Tonique Eclat Clarifying Exfoliating Toner is like its name suggests a toner and chemical exfoliater in one. It smells okay but perhaps a bit overpowering for my liking and I imagine this might not be suitable for those who are very sensitive to scented products. It’s a clear water-like solution that has designed to be used after cleansing to remove any remaining traces of makeup/impurities while at the same time, exfoliate the skin. To use, you simply need to pour a small amount onto a cotton round and wipe gently, avoiding the eye contour area. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean but I also feel that it might be a bit harsh for everyday use, and particularly for those with sensitive skin. Overall, it’s an average toner/exfoliator but it’s not as good as their Tonique Douceur which is alcohol-free and has a gentler formulation better suited to my skin.

I wanted to love this but its just all alcohol from the scent to the way the fumes even sting your eyes.
I love Lancome and I hate giving bad reviews but I agree with Ricebunny914. Alcohol in skincare needs to be further down the ingredients least, or not in them at all.
Try one of Lancome's other toners which are all great!

Im sure this is a great toner though i find that it burns way to much for my liking and really does dry my skin out. RESPONSE FROM LANCOME: Dear Beautybunny914, we strongly apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with this product. Indeed this toner contains active ingredients that aim at exfoliating skin (such as Japanese Cedar Bud Extract), which may have been responsible for that sensation. May we recommend you the Tonique Confort Toner, which is specifically dedicated to drier more sensitive skins? We would be happy to provide you with a sample of it
