I hate ingrown hairs, I get them all the time when I shave and I have to go around with a tweezer to pick them out. Now I get lots of little red dots on my legs though. I was in Myer once trying on a bikini and the bikini bottom was particularly small... and well revealing something not too pretty. Solution: I went and bought a bikini bottom that offered a bit more coverage, problem solved!!

Firstly, the answer to Nivea trivia...I had a bit of a google and this is what i came up with:
rose, lily of the valley, violet with an important fresh top note underlined by aromatic notes like lavender with hay and forest shades. The drydown was soft oriental, sweet and musky - chypre. Apparently, the perfume side of things wasn't advertised yet women became hooked on the fragrance and kept buying ti for that reason - it was back in war times and they couldnt afford to buy fragrances so were getting this instead...very interesting!!
Now for my best bikini horror story. I was 18 and it was the summer holidays and i had just started going out with my boyfriend. We were in his pool with one of our other mutal friends (who had had a crush on my previously). I said some smart arse comment to my boyfriend and he tried to playfully tackle me in the pool...but instead ripped my top of in front of our friend. My boyfriend thought it was hilarious, I was mortified but our friend sweetly claimed that he was looking away and didn't see anything...but I dont believe him!

I have such a problem with ingrown hairs, they are a nightmare for me. Fingers crossed I can get my hands on this product. I am so self-conscious about it.

I have ingrown hair problems so would love to try this product.
My bikini horror story occurred when I was a teenager (very self conscious and easy to embarrass like most teens). My family were swimming/body surfing at Portsea's back beach. I was wearing a bikini which was too skimpy given my age. I was body surfing and a huge wave hit me and when I got up my bikini bottom was down around my legs. It was soooo humiliating. I hitched it up quickly and noticed others had a similar problem so felt somewhat relieved. Will not only go body surfing wearing a one piece.

I've got scars from ingrown hairs, thank god I got laser treatment so I don't have to worry about this anymore.. but this product sounds great for those that still wax or shave.

I usually wax or epilate to remove the hair on my legs, underarms and bikini line. One time though when my friends asked me to go to the beach on very short notice, I realised that my bikini line was not in any condition to be seen . . . so I did a very quick shave (the first time I'd ever shaved my bikini line too). Oh my goodness, I've never been so uncomfortable in my life. The area went red and irritated so I spent the entire day absolutely self-conscious about how it looked. As soon as it started to grow back it itched unbearably. I have never shaved it again. I stick to the epilation which doesn't seem to cause me irritation, but I never did find a way to stop those pesky ingrowns. This product sounds wonderful and I'd love to try it.

When I was 14 I was at the beach with friends. We were body surfing and the sea was a bit rough. I caught a particularly large wave and to my horror I emerged from it with my bikini top undone revealing all to the hundreds of beach-goers. It was mortifying! I've been a one-piece wearer ever since!

It was a few years back, I was in a long-distance relationship. On a Valentines Day my bf surprised me and came to visit me. I was sick for the whole week and taking care of my bikini area was the last thing I was worried about. So I rushed to the bathroom and did a quick shave...Worst idea ever!!! Not only I cut myself several times but also caused redness and irritation. Itching was just unbearable and turned my surprise romantic date into a nightmare...
Nivea Trivia: That's a very difficult question...I found the info that signature fragrance notes in Nivea Creme are lanolin, rose-lilly, lavender, hay, chypre and forest notes (pine extract).

Back in high school I decided I needed to trim my bikini line in summer as we had swimming lessons during the first term. Back then, brazillians were just starting to become the rage with celebrities and its was making it on the magazines. Clever me decided that I should try it out to so went beyond trimming and shaved off pretty much every hair I could see. The next day stubble downstairs were so itchy, I couldn't sit still in class at all. Not only that, a couple of days later, the ingrowns started showing up, giving me more grief. Needless to say I've never ever shaved in that area again since. I only stick with trimming to neaten my hairs now.
NIVEA Trivia: The six signature fragrance notes in NIVEA Crème are…
Rose-lily, lavendar, green forest notes, valley violet, magnifying the lanolin scent.

My worst bikini experience would have been a while ago (talking young inexperienced early teen years) before I realized that good landscaping wasn't just for the garden! Needless to say after laying at the beach with some girlfriends and seeming oblivious to the rather untidy strays I was showing I soon learnt to be a little more self conscious before I donned my bikini bottoms!
* The Nivea scent is a complex floral bouquet based on lily of the valley, rose, violet, lilac and lavender, with orange and lemon fruit essences.

My worst bikini-line disaster still makes me want to cry. I'd booked a Brazilian with a new beautician, on good recommendation from others. All was going well as she waxed the top with strip wax, but as soon as she started on my most delicate bits with the hot wax, we both realised the wax was WAY too hot. I blistered almost immediately and lost a lot of skin when she took the wax off. She then had the gall to try and charge me for the honour of receiving second-degree burns to my bits!

* ooops and Lanolin... so we have the six including lily of the valley, rose, violet, lilac and lavender as the most notable scents in Nivea Creme.

My worst bikini horror story was when I went to the beach and got hit by a big wave, my bottoms were tie ups so half came undown and were hanging and I lost my bikini top!!! I had to squat around in the water trying to find it and much to my embarassment a guy near buy found it and said i think this is yours. He was very polite about it but I was completely humilated!!!

When I was about 14 we had a swimming carnival at school and the morning of the carnival I realised that I was requiring a bit of shave before unveiling my new 1 piece cosi. This was the eighties and the cosi line was high. This was the first time that I had had to shave and didnt know what effect it could have on the skin, even worse I didnt know you had to use shave cream. I used soap and did the shave and thought I was going to look a bit of alright. I was in a rush and didnt check anything either. When we got to the pool, my race was one of the first and as I undressed to go win a race, one of the boys goes "What is going on with THAT area?" I looked down and was horrified, I had the worst shaving rash you could possibly imagine. I was so embarrassed I didnt go in any races and remained fully dressed for the rest of the day.

I went on a trip to Samoa and decided it looked like fun to jump off a 60 foot waterfall! The locals helped my sister and I climb up the rock face to the top and after much "no you go first and OMG" we finally jumped. I WAS wearing a rash vest with bikini underneath, somehow the height and force managed to pull off my bikini and the rash top was around my neck, came to the surface gasping for air and didn't even notice I was giving the locals a bloody peep show! SHAME! ;)

This is a fabulous product!
I didn't realise it was listed on BH!
Just pre a relaxing trip to bali I had a pea sized red and inflammed ingrown on the bikini line.
Of course instead of being sensible I squeezed and squeezed it, luckily got out the 2cm
pesky bugger, but also was left with an unsightly scab for over a week.

Using proper wax that you heat in the microwave for the first time. I was always used to strips but i found wax on special so tried it. I made it way too hot and put it on.. not only did it burn but it cooled there too.. trying to get cooled wax off was a nightmare.. I ended up with a razor anyway :( I must say I have gotten much better with practise!

omg the bumpy bikini line is the horror or my life, every single time i have waxed or shaved it, i have ended up with nasty ingrown hairs that get bright red and extremly painful, often they end up infected and pussy YUK as a result i have simply given up on those methods and have to use an electric shaver, which means i have to do that area daily if I am expecting to be visiting anywhere sunny and warm, its inconvienant but still better than the alternative for me.

I don't have the figure to wear a bikini plus I'm single so the good old bikini line isn't really an issue at the moment =D
But having said that I tend to avoid shaving my bikini line so that I can avoid that itchy, in-grown feeling so I wouldn't mind giving this product a go.

There was one time where I was desperate to go to the beach asi it was a great day and I needed to shave my bikini area but didn't have a shaver. I used a waxing strip on my sensitive area and waxed it the wrong way and ripped some of my skin off:( most painful experience ever

When I was 16 I went to stay with my aunt in Queensland for a week. She lived in an apartment on Mermaid Beach. One morning I went down to the beach for a swim, not taking a towel as it was only a few minutes walk and I figured I'd dry off as I walked back. The waves were quite forceful and as I body surfed my bikini bottoms were ripped free! I searched for them for about 5 minutes but could not find them. Eventually I worked up the courage to run from the water, heading for a pile of towels belonging to others on the beach. I scooped up a towel as I ran past and continued back to the apartment covered in the stolen towel. I did not go out for the rest of the day, and I did not go to the beach again for the rest of the holiday. I also became a devotee of the one piece.

This is going to sound completely stupid on his part, but once my bf accused me of cheating on him because I had an ingrown hair, and he thought I'd contracted something!! So yeah, that is probably a worst-case scenario RE: ingrowns (oh my gosh, I was so angry at him for suggesting that!!).
My bikini horror story easily dates back to when i was 13, and had been invited to a day at the beach with family friends. Of course, this happened to also be the day I got my first period. So i'm suddenly bleeding and in the water, and this is shark country, WA :P
What a day ;)
