Protection with a side of patriotism

It’s Australia Day on Wednesday so we all know what’ll invariably happen – you’ll go out with friends, have a few too many beers on the beach or around the barbie and – ooops – all of a sudden you’ll be about as burnt as the snag you just ate off the hot plate. Not a good look, and not a good way to do our country proud. (I’m almost certain that when Dorothea Mackellar wrote the famous line, “I love a sunburnt country”, she was talking about the colour of the land, and not the state of its people!)
So this year, if you’re planning on lounging about outdoors, why not show your Aussie spirit while staying sun safe at the same time? It’s as easy as getting your green-and-gold painted fingers on the super patriotic, ultra protective Aussie Sport-Brella. It’s a sun tent and rain shelter all in one, that folds out like a normal beach umbrella (with optional nifty side flaps), providing over two metres of maximum sun protection for you and your friends to relax under come Aussie Day. Or any other day really!

What a fabulous product - so practical and patriotic as well. Not sure what I will be doing on Australia Day - depends on the weather which is so unpredictable at present. Anyway, have a great day everyone! x

I love that Aussie Sport-Brella, such a great idea. Where can you get it from??
I will not be doing anything on Australia Day as the weather is going to be way too hot for me, I'll be in front of my air conditioner.

Keeping cool and maybe get some lamb chops. Those lamb ads are hilariously effective!

Depends on the weather but it's highly likely I'll be having a swim! The water is beautiful at the moment - nice and clear after all those big tides washing the beaches clean! We may end up having a bit of a fish as well, also depending on the tides, weather etc (well, hopefully catching one anyhow!).

I'm hoping to get to the beach early with the kids before it gets too hot, then have a BBQ lunch with the family.

The Aussie Sport-Brella is a great product, encouraging Aussie's to be both patriotic and sun smart. The festiveties will commence tonight for me!

The tent is very cute! I will be celebrating my boyfriends mum's birthday in the morning and then lounging around a friends pool for Aussie day celebrations in the afternoon. Lots of celebrations!

It is a family tradition of ours to all go to mum and dads for a bbq and swim by the pool. My parents live on the corner of a highway and dad proudly displays a huge Australian flaf between two palm trees. We all wear t-shirts with the australian flag print and generally have a fabulous day. We all bring something Aussie to the bbq like lamingtons or lamb or garden salad. A great day is had by all.

The tent looks great - I'm one of those people who need total shade if I'm going to the beach. Will probably spend Australia Day at the cricket.
