I love having a warm foot soak with inviting essential oils added, gorgeous lavendar, vanilla or rose. The aroma is magnificent and tends to go through the house. I also find painting my nails very theraputic, toes and fingers. The other thing that relaxes me is a good face cleanse, pore strip, cleanse, exfoliate, toner and then moisturiser, utter bliss.

I love to drink lots of herbal tea to calm myself and to relax. I find that exfoliating my body followed my massaging in a lovely, rich body butter really helps my skin to feel rejuvenated and replenished after the silly season. I also like to apply a deep conditioning mask to my hair because it falls victim to heat tools nearly every day during the month of December! I like to remove all traces of nail polish and actually let my nails breathe for a week without re-applying nail varnish. I might just add a coat of clear strengthening nail polish and that's about it. Lastly, I like to apply a hydrating face mask to my skin for 15-20 minutes to really let it absorb all the goodness!

The Rejuvenating Shower, soak scrub and moisturise then relax watching a good movie.
I also put a hint oil on my pillow like peppermint oil to get my mind in a relaxing state. There you have it, the whole kaboodle!

Actually, Xmas is a very relaxing time for me....just me and hubby here, rest of family overseas, so have to get pressies sorted and posted early, and that leaves December pretty relaxing. And over the Xmas break, hubby and I just send quality time together, go out for brunches and lunches etc, so again makes for a nice relaxing end to the year.
A foot bath and a bubble bath sounds nice though - have a bath tub in the house we built and moved into almost 5 years ago.....and it is still un-used!

Yes, I'm loving relaxing in the pool or going to the beach for a walk, swim and/or surf. They are my fave summer break activities. : )

I relax by sleeping. Nothing's better than a looooong, 12+ hours nap.

I too relax by grabbing as much sleep as I can, when I can. Besides this, this year (at least) I've been enjoying just hanging around the house indulging in stuff like face & hair masks, reading & just enjoying a few days by myself after New Years.

I like to relax by sneaking off somewhere quiet in the garden and putting on a layer of Franc Melt body moisturiser - it's got the best sandalwood scent that I'm completely in love with and my skin feels pampered by it's natural ingredients too.

I haven't actually been partying - just cleaning the house. And, yes, I'm pretty wiped out. A long warm shower followed by Sudoku puzzles is my relaxation heaven.

A nice bubble bath always cheers me up and helps me relax. I know it sounds childlish but there's something about that foamy white stuff that gets me nostalgic.

A bubble bath and a face mask do the trick for me. And a nice foot massage from my husband.

Feeling totally wiped out, I've decided to slap on a cleansing mask, put on some tunes and 'freshen up' for the year ahead.

I walk in the rain - when it does rain.
Listen to music, watch a movie, take a bath and a nap.
Depends on my mood. :)

The easiest way I find to unwind is just to have some ME time and do whatever I feel like at the time. It may be a long soak in the bath or visiting a friend and having a really good laugh...a stroll along the beach when its cool (not 40c), a drive to a small country town to look at all the shops for treasures you do not see in the city........
