I would Looove to be invited to be a Beauty Guru. I love the site anyway but it would be such a bonus to be asked 🙂 Fingers crossed one day it’ll happen

What Beautybabe said is correct – members who had reached a certain level in the old rewards system were automatically converted to Guru status.

I hadn’t reached that level in the old system, but I was surprised by an email from bh telling me that I was the first to be granted guru status in the new rewards programme because of my contribution in the forums.

Having said that, I don’t think bombarding the forums is the way to go – it’s patience and a genuine involvement which will pay off 🙂

You’re absolutely correct about not bombarding the forum with comments, I think if anyone just logs on and starts reading the forum, they will automatically see topics that interest them and then comment on them. And that will help in the long run.

It comes with participation and loyalty and time and effort. That’s why if you (not you specifically – just anyone) joins just hoping to do trials and race up the ranks to Beauty Guru, they’ll be in for a shock, cos BH isn’t just a half-half kinda place, if you want to get somewhere you need patience. But it’s so worth it.

I think eventually we would all get there! I love being on the site and doing reviews and getting advise. So you get an email if they want you to join the trail team ?
