This stuff is really nifty - Glosscars 2012

I'm definitely no sun baker but I do like a bit of fake tan every now and again, especially if I'm going out on the town. I use my trusty fake tanner and this amazing little bottle does wonders to spruce up my already fake tan. It gives me that extra bit of warm colour, shimmer, lingering scent and hydration all in one. It's perfect for a night out.

- Easy to dispense, small amounts come out
- No spills, no mess
- Warm glowing shimmery bronze liquid
- Tropical floral scent that really lingers
- Light layer of colour that easily blends in
- Easy to spread out and blend
- Dry's really quickly
- Hydrating for my skin
- Gives my skin a satin finish with a little sparkle
- No greasy or oily finish
- Gives a lovely sheen and shimmer but not over the top

Cons
- Heavy bottle but only contains 100ml. I want more of this wonderful shimmery liquid!

I recommend this to anyone wanting to spruce up there fake tan on a night out or day out.... or for those lucky olive skinned beauties who just want to emphasize that gorgeous skin of theirs. It truly is a beautiful product and it's something I will be keeping handy on my dresser.

An instant shimmering glow!

First of all, it's important to note that The Body Shop's Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil isn't an actual fake tanner, it's a temporary wash off 'one day' wear sort of product.

The Body Shop's Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil comes housed in a clear glass bottle with a twist off lid. Underneath the lid is a handy plastic stopper, which prevents unnecessary wastage and spillage of the product and allows you to shake little amounts of the oil into your hands without going overboard. I like this mechanism!

The oil itself has a delicious scent! It reminds me of a day at the beach with coconuts, and the honey is definitely evident with hints of toffee as well. Once applied, the smell slightly lingers very lightly on the skin which I love, but if you are not one for scented products, or hate sweet smells then you would probably want to steer clear of this dry oil.

The oil applies smoothly and evenly, and dries to a nice finish as if you're not even wearing it. No patches that you get with fake tanners. And you don't have to rush to blend it.

The lightweight oil is perfect for warm summer nights because it features a non-greasy finish that won't clog your pores or slide off if you start sweating. The oil gives you an even, light-bronzed look that works seamlessly with all skin tones, even my pale skin. Plus, the oil is infused with shimmer so your tan will be enhanced thus making your legs look utterly amazing.

Thanks to the fact that this body-bronzing oil features Community Fair Trade honey, you can feel great about the ingredients that you are using on your body. The beekeepers that work to create the honey in this oil employ traditional methods, using hives made from locally grown bamboo, which promotes strong, healthy, and happy bees! :)

Best product EVER!!!

I hate fake tans - they are messy, I have really dry skin so there's always a bit that goes too orange and they stink. Honey Bronze Shimmer Oil has saved me from all that. It's so convenient - I can just slap it on before running out the door - no need to exfoliate and prep. The finish is divine - a subtle colour and delicious fragrance.

LOVE!

I first heard about this fabulous product right here on BH and decided i would like to give it a try, so i stopped by my local Body Shop and picked up a bottle and it is now my new favourite beauty product!

I am quite pale and happy to be that way. I am not a fan of fake tans or bronzers and really don’t like looking or smelling like an overcooked duck. Occasionally i would like to have a bit of a glow especially when wearing something a little more revealing. Enter Honey Bronzer!

First of all it smells like a day at the beach, it’s warm, inviting and just a little bit tropical. The bottle is a generous size and has an awesome stopper to prevent the product from pouring all over you. A few drops on the back of my hand covered half way up my. It glides on smoothly and finishes soft and dry to touch. It left my skin with just a hint of shimmer but without that tacky ‘I’ve just been to Mardi Gras glitter effect’.

I recommend this for every girl and boy out there. It gave my skin a subtle golden sheen and i had people from work and later that night at dinner commenting on how "fresh" i looked and smelled! It will now be taking up permanent residence in my makeup drawer.
