Get set to jet-set – with gorgeous skin
Hands up if you like to go on holiday? It’s one of my personal favourite pastimes, and something that I recently indulged in over the Easter break (went on a fabulous trip to Hong Kong and Taiwan with bh’s Kate).
I love everything about travelling; exploring a new city, learning about a new culture, shopping with a different currency, eating new foods…believe it or not I even love packing and plane food (there’s something about a compartmentalised meal that excites me).
The only thing I don’t love about jet setting is the way it dehydrates my skin – just because I’ve spent the last 10 hours on a plane, doesn’t mean I actually want to look that way. So when Kate and I discovered that there was a Dermalogica Skin Bar at Sydney Airport Terminal 1, we made sure it was our first port of call before we boarded the plane.
Not only can you stock up on all your travel-sized skin supplies (at duty free cost!!), but you can also prep your skin for your plane journey with a complimentary face-mapping consultation during which a trained skin care consultant analyses the different zones of your face and identifies all your skin concerns. Plus, you also get FREE use of the ‘Hydration Station’, where you can try and test Dermalogica products and slather your skin with as much moisturiser as you like before your flight! Totally brilliant for warding off any in-flight skin dehydration.
As you can see from the gallery above, Kate and I certainly got amongst it, and there’s no doubt about it, our skin definitely benefitted (my personal fave product was the Dermalogica UltraCalming Mist, which I spritzed throughout my flight).
So if you’ve got some time to spare before boarding the plane, you’d be mad not to pop in and have a play with all the Dermalogica products. The Dermalogica Skin Bar is open to everyone travelling – and like I said before, the products are duty free, and the skin consultations/assessments are totally free, so head on over and get the holiday indulgence started early!
What do you think of the Dermalogica Skin Bar?
