Naval Piercing?

G’day girls!
My mate was wondering what you guys think of her getting her naval pierced again!?
She had it pierced two years ago and for some reason the piercing stretched her skin and the body bar fell thru!
Personally i think it was the piercer because i dont think he pierced it deep enough, what do you guys think?
thanks

Ive had my naval pierced for about 15 years (yes I know I`m ancient!!!) and I still love it!!! It`s a simple little sterling silver hoop and everyone is soooooo surprised when they see it. Thankfully I`ve had absolutely no problems with it!!
i think anyone 15 and over should have the right to have a belly button ring if they want to. Any younger than that is very questionable (just my opinion!!!)
I`m not sure about guys getting their navals pierced!!!!!????!!!!!

I think the golden rule with any piercing is to go somewhere professional and clean. You need to see the needles come out of new packets and so on. I have had my nose and ears pierced for many years and have never had any trouble. I did have a friend who had to take out her belly button piercing when she was pregnant though, I think they become uncomfortable. Also, if you have a caesarian you will have to take it out because you are usually not allowed to have metal bits in you in the operating theatre.
