 1 of my legs and leave the other leg without lotion for 24 hours and there was a huge difference. I cannot believe how smooth and hydrated my Garnier Lotion leg was, it was amazing.
The lotion isn’t a thick consistency but isn’t too runny. It was just right for a quick application and that didn’t leave your hands feeling all greasy.
One thing that frustrates me about most lotions is that they don’t absorb quickly into the skin and if you want get into clothes shortly after there is friction and you feel ‘icky’. The Garnier Intensive lotion doesn’t have any problems… 5 minutes after applying the lotion I could get into my skinny jeans with no problems it was fantastic.
I have noticed such a difference to my skin. It is definitely more hydrated and feels a lot softer. This is an excellent everyday product that I highly recommend. This will be great for Winter when skin is dry and cracked. You could easily miss a day and your skin wouldn’t feel dry or sore, which I get after missing a day with other body moisturisers.

It delivers!

With the colder months approaching, it's always handy to have a bottle of body moisturiser to regularly apply on my legs. My legs become very dry, scaly, flaky and rough, so when I read about this product's ability to keep skin feeling hydrated even after 7 days, I was a little skeptical!

The lotion is a nice, creamy texture that is easy to spread and blend and instantly absorbs into my skin. Doesn't feel highly greasy either, but I still had to wash my hands afterwards. I noticed that dry patches cleared up instantly and my skin looked so much healthier and radiant.

It smells of cocoa butter, which I guess is something you either love or hate. At first, it was pleasant and not at all overpowering. Myself, being not a huge fan of creamy fragrances, found it almost sickening and pungent after a while. The scent does linger and stay on your skin.

There aren’t a lot of bad points I can make about its hydration purposes. This product is a fantastic moisturiser that kept my legs feeling smooth and nourished even after a long day. I wanted to test out whether 'its hydration is so intense it can be felt for up to 7 days' claim by not applying any lotion for a week (or what seemed like a week, i.e a long time). I can honestly say that my legs felt more nourished than what would usually be felt if I neglected them for the same amount of time, prior to using this product. In saying that however, you wouldn't expect miracles to happen; the rough and dry patches started creeping back after a couple of days.

For optimum results, I'd recommend daily application - especially with colder months not too far ahead! So overall, this is a very worthy moisturiser if you can get past the smelll.

Perhaps not a 7 ay miracle but worth a try!

I got this on sale at a local pharmacy- I mean, who can pass up a big bottle like this for under $5? I had to try out the 7 day moisturisation claims for myself... its day 3 without moisturiser and i have to admit my skin does feel pretty soft considering the comparative neglect! Nice one!
