Refreshing toner that is great value for money

Re-submission for Glosscars

I still love this toner and have almost run out - time to get some more!!

I have been lucky enough to be trialling 5 products in this new range and I have been really impressed.

The toner comes in a 150ml green bottle which looks gorgeous in my bathroom. Upon opening the bottle I was aware of the gorgeous apple scent which is very distinctive. On smelling this, I was concerned as I have had a really bad skin reaction to apple scented products but I am glad to say that this range has not caused me any concerns.

I use this toner morning and night and it is very cold when it is first put on the face so it really wakes the skin up. I find that my skin feels clean and refreshed and alive.

When this is used in conjunction with the recommended Dr LeWinns moisturisers you get the benefit of both products and hopefully a more polished skin that is clear and less lined.

I would recommend that you consider trying this range as it is great value for money and really feels luxurious.

Glosscars 2012 - a great toner

This lovely toner is part of the new budget anti-ageing range by Dr Lewinn's. I was really looking forward to trying this as I liked the fact that the products are specifically designed for anti-ageing and contains excellent ingredients such as green tea and pomegranate extract as well as the rare Swiss Apple extract that features in all the products.

The toner comes in a practical green plastic bottle, 150 ml and has a small opening at the top so you can ensure the right amount of product is used and there is no waste. The fragrance is very light and fresh and gives me a little lift when I use it. I have used many toners over the years and I have found this to be different in a very positive way. It applies beautifully and certainly refreshes the skin and seems to be very calming as well.

Given the excellent price point for an anti-ageing product and the enjoyment gained from using this toner, I believe this toner is worthy of a Glosscars.

beautiful cleaner

dr lewinns was the first brand i was introduced to when i joined beautyheaven...and its still a firm favourite of mine today! im conscious of fine lines that have started to appear and also i have quite large pores around my nose so i decided to try this toner after being told by a friend it was good. I was very impressed. it smells beautiful and i really notice the traces of make up it removes - even after my cleansing and cleaning. My skin feels refreshed and bright after use - and i really do honestly think the pores around my nose seem less noticeable. LOVE this toner and will defiantly be using again when my bottle runs out

Feeling Fresh

Using this toner is a bit more than most as it has a nourishing feel about it doing your skin alot of good . Felt really clean before I moisturised

If you like toners, you'll love this one.

I have a confession to make - I'm not a regular toner user. *hangs head in shame*

Okay, now that's said, moving on to why I might be persuaded to start using a toner regularly. Most toners I've tried have dried out my skin (even though it's fairly oily) and left it tight and stinging. Not this one. Synergise Toner is alcohol-free, so no stinging or tightness, just clean skin and clear pores. A little goes a very long way so it's great value for money, and it seems to enhance the other fantastic products in the range. I've taken a star off for the fiddly screw-top lid instead of a flip-cap, but it's a great toner and I'll use it all up. The jury's out on whether I'll repurchase, as that will depend on whether I make it a regular addition to my routine.

I love my toners

I have to be honest - a toner is a toner is a toner to me. I love them, I use them religiously, but I don't much care which one I use. I liked this one quite a lot, but I think the scent might be too much for a lot of people - it's a very strong apple fragrance.

I think it's a great price and given that it's conveniently available in my local supermarket, I will probably buy more when I've finished this bottle.

One of my favourites from this range

Like other BH reviewers I very rarely use a Toner, but after using this one I will keep it up.
The bottle looks like your typical toner bottle, but I love the smell and that it doesn't feel drying on the skin.
After using the matching Cleanser, I seriously felt like i had just had salon type facial.
The price is another great upside for an obvious high quality product.

Toner magnificant!

I absolutely loved this toner, it came in a lovely green bottle and is very economical to use, as it has a very small hole, so you dont go wasting too much! It's excellent value at $19.95.

I use it on my face and neck on a cotton pad after cleansing, and then go onto other products like serum and moisturiser, and they soak in beautifully because of this toner.

It smells like Apples, and leaves your skin toned, clean and ready for more products. It didn't sting at all and it controlled my oiliness and pimples.

Its a wonderful toner and I would recommend it to everyone as an essential part of your skin care routine! Dont over look toners ever, especially this one, they really work and your serums and creams will soak in much quicker and you will use less!!! 5 stars from me. Love it.

I'[ve got to be honest with you all, i do skip toner regularly but after using this one for the last couple of weeks morning and night, i won't be skipping it again. I found my skin felt softer and absorbed my serum and moisturizer much more efficiently. even if it's just a placebo, my skin looks much clearer and better for it.
