Wiped out

For me, wipes have always meant baby bottoms or kitchen bench cleansers – but what I’ve come to realise is they’re so much more than that.
There are handy dandy wipes for almost every task – they’re multi-tasking machines that aim to make our lives easier, and boy do they do just that.

Just the other day I enjoyed two kinds of wonder wipes: Self tanning wipes (in the form of Swisspers Self Tan Wipes), and Bloom Nail Polish Remover Wipes, that make my constant nail colour indecisiveness that much easier to deal with.

Over the past few months I’ve also fallen for Australis Cosmetics 3in1 Wipes, they’ve come to be my slumber party savior when I break all beauty rules and simply can’t be bothered to remove the day’s make-up with cleansing and tedious toning (I know, please suppress your gasps!).

I do, however have to declare that so far my uppermost favourite single-use swipers to cross my desk are the Dermalogica Solar Defense Wipes with SPF 15. They give me the protection I need without being gluggy or guilty of tell-tale sunscreen stench. I do believe this will be a long-term love affair – and there are many more space-saving, time-reducing products to get acquainted with. I just know I won’t stop until I meet them all…

I love all kinds of wipes!! Make my life so much easier especially at night when I need a quick fix makeup remover. Swisspers make a fantastic exfoliating wipe as well which has a smooth side for cleansing and a beaded side for exfoliating. Makes my forehead nice and smooth (which is the roughest part of my face). Love tanning wipes as I'm really lazy when it comes to fake tanning and with a wipe you can wipe all over your body without the mess and a few hours later your bronzed!!

I always have a pack of wipes in my bedside drawer for when it's a late night and I'm too lazy for a full cleanse. I quite like Garnier Nutritionist wipes, they are cleansing without drying. Also essential for the gym bag and wiping your makeup off before a workout!

I would love those nail polish remover wips I am over using cotton wool, what a pain, lol. I don't like using wipes on my face if they contain alcohol so it is a good idea to look out for the alcohol free one's. Baby wipes are a day to day product in my house as I have two toddlers still in nappies, good for dirty fingers as well, also great to remove pen off skin and walls, lol.

I love wipes, they are easy to use and efficient at getting the job needed done. I always have a pack in my car and handbag when I need them. I have tried the swisspers and dove and love them both.!!

I don't have any wipes. I wasn't aware that the WERE so many wipes! I think some of the three-in-one wipes and the solar defence wipes would both be very handy to have around.

Wipes are time and lifesavers! They are a much loved beauty staple of mine and have been years now. I have tried various cleansing, exfoliating and moisturing ones for removing makeup and restoring my skin after a night out. I'm currently using Nivea ones and have two packs on the go! I can't wait to try out some of these new additions! Thanks for letting us know, Lovely Liv. : )

I got to agree with you there, wipes are super convenient. I got at least 3 packs lying around in my house. Especially since it's summer, these wipes give me refreshing and clean face in just seconds.

I'm a huge makeup wipe fan too, especially for the gym pre-workout if I'm coming from work or for big nights out. Love the sunscreen wipes idea too!

I've never used wipes before, I've always been dubious of them for some reason??
Although I do take the swissper exfoliating pads while travelling because they're light and dont take up any room and great for when you're feeling all gross from travelling all day and night, they scrub you so clean!

wipes to remove makeup, sunscreen anything in a hurry or when ther's no water around are great. I like neutrogena, nivea, Botanics of Australia... most of them work well so long as i choose for sensitive skin. selftan wipes sound handy and the sunscreen ones, will check them out!
