Dove - Visible Beauty Revitalising Beauty Body Lotion

Love it!

I like putting a little bit on at night actually. It's like a treat to massage into the skin and the scent relaxes me.

And when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels soft and hydrated. It looks good but to be honest, I mainly love it for how it makes my skin actually feel. It's a relaxing lotion :)

Light, non-greasy, beautiful smell

As a mum of 3, finding the extra time to moisturise my whole body is a luxury! This body lotion however, is perfect because it absorbs almost instantly. It's lovely and smooth, non-greasy and very light, so virtually no rubbing in required. Given this, it may not suit people with extra-dry skin, as it's not extremely rich. I found it hydrating enough for me though and my skin felt soft all day.
I also LOVE the smell of this lotion! It smells like an expensive department store body moisturiser. But, it's not strong enough to overpower your perfume. I would definitely purchase this product again.

A nice lotion

Im more of a fan of body butters of the thickness but i didnt hesitate to test this lotion out. Its quite thick for a lotion and absorbs fast. The smell is amazing, i catch myself constantly smelling my hands and arms, as weird as that maybe. It moisturised well but i need a heavy stronger moisturiser.

Another Great Body Lotion from Dove

Dove always offers affordable and quality products that no beauty can resist. This Visible Beauty Nourishing Body Lotion is one of my favourite. It smells beautifully nice, moisturise my skin, giving me a lovely lovely skin that is soft and smooth. I especially love to use it after shower. The beautiful scent lingers even before I go to bed. I suppose none of us will refuse to smell nice before going to bed, right?

good

the smell of this product was too strong for me. however, as i have very dry skin on my legs, this lotion absorbed so quickly into my skin as soon as I applied it. i also like the design of the bottle. smart and creative :)

Hit the nail on the head

The packaging on this one has been well thought out. It's nice and clean with a great colour combination, and the grooves on the sides!!! The grooves fit my hand perfectly, it doesn't even slide out of a hand covered in moisturiser!
The protuct itself absorbs quickly and i feel moisturised all day. The scent is minimal and doesn't interfere with purfumes etc. I will purchase this product again.

Not So Nourishing.

I haven’t used Dove Visible Beauty Body Lotion before, usually I will use Vaseline or Palmers for my body moisturisers. I was happy to trial this but wasn’t very impressed by it. It comes in a large white bottle, a generous size and the design is quite simple in lovely brown and greens. It has a flip top lid that sits at the bottom of the bottle which will stop most wastage from occurring. The flat bottom also makes storing convenient. The smell of this moisturiser got to me from the very second I rubbed it into my skin and once there, I couldn’t get rid of it from up my nose. It’s way too strong and overpowering for me. I really love my moisturisers to smell natural, subtle and soft. A coconut or vanilla scent is nice but this Dove Visible Beauty just reeked of that usual chemical-type smell that many cheap products have, I have no idea what it is but they all seem to get this smell in common. I also found the lotion to be very light, and yet it’s advertised as “supreme moisture” with “multi-layer complex”. There’s no way this would keep my dry/very dry skin hydrated. It absorbed and disappeared immediately and my legs felt dry all over again. Others may find this a nice light cream for summer time but I don’t think it is a very good moisturiser for the cold winter weather. So, I really didn’t like it, I hated the smell and I won’t be buying this again. Sorry BH and thanks anyway but I have to be honest.

perfect

Once again Dove delivers with there nourishing body lotion!! I love love love this moisturiser....it makes my skin feel velvet soft and helps to lock in moisture. It is suitable to use all of the body and doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky like some moisturisers tend to do. The cream is easy to apply and whilst it looks of a thick consistency it actually spreads to cover a great deal of skin - therefore you dont need much of the product for application. The smell is delightful and and the stand up bottle is sleek and smooth and easy to store. Another winner - and for the price it is really good value....definately a keeper and one for all to try!!!!

Silky smooth, hydrated skin that smells good enough to eat!

Oh Dove you really do know the way to my heart...this is by far my most favourite product from the Top to Toe Challenge and it's not hard to see why. The upside down bottle is both sophisticated and practical, allowing just the right amount of lotion to be dispensed onto my hands and body. By gentle massaging it into my skin, the luxurious rich creamy formula intensively hydrates, alleviating dryness and delivering a surge of moisture where it's needed most. The fragrance is like a delectable fusion of fruits with accents of nectarine, pear, raspberry and lemon and I love the way it sinks into my skin without leaving any residues or stickiness. It's perfect after shaving and has made my skin beautifully soft, smooth and oh so touchable. Thanks BH and Dove for the opportunity to trial such an amazing product! :)
