Tip of the week: rosehip oil is good for you

Until recently, I was still in a constant struggle to discover my perfect nightly skin routine - and then rosehip oil came into my life, like a shiny, natural beacon of hope.
Rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, rosehip oil works to restore moisture in your skin and promote a smooth, brighter-looking surface, while improving elasticity and decreasing the appearance of fine lines. Most rosehip oils are certified organic, with only purely naturally derived ingredients, making them a favourite amongst natural beauty nuts!
Another great reason to try rosehip oil - a little goes a long way. Just a few drops of rosehip oil is enough to cover your entire face and neck, which makes it great value for money too!
We love: Bloom Organics Pure Rosehip Oil, and A’Kin Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil

Rosehip oil is absolutely amazing and makes my skin so smooth and radiant. I love A'kin and Trilogy... just a few drops massaged into my skin after a shower does wonders!

Unfortunately this made my skin break out like crazy....I'm talking about cyst like zits which I've never had before. I stopped using it and then tried it again a few weeks later to see if it actually did make me break out and sure enough a couple of days later cyst like zits yet again. So glad it works for everyone else though.

^ thats very interesting (muraljewel's comment) i have been using rosehip oil (trilogy) for the last month or so and the benefits are unbelievable but my skin has been breaking out alot more since (nothing big though small whiteheads and lots of blackheads) i now have to wonder if this is the case... i REALLY hope not... LOVE rosehip oil!

Rosehip oil has always been on my "to try" list. Your article convinced me to give it a go, heading out to buy a bottle now ad will see if there are any results. Given that I won't be putting harsh chemicals on my face, the effects can't be bad!

Must try it. Is it good for other scarring, not just acne scars? I have some scars elsewhere from injuries when I play sports that are pretty ugly, and I'd love for them to fade.

i used to use it a bit because i heard it can help with acne scarring but it made my skin break out as my skin is already naturally oily. But i was thinking i might start using it again and i might just apply it directly to the scars.

I just lurvvvvvvvve this product, i have combo skin and was afraid that it would leave my skin looking oily, but no not at all, i have been using it for a week and it gives me this glowing dewy look and feels awesome on my skin, i use it for my fine lines and apparantently you see the results of minimised lines after a few weeks so looking forward to that, but so far so good.

I use Akin rosehip oil, and surprisingly my skin reacted to it, mostly on my sensitive cheeks. But I use it on really dry areas and lines
