Best moisturiser!

This is a fantastic, affordable moisturiser. It is easily absorbed and my skin feels hydrated for the rest of the day. It was a winner for me in summer and I am still using it for winter (adding a few drops of oil to make it a bit richer).
I love the easy pump bottle too, which is helpful during a morning rush!

just an average moisturiser

Nivea is a great brand but I really dont find much differences in body moisturisers,

This one is runny so it can come out of the bottle a little fast. It rubs into the skin really well and while the skin is not completely dry to touch it is as good as.

I have been using it for about 6 months. The smell is neutral and the feeling is soft and in the morning I dont have dry legs after applying this product the night before.

The price is great, a really good cult product... we shall see how it goes into the winter months

Fast absorbing lotion

This is a must have for my family. It is light and absorbs readily into the skin, without leaving any sticky feeling. The smell is a bit too strong for my taste but you get used to it after awhile. I love the pump action as it makes application easy. I apply it all over after bath and keeps skin soft all day long even in winter.

Body Essential

This product is my easy go to product. It glides on easily, doesn't take forever to sink into your skin, feels great, and I can see the difference from dry skin to hydrated skin in a day on my body. There really isn't much that I can say that's bad about it.

The added bonus is it is so affordable, and everyone knows it so you can get it everywhere! If you;re on holiday and need your NIVEA body touch up, it's never too far away.

A great product that I can see myself telling my daughters about!

Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion comes in a slightly contoured plastic bottle that is easy hold because of the contour. It is a simple design which I like.

The cream is a soft, white, creamy and a light weight texture with a very pleasant scent. The scent is of Blue Lotus. It is subtle enough not to overpower any perfume you may want to wear.

Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion contains Hydra IQ technology, an active ingredient that is able to stimulate your skin's own moisture network by activating hydration immediately for non-stop 24 hour hydration.
It also contains Glycerin and Glucose which combine to moisturise and hydrate your skin.

The cream is super easy to apply as it glides on to my skin with ease. I always apply it after my shower.
It always absorbs very quickly into my skin, which I love, and another positive about the cream is there is No greasy residue feeling that you can get with some moisturisers.

After applying the cream, my skin always feels soft, extremely well hydrated, supple and healthy.

I was bought up on a farm and have spent a lot of time outdoors, so I tend to have dry, ageing skin.
I need to be able to use a body moisturiser that continually gives me a high level of hydration. Without this my skin tends to be dry and dull.

I really like Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion, it has added sea minerals to assist with 24 hour hydration.
It works extremely well with my skin.
I have found it to be a high performance, budget body moisturiser.

I would recommend this lovely moisturiser, and will continue to repurchase it. It is also extremely economically priced.

Suitable for Normal to Dry skin.
A MUST HAVE for me.

GLOSSCARS: Express Yourself

Now being a dry skin sufferer since as far back as I can remember (poor brain has to go back a fair way now) I am always on the hunt for a great body lotion. And being time poor, I want it to work pronto, like NOW! So when I started to hear the buzz about Nivea's new Express Hydration Body Lotion, I couldn't help but take notice. I skirted around it at the supermarket, picking it up, putting it down, wondering if it would be just another product that was destined to break my heart. But then at $5.40 I thought it would be a low risk dalliance and if it didn't work out, I told myself, I could easily just walk away without regret. So I did buy it and I'm happy to report I haven't looked back! This is a great body lotion. For starters, it has a fabulous floral (blue lotus) scent and another point in its favour is that it is FAST. Gone are the days of rubbing and rubbing...and rubbing to get the lotion to absorb. This soaks in super quickly (think rain in the Sahara). My skin felt immediately softer and much more hydrated. It's a lightweight, non-greasy formula and it also contains sea minerals which must be good for healing. It's dermatologically tested so it's also good for sensitive skin (like mine). Most importantly, the moisturising properties lasted all day - which really clinched the deal for me.

I really like the look of the bottle too with its crisp white/soothing blue colour combination. It's curved to fit neatly into your hand with a nice easy-grip matte finish. It has a simple flip-lid too that locks into place to avoid spills.

In the end, I've been really impressed with this body lotion and certainly would recommend it to any other disillusioned dry skin sufferer out there. I'm glad now that I gave Nivea Express Hydration a try...this could be the start of beautiful friendship.

Year Round Speedy Hydration.

Super in summer, awesome in winter! Having done a video review for this in the past I couldn’t imagine this not being reviewed again and missing the chance to win a Glosscar which it deserves. NIVEA's Express Hydration body lotion is a light, white coloured consistency containing sea minerals and a lovely soft Blue Lotus scent, which I find refreshes and uplifts my senses without being overpowering. The bottle has a stylish curved shape design that allows it to sit comfortably into my hand while the flip top lid is easy to open making it fast and easy to squeeze out the amount of lotion desired each use, perfect for people short on time like myself.

I have been using this for over 6 months now and every other day or when I feel I need extra nourishment I apply a small amount of this of a morning to slightly damp skin after showering and find that it spreads with minimum effort, absorbs within seconds and doesn't leave my normal to dry skin feeling thickly coated or greasy. Its new Hydra IQ formula keeps my skin feeling hydrated, soft and moisturised all day long, It doesn’t wear away and leave me with even drier skin later on like a lot of moisturisers do. Often after using other moisturisers I find when I shower next that it leaves my skin feeling greasy when the water contacts my skin but NIVEA Express hydration Body lotion doesn't do this. It absorbs into my skin quickly which means I can dress straight after applying and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and comfortable all day. The lotion "supports skins own water channels to enhance (your) natural moisturisation." I can see and feel this difference. This lotion definitely works differently to other lotions I have used. Used once daily is enough for my skin to stay feeling moisturised. After forgetting to apply it for a couple mornings to my legs I found that the skin still felt more hydrated, smoother, softer and less dry than before I had used this lotion. Its obvious that this 24hour Hydra IQ seems to work as my skin still maintained a balanced feel all over.

I am enjoying using this lotion as moving between seasons my skin becomes a little drier and out of control but this once a day lotion has made it simple and fast for me to keep my skin feeling lovely and soft while also giving it a more radiant, hydrated, healthier look. It means I can say goodbye to dry, papery skin and hello to a gorgeous moisturised me! Long term my skin has remained balanced without any obvious dry areas that often appear thanks to the heat, humidity, cold and all those environmental factors that can cause havoc to those with sensitive skin like mine. Only needing a small amount of lotion every use makes this well priced for a body lotion that can add so much extra moisture back to the skin so fast, No wonder its called Express Hydration. Having used this lotion for many months already I can see myself using this lotion well into the future to keep my skin soft and supple. It’s a budget friendly, effective formula, Thankyou NIVEA for another reliable moisturiser that does what it says and restores moisture like it intends to. This is one that I keep happily popping into my supermarket trolley or priceline basket knowing it works!

Soft and Supple skin

Nivea always make great body lotions and this one is not an exception. It contains hydra-IQ technoligy which means it is able to stimulate the skin's moisture network, and activates hydration which provides 24 hours moisturisation. Nivea claims that this body lotion not only moisturises from outside but from inside as well and it really does what it promises.

The packaging is quite similar to all other nivea products with a flip flop lid and the bottle has slight curve that makes it easier to hold as it perfectly fits in my palm.

Body lotion is not runny and not very thick either that makes it easy to use and spread. It is not greasy or sticky and absorbs very quickly in my skin. I apply it directly after I shower and it make my skin very soft, supple and smooth.

I also noticed that some of the dry patches on my hands were gone since I started using this lotion so it really does get thumbs up from me.

Soft, smooth skin!

I was so glad to find this lived up to all the lovely reviews! I really found a difference in my skin after only a few days use. It's a lovely smooth cream that absorbs and dries easily and quickly, without any greasiness or stodginess in terms or texture. I have alot of scratches, bruises and scars on my legs from sport and general clumsiness :P, but was so pleased to find this helped to soothe them a little and reduce the harshness of the marks. I did think the shape of the bottle was a little pointless at first, but like others have mentioned, it makes the bottle easier to hold, which is a really nice detail. Overall, I'm really loving the Express Hydration! It's so moisturising I don't even have to use it everyday (I do every two days or so), which stretches an already budget price product. A beauty basic staple for sure.

Amazing! - Glosscars

I was lucky enough to be sent a bottle of this by nivea and I'm glad I was because it's one of those products that I probably just would have walked right past. There is nothing flashy or eyecatching about the packaging but it is functional. The tapered bottle allows it to be gripped easily even with greasy hands. When your getting down towards the bottom of the bottle you can turn it upside down and it sits easily on the counter so you can get the last little bit out. I really love the smell, soft, subtle clean. It won't compete with any perfume you wear. I only apply this product at night after I shower and find that's all I need to. It really does provide 24 hour moisturisation. It absorbs quickly and easily into the skin so you know it's working deep down and not just sitting on the surface of the skin to make you think your skin is being moisturised. The best thing I've found is that it has helped even out the slight pigmentation I have on the tops of my arms. I suffered from body acne during adolescence and have some small acnes marks on the tops of my arms. As I've been using this, their appearance has lessened. Another amazing product by Nivea and I reckon I will be using it for a long time to come

Body Beautiful!

I've grown up with Nivea, so I was very excited to try this newbie to their range....
so, my first thought was that the packaging was very cute, I like how the shape of the bottle fits neatly into your hand. The body lotion has a lovely soft scent, nothing too overpowering or cloying. It has a very nice creamy feeling when you apply it, and it just sinks into my skin like its loving it! I only needed to use a small amount as a little does smooth over a lot of skin.
After only a few short weeks I could see the difference in my skin, how it felt and looked! My shins especially, no more flaky snake skin look for me!
No wonder Nivea has been around for years, they keep on coming up with amazing products, thanks Nivea, you've done it again.... :)

A tall drink of water for my skin!

Nivea is definitely on the leader board when it comes to great body products. I have never met a Nivea moisturiser I haven't liked! I first got to try Express Hydration in a free trial but that little bottle got me hooked on this fantastic product and I have since bought 2 of the 400mL ones.
I use it every day and can afford to be very generously slathering it all over my body because it comes in at under $10 - what a bargain! Having said that, you don't need to use half a bottle each time because the lotion is rather easily spread and covers a large area with not too much product. The lotion has a cool and fresh feeling on the skin, not heavy or sticky at all. It melts effortlessly into the skin, leaving it feeling soft, hydrated and best of all your skin is not greasy after applying. It has a fresh but mild scent which I quite like, it is not overpowering like some of the heavier scents that body lotions and creams can have.
Another fantastic thing about this product is that the skin stays hydrated all day. It is really important for me at the moment because I'm pregnant and most of my body is either growing or swelling! If my skin is at all dry I start itching like crazy and the strecthing can also lead to stretch marks. When I apply this lotion after my shower in the morning I don't feel dry or itchy at all and I have so far (7 months into my pregnancy) avoided getting any stretch marks at all. I like that I didn't have to spend a fortune on special potions to do this!
One last argument for persuading you to run, not walk, into your local store and snap up this product (as if you haven't been convinced already!) - the pump top of the bottle allows for fuss and mess-free application. The only downside about pump packs is that it gets a little tricky getting the last bits out when you get to the bottom of the bottle, but just do what I do and close the pump, turn the bottle upside down and just unscrew it to get those last few drops out. Otherwise you can just buy a new one, given this is such a bargain buy and you don't feel the need to squeeze every last drop out to get your money's worth, I'd go right ahead!

Super hydrating

Nivea create incredible body lotions and the new Express Hydration Body Lotion for normal to dry skin is incredible, it has an IQ - of non-stop 24-hour hydration! I applied the body lotion about 10 minutes after my shower (any earlier and lotion just feels sticky). On dry skin it really does absorb quickly, dry to the touch and leaves the skin so soft, smooth and nourished all day with a gorgeous scent of Sea Minerals and Blue Lotus. I definitely could tell my dry skin had transformed, it was hydrated all day, it felt extremely comfortable and even after a shower I could still feel the lotion realeasing moisture to my skin. Love Nivea flip top bottles, so slimline and easy to carry in a bag and you can't go past the amazing price as a little of this lotion goes a long way. Thanks BH, I really love this body lotion and I think it will do wonders at winter time also!

Quick drying, Non greasy body moisturiser - glosscars review

Nivea's Express hydration body moisturiser is designed to be a fast acting moisturiser, it contains Nivea's Hydra IQ technology that is designed to stimulate the skins cells allowing moisture to flow better from cell to cell.
It comes in 2 sizes 250ml ( RRP $5.40) and 500 ml ( RRP $7.99). The bottle is the new slightly curved shape that some of the other Nivea products now have, the curve fits neatly into the palm of your hand and it has a flip top lid that the product easily squeezes out of.
I have only been using Express Hydration for one week so it's a bit hard to gauge the long term results, but first impressions are good. It has a nice light scent that is not overpowering, the moisturiser is light in texture and spreads easily and absorbs quickly. Straight away it leaves my skin feeling softer, smoother and more moisturised without and greasiness or residue left behind. You apply twice a day morning and night, it can be used directly after a shower to help lock in moisture, and is an all over body moisturiser ( not face)
The affordable price and convenience of being able to buy Nivea in most department stores make this product a great buy and one that's easy to get hold of when you run out. I will definately consider buying it again when I run out.

Glosscar Review

Express hydration smells amazing (blue lotus scent) and when you apply it, it doesn’t feel greasy at all. As the name suggests, my skin felt immediately hydrated. It feels softer already and I’ve only been using it for a day. After trying this one, I really want to try the touch of happiness lotion.

Calm and soft

I am pleasantly impressed by this one from Nivea, and the fact that I got it for free in there recent promotion of 10,000 bottles to give away makes it all that much more special.

The cream has a lovely fresh scent to it and it comes out of the bottle really easily (can be a bit runny for some people but I think that makes it a whole lot easier to smooth over the skin).

The design of the bottle contours to your hand and makes handling easy. The flip top lid means no more fumbling around with screw top lids so you will not spill any of the lotion.

The lotion itself rubs easily into the skin and its gentle enough to use on your entire body. The smell is not overpowering so it can be applied both morning and night to give you a lasting freshness.
While I am not entirely sure that it lasts 24 hours, I did notice my skin was less dry in the morning, although I still like to apply both times so that my skin is sure to be hydrated.

Cheap buy and that is important coz we girls go through moisturises quite fast if we used it all over.

This is a body moisturiser with Hydra IQ technology which stimulates the moisture network to act from within and add extra hydration. It comes in a contoured, easy to hold container for $5.40.
It has a subtle, pleasant scent, very soft light weight texture and glides on easily. On my skin it absorbed very quickly leaving my skin feeling richly hydrated and so soft. Loved the level of hydration that it gave my skin.
For the price I think that Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion is a little luxury we can all afford to have and I will certainly purchase again. Nivea keep coming up with products that deliver. I guess thats why they are celebrating their 100th birthday.

100% Express

I used this product on my dry skin that needed a good hydration and FAST! so this product was the perfect product. After about thirty seconds, it had been absorbed by my skin and after about two minutes, there was no residue left on my skin. It felt totally normal. I am very happy with the results and after applying every few hours for five day, my friends and family started seeing that my skin was smoother, less scaley and more like... Normal Skin and it is a product that is so cheap for such big results.

Very nourishing

Beautiful body nourishment on a budget! Great value for money not going to be breaking anyones bank easy to pick up anytime and wont pull on the purse strings!!! Love that it is only lightly scented it is not overpowering just a lovely light fresh smell.

A little amount seems to spread a long way, I only got the small bottle and been using it everynight for two weeks and still have some left in the bottle so I was mighty surprised. It is very nourishing in the morning my skin still feels soft as though it still has moisture locked in, which usually it doesnt feel as smooth, sinks in instantly I applied to all of my body apart from my face and havent had any reactions as I tend sometimes to have sensitive skin, no reaction here!

Definately re-purchasing it is great and has so many benefits to me and my lifestyle. I apply to all of my body after my nightly shower minus my face.

lovely hydrated skin

it smells amazing and does wonders for your skin. it soaks in to the skin straight away leaving it smooth and looking great. i used it after shaving and it gave my legs the softest feeling. it hydrates them straight away and gets rid of that dry look. i used it on sun burn as well and found it helped alot as i didnt peel or get itchy even though my burning was quiet bad.

Light & Hydrating

This is a nice moisturiser from Nivea. It is light & running to apply and absorbs to my legs fast. I use it after getting out of the shower and has a nice faint smell to it. It isn't very sticky which is great, but not as creamy as I like my body lotions.

Excellent hydration - quick and long lasting too!

I received this product as part of the Nivea Express Hydration FB giveaway. I'm a person who showers at least twice a day because I hit the gym during my lunch break at work. Having a 45 minute workout and then quickly trying to recreate the look I did in the morning can be quite a task especially if the look is complicated and I'm hard pressed for time. I sometimes have to skip moisturizing after hitting the gym and this can (and has) lead to disastrous results especially in winter - dry flaky skin that's itchy and thirsty. Thankfully, Nivea has the answer-the express hydration lotion is a life saver. Just a little amount can be quite rewarding to your skin - it quickly absorbs into the skin and lasts the whole day. I absolutely love this lotion and have been using it consistently for the past month and the results are clear for all to see (well, not at the moment because I'm all rugged up for winter). Even my sister has noticed the difference and is now sneakily using this wonderful lotion. The best part is that this can be used by all irrespective of what skin type you have and still gives you the same result - wonderfully hydrated skin that lasts all day.

wonderfully soft

I found this moisturiser really absorbs well into my skin. I've used it now for 2 weeks and my skin is so soft, softer than it's every been. I don't have to wait too long to put my clothes back on after using it.

AMAZING!

This formula is unlike any other moisturiser! Its gel-like and it stays on forever. Winter is unkind to my skin, the dryness and coldness leave my skin cracked and red. This stuff has healed me right up! I used some on my face is really bad red areas and voila! fixed right up in a few days :) Thank you NIVEA!

Lovely!

I had very dry and dull skin before I started using this body lotion, after a month of using it, I noticed my skin was visibly smoother, and it tip top condition! I then switched over to the Irresistably Smooth by Nivea!
I recommend applying this as soon as you get out of the shower! It has a quicker effect as it goes deeper into your pores. It's fantastic!

Very light and feels nice :)

I received my bottle of this moisturiser from Nivea's facebook giveaway. I was so excited when this arrived and couldn't wait to try it! It is quite easy to get out of the bottle, but I think I would prefer the pump bottle more. The consistency is quite runny and light compared to other body moisturisers. What I love about this is because you don't need much product because it is so easy to smooth across you skin and absorbs very quickly - it's really lovely and light! It almost feels like water on your skin, and it also doesn't give me a lot of hydration. My skin is quite dry and it just isn't moisturising enough for me. The scent smells fresh and great, but it's a bit too strong for my liking. But I really love this lotion, and I would love to get the large pump bottle to place on my desk - I have to finish my small bottle first!!

Great for winter

I love this moisturizer. It is really nourishing, and does not leave a sticky residue. It absorbs into the skin really quickly and leaves it soft and shiny. I apply it after I shower all over my body and my skin has never felt softer. I also, use it to remove my eye make up. It works wonders

Fabulous Everday Moisturiser

This moisturiser is by far the best body moisturiser I have used. The bottle is shaped for easy gripping, and doesn't slip out of my hands whilst moisturising my body which is a big plus and it smells soo nice and fresh and pretty, but the scent doesn't linger either, which I also like otherwise it would interfere with my perfume.
The moisturiser itself is very creamy, but is not too thick and it just glides onto the skin and is absorbed almost straight away. So no more standing around waiting til your moisturiser sinks in before getting dressed, you can get dressed right away which is a bonus in winter. I wasn't a huge fan of nivea before trying this lotion, but now I am a convert and won't be going back. A job well done Nivea!!

i have used this everyday for 2 weeks and i have noticed a difference. my favourite thing about this moisuriser is how fast it absorbs, but the time ive done my second leg, my first leg is dry!! its is very moisurising which i was surprised by as i usually have to wait for gluggy thick moisureises to sink in to get the same effect!

Great!

I love this! It's inexpensive and leaves my skin feeling lovely and smooth, and super soft. Not only is it easy to apply, but it absorbs into my skin almost immediately, which is the best part. And while it's very hydrating, it's also not too thick, which makes it perfect for me as my skin isn't that dry.

Alright...for the price

I got this for free so I can't really complain too much however I just can't seem to like it. It stings my legs if I use it just after shaving so I tend to use it the night before I plan to shave them. While it does make my skin really soft and smooth, it also leaves a very annoying stickiness that doesn't go away until you wash it off. I also feel like it's quite watery so can be a bit hard to apply sometimes. If you're on a tight budget then i'd recomend this as you can usually pick up a large bottle for under $5 on special but otherwise i'd pass on this.

Greasy

Hmmm, I'm not very happy with this product.
The scent is quite average, just like any other moisturizing cream.
And when applying it left my hands quite greasy afterwards even after washing and wiping on a towel.
It didn't sink in quickly at all and didn't sink in at all through out the day.
It left grease marks on my chairs and all I could feel on my legs was watery grease.
It did however give me softer skin when the bottle was finished but I'm not going to be buying this again.

Very Smooth & Silky Body Lotion

I am a great Nivea fan and use a lot of their products. I was very happy to receive from them this lovely body lotion to try. I have sensitive skin so I wanted to try this especially on my legs. I have very dry patches where some of my ulcers have healed but left my skin patchy. This will help to reduce breakdown and reformation of painful ulcers.

Amazing Hydration

Express hydration smells amazing (blue lotus scent) and when you apply it, it doesn’t feel greasy at all. As the name suggests, my skin felt immediately hydrated. It feels softer already and I’ve only been using it for a day. After trying this one, I really want to try the touch of happiness lotion.

Good Value

Having used this 'miracle' body lotion for 2 weeks now on my legs, I have to say I haven't noticed any miraculous difference to my skin, which is prone to dryness. It is quite a thin lotion, so be careful that you don't drip it everywhere when applying it. It goes on nicely, absorbs easily, and is so lightly fragranced (Blue Lotus) that it's barely noticeable. It leaves a greasy-feeling residue on my hands which washes off easily, so no problem there. This is a good everyday body lotion that is excellent value at $5.40 for a 250ml bottle, and a little lotion goes a long way. Also, the list of ingredients is quite short, so can only assume that is a good thing?!

Nivea obsessed

Nivea products have always been used through my family, especially the creme, for generations. Ive never really been unterested with nivea like the rest of my family has. I love free samples, especially beauty related, and when heard about nivea on facebook are giving away the nivea express hydration body lotions to trial, I wanted to try it out. When I first opened the package the bottle looked simple and not in your face, which I thought it might not be that great. However, yes theres a however, when I first opened the bottle I smelt; I always do with lotions. First thought, OMG AMAZING! Tried it out on my skin and it left this silkiness and smoothness but it didnt leave a stickiness and absorbed so well. Everytime I give a hug, kiss or greet someone; they say to me I smell incredible... I love nivea now and am seriously obsessed like the rest of my family! :)

new favourite lotion

LOVE THIS LOTION! It soaks into your skin instantly but leaves it soft and smooth all day long. Smells amazing!! It's nice, thick and creamy. I cannot rave about this new lotion enough! It is amazing! The packaging isn't bulky, it's a nice slim bottle. Nivea, you've done it again, great work!

Beautifully Soft Skin

I was a bit sceptical when I got this product for free from nivea to try,and have since been shocked that it really really works. It has a lovely scent which just lightly lingers, it's not overpowering or offputting either. My skin is left feeling soft and smooth all day, even the day after it's still soft!

Feels like velvet and nourished the skin.

I really am enjoying the Nivea express lotion. I liked the bottle and packaging. It looks nice, clean and fresh. The lotion is quite thin but not runny. It has a really nice scent. I found that the lotion had a really nice consistency. The lotion was absorbed into my skin quickly and felt like silk. I really like the feeling. Feeling my skin now, it is nice and soft. This lotion is great for nourishing the skin. The price is great as well. I think this product is a 'winner' and I give it 5 stars

instant hydration!

loving this lotion, 10 minutes after applying to what were incredably dry legs now look lovely and hydrated! im amazed! i got the 250 ml so the bottle is great to chuck in the handbag and a good price too, the lotion isnt to thick either so is easily applied. i did notice the smell isnt to pleasant in my opinion but its better then scaly legs by far. would buy again!

Well, ihad really dry skin, cracking and stuff. When i first aplied it, it was really liquidy, it absorbed quite quickly, but i personally, was left with an oily after feel. Umm, my skin does appear less crackly, but not super hydrating like i thought. I bought it for half price i think, 3.50$ for 400mLs at coles. If i were to buy i t again i would try something else from the nivea range.

Trial Team Review

Love the contoured bottle - it didn't once slip out of my hands, even when they had lotion on them, and I'm known to be a bit of a klutz sometimes! The scent seemed lovely and subtle, but I've had a pretty bad cold for the last few weeks, so it could actually be a lot stronger than I perceived.

The lotion itself is light and almost half-way between a cream and a gel. It absorbs really well and left my skin feeling soft and silky. Despite the fact it's targeted towards those with normal to dry skin, those with oily skin (like me!) will no doubt find it mosturising without being greasy. I love the fact it doesn't have parabens and the list of ingredients isn't ridiculously long. I'll almost certainly purchase this when my current bottle runs out - it'll be too easy to throw in with my grocery shopping, being available in many supermakets!

A bit sticky....

I couldn't review this before today as I received it ten days ago and needed to use it for 7 days then without for 3.

At first this seems like your regular body lotion but once it soaked into my skin I realised it made my skin feel a little sticky which I didn't really care for. I did like that it didn't sit on my skin and feel greasy and penetrated well but the actual "moisturisation" was negligible to me. I used used this faithfully for 7 days immediately after showering while my skin was still slightly damp. For three days I went without using this and while I didn't notice any actual dryness in my skin it also didn't feel any more hydrated than it normally feels.

The bottle itself is very "no frills" and has a slightly masculine look which isn't something that would ordinarily grab by attention on the supermarket shelf. The scent is also unisex but leaning towards masculine which I didn't like at all.

Overall, a decent product but due to the high chemicals in this and the fact that it hasn't got too many natural ingredients I most likely would not -re-purchase this.

Trial Team Review - Nivea Express Hydration

I was absolutely wrapped to be part of the trial team for this product because Nivea is one of my favourite budget beauty brands. The first thing I take into account when choosing a moisturising product is its fragrance, as I can sometimes experience sensitivities (usually in the form of a headache) if a fragrance disagrees with me. This cream does have quite a strong fragrance, but in my opinion it is a pleasant one. However, because of it’s strength I imagine it might clash with perfume. As I generally shower and moisturise before going to bed at night, this didn’t pose a problem for me because the fragrance had died down substantially by the next morning.

The texture of this cream isn’t as ‘milky’ as some of the other Nivea body products I’ve used in the past. Although it’s creamy, it has a slight gel-like quality to it. On application, the product absorbs quite well so it didn’t leave me feeling oily. It did however leave my skin feeling a bit tacky (sticky) for a little while, which indicated that it was staying on the skin’s surface rather than absorbing fully.

As for the hydration factor, I would have to say that it was good, but not great. Although the packaging says that the product is suitable for normal to dry skin, I think it would better for skin that’s not too dry.

The white and blue curvy packaging is sleek and smart. I really like the way Nivea body creams are in a squeeze bottle with a flat lid so you can at least turn the bottle on its head when it’s close to empty (unlike those pesky pump bottles!). It looks nice in the bathroom too!

Another huge positive of this cream is the fact that it doesn’t contain any paraben preservatives. In my opinion this is really important when it comes to body creams, as we use them in fairly large amounts on a daily basis.

I’d have to say that Nivea Express Hydration is a really high quality product for its low RRP and would definitely recommend this cream to those with normal skin who like their body cream to have a lovely scent.

Express Hydration Body Lotion

I was lucky enough to be given this to trial for the TT, but unfortunately my product didn't arrive until 3 days agao, so I've only been using it for 3 days....
so, my first thought was that the packaging was very cute, I like how the shape of the bottle fits neatly into your hand. The body lotion has a lovely soft scent, nothing too overpowering or cloying. It has a very nice creamy feeling when you apply it, and it just sinks into my skin like its loving it! I only needed to use a small amount as a little does smooth over a lot of skin.
In the 3 days that I have been using it, my skin does seem to look a lot smoother & also feels softer, so I'll continue to use it daily for another week and then resubmit another review....all in all, I have been enjoying using the body lotion and can't wait to see if my skin continues to look improved....

Silky smooth and hydration plus.

The packaging is really distinctive, it fits perfectly into your hand, which makes it easy to judge how much moisturiser to pour out. The smelli is like a beautifully scented bouquet of flowers, not too strong or overpowering. Just enough to keep it lingering.

Excellent - must have for the body

This is a great body lotion which applies really easily and absorbs quickly without leaving any oily residue.

The packaging is perfect in a 250ml bottle that is easy to hold and handle. It smells great.

The uniqueness of this product is the Hydra IQ which allows the lotion to keep the skin hydrated and moisturised 24hrs. I really did feel that my skin was soft, smooth and hydrated for 24hrs - definitely my number one body lotion now.

Express Hydration with Beautiful Blue Lotus Scent.

NIVEA's Express Hydration body lotion is a light, white coloured consistency containing sea minerals and a lovely soft scent called Blue Lotus, which I find refreshing and uplifting to my senses without being overpowering. The bottle has a stylish curved shape design that allows it to sit comfortably into my hand while the flip top lid is easy to open making it fast and easy to squeeze out the amount of lotion desired each use.
I have been using this for a week now and daily I apply a small amount of this of a morning to slightly damp skin after showering and find that it spreads with minimum effort, absorbs within seconds and doesn't leave my skin normal to dry skin feeling thickly coated or greasy. It's new Hydra IQ formula keeps my skin feeling hydrated, soft and moisturised all day long. Often after using other moisturisers I find when I shower next that it leaves my skin feeling greasy when the waer contacts my skin but NIVEA Express hydration Body lotion doesn't do this. It absorbs into my skin quickly which means I can dress straight after applying and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and comfortable all day. The lotion "supports skins own water channels to enhance (your) natural moisturisation."
This lotion definitely works differently to other lotions I have used. Used once daily is enough for my skin to stay feeling moisturised. After forgetting to apply it for a couple mornings to my legs I found that the skin still felt more hydrated, smoother, softer and less dry than before I had used this lotion. Its obvious that this 24hour Hydra IQ seems to work as my skin still maintained a balanced feel all over. I am enjoying using this lotion as moving between seasons my skin becomes a little drier and out of control but this once a day lotion has made it simple and fast for me to keep my skin feeling lovely and soft while also giving it a more radiant, hydrated, healthier look. It means I can say goodbye to dry, papery skin and hello to a gorgeous moisturised me! Long term I can guess that the results would be even more noticeable. Only needing a small amount of lotion every use makes this well priced for a body lotion that can add so much extra moisture back to the skin so fast, No wonder its called Express Hydration. I can see myself using this lotion well into the future to keep my skin soft and supple.

Simple

I trialed the nivea express hydration body lotion, I found the packaging very plain and and had a summery coconut scent to it that is quite pleasant.The cream is light and absorbs quickly into the skin. I think this product is more suited to maintaing the skins hydration as long as you don't have very dry skin to begin with.My skin remained soft even when I didn't apply it the next day. I think the price is great for the size of this product and it does exactly what it says it will . I personally wouldn't buy this product because I like to moisturize as a treat and like something a little more luxurious but for a simple everyday moisturizer it's a great little product.

My skin's never felt like this before

First impressions when I opened the package, I really liked the bottle it looks fresh, clear and easy to read as well. The lotion has a lovely fresh fragrance. Also note that the lotion’s not overly thick. Just to have a quick try I rubbed a little bit into my hands. At first it sort of felt greasy rubbing the lotion into my hands, but the lotion was quickly absorbed into my skin. I definitely noticed the difference in my hands almost straight away. They feel so much more soft and supple than they did before. Even the ends of my fingers are shiny and smooth.
The NIVEA Express Hydration Body Lotion was so easy to use. After a lovely warm shower I lightly dried myself then applied the lotion. I squeezed a tiny amount onto my hands and started with my legs first, then the same to my arms and my body. It feels so good going into the skin. My skin felt so moisturized and so supple to touch straight away. I don’t think my skin on my body has ever felt like this before. I love the feeling of my skin now. The lotion had an instant effect. I only got to use it for 4 days, so I haven’t got the chance to see how long the hydrated feeling last after 7 days of use. But I really think the hydrated feeling will last longer than 3 days.

Express Hydration

Nivea's Express hydration body moisturiser is designed to be a fast acting moisturiser, it contains Nivea's Hydra IQ technology that is designed to stimulate the skins cells allowing moisture to flow better from cell to cell.

It comes in 2 sizes 250ml ( RRP $5.40) and 500 ml ( RRP $7.99). The bottle is the new slightly curved shape that some of the other Nivea products now have, the curve fits neatly into the palm of your hand and it has a flip top lid that the product easily squeezes out of.

I have only been using Express Hydration for one week so it's a bit hard to gauge the long term results, but first impressions are good. It has a nice light scent that is not overpowering, the moisturiser is light in texture and spreads easily and absorbs quickly. Straight away it leaves my skin feeling softer, smoother and more moisturised without and greasiness or residue left behind. You apply twice a day morning and night, it can be used directly after a shower to help lock in moisture, and is an all over body moisturiser ( not face)

The affordable price and convenience of being able to buy Nivea in most department stores make this product a great buy and one that's easy to get hold of when you run out. I will definately consider buying it again when I run out.

Super Hydrating

Nivea create incredible body lotions and the new Express Hydration Body Lotion for normal to dry skin is incredible, it has an IQ - of non-stop 24-hour hydration! I applied the body lotion about 10 minutes after my shower (any earlier and lotion just feels sticky). On dry skin it really does absorb quickly, dry to the touch and leaves the skin so soft, smooth and nourished all day with a gorgeous scent of Sea Minerals and Blue Lotus. I definitely could tell my dry skin had transformed, it was hydrated all day, it felt extremely comfortable and even after a shower I could still feel the lotion realeasing moisture to my skin. Love Nivea flip top bottles, so slimline and easy to carry in a bag and you can't go past the amazing price as a little of this lotion goes a long way. Thanks BH, I really love this body lotion and I think it will do wonders at winter time also!

Body Heaven

I received this product as part of the Trial Team. Although the instructions were to try for 7 days and then stop for 3 (to see if the hydrated feeling continues) I only have a few days to review by the due date. The body lotion is a light cream substance which does blend into the skin easier and leaves it feeling very smooth and non greasy. I am not big on using body lotions but I like this product as it really absorbs well.

Very hydrating

I was lucky enough to be part of the trial team (thanks heaps BH) and I was really happy to be trialing this particular product. It has simple blue and white packaging that make it appear it would be really soothing which it was. It has a subtle fresh smell and felt silky smooth on the skin, it absorbed instantly! It was super easy to use, you just need to squirt a little of the product out of the bottle and it made me feel instantly fresh and clean. Also, long term wise I felt my skin was more hydrated, definitely not as dry. I most certainly will be using this product again and give it a 5 star thumbs up!

Goopy hands no more!

I absolutely love how quickly this absorbs into my skin. It takes literally less than 10 seconds for my skin to be dry to the touch, meaning goopy cream hands no more! I hate applying cream on my hands and having to worry about not touching anything after because there's still residue on my hands, but no more.

It smells divine, the packaging is strong but not difficult to open, and the product really works to keep my skin hydrated, soft, and smooth. I used this after shaving my legs and it didn't feel as prickly afterwards. Great product.

Nivea not greasy, powerful scent

Very first thing I noticed was the very heady smell which is said to be Sea Minerals and Blue Lotus Scent. I have to say the first thing I thought of was that it reminded me of sunscreen. I noted the lighter consistency than other Nivea lotions. It absorbed easily when massaged in and didn't leave any shine or greasy feeling that I would normally get from using some of the other Nivea body lotions. My skin felt instantly softer and smoother to the touch. It also seemed plumper after using it.
I applied it daily after showering so that it would better absorb. When I hadn't used it on one day, the following day I noticed the difference that my skin was not so softened to touch and already beginning to feel dry. I did have a bit of a problem with the scent when it interfered with the perfume I wore. Though I would still use it for the days when I wasn't going to be using perfume as it really has a scent all it's own.
