Movember groans

As November hits, I see girlfriends of mine shudder in fear as they realise their boys are indulging in the last shave for the next 30 days. Yep, Movember is well and truly here people, and even though it’s for a good cause – not everyone is happy about its arrival…

Girls, what is so bad about a mo? Is it the scratchy feeling when you kiss your beau? The pash rash that follows? Is it the fact he looks like a Mexican porn star with his upper lip fuzz? And what is it about having a mo that makes boys so excited to get growing?

They seem more committed to following the progress of their ‘tache growth than they do about anything else (their relationship for instance)? It got me to thinking – why do girls and guys clash so much over the mo?

When you put it into context, the mo isn’t all that bad. I know a guy who insists on sporting a longer piece of plaited hair at the back of his head (otherwise known as a rat’s tail), as well as a guy who refuses to chop his long locks off (much to his girlfriend’s dismay.) So even though Movember can be a bit of a pain in the pash-department, at least it’s only around for a month! Plus, it’s raising money and awareness for prostate cancer, one of the biggest diseases to affect men worldwide. So girls, why not concentrate on the positives and praise your man for doing his part?

At least his hair isn’t longer than yours, right?

He's great, I have nothing to complain about. About the mo', I'm glad he opts for the clean-shaven look - his hairs are so thick & spiky, it's like kissing a wad of steel wool. Great for exfoliating though...

He he this is a funny article for bh!!

What annoys me is how he washes out all the recycling stuff for the bin! Do we really hve to wash it out before it goes in the recycling bin? I tend to just chuck it in!

Fellows say women have PMT, but I think men have their off times during the month as well. Something goes off creating hormonal upheaval in their world and we the nurturer(women) seem to suffer the consequences. Sorry to any BH members who are blokes, not meant to offend you.

I have absolutely no complaints about my hubby, he is the sweetest kindest person, and he is just always there for me, and will drop anything to help, support or be with me - even when im in a cranky mood. He really is my soulmate.

I love my guy so much, and I will marry the hell out of him one day, but he can be annoying! It's mainly leaving his clothes lying around and then complaining if I haven't washed his uniform. If I can't see it, I ain't searching!
But he really is such a sweetie. He cooks fir me everyday, always makes sure I am feeling well and sends me random I love you texts. <3
The movember cause is brilliant and I love looking at tje poor mos out there. A great way to make fun of male friends!

My husband cannot for the life of him find the inside of the laundry basket, his dirty washing goes around it, on top of it, behind it, underneath it..but NEVER in it...

Hubby grew a Mo for just less than 2weeks in November. It looked terrible on him. It was patchy and uneven. He even got himself some mo trimming instruments. I was tactful and said nothing, did not encourage or discourage. He shaved it off the day before his interview for which he needed to look clean. I secretly rejoiced :D

He has a very selective listening ability! Some years back I went off my brain at him not listening to me - the answer "How do you think we've had such a successful marriage all this time???!!!!!!" Celebrated our 48th Anniversary last April.

My man is doing movember. I'm not a fan. I love him and support him, but I'll be glad when Dec 1 rolls around!

My son is doing Movemeber which is fine because he has left home. If my husband does it, I will leave home. Why does a man with ash brown grow a red mo. Not a good look.

I support Movember, it's a really good cause. My man has a blonde/ginger beard so when he did grow the mo one year it was hardly noticeable. Since I donate already, he doesn't actually need to grow it! ;) The most annoying thing about my man is that he can't keep track of time. So...I bought him a nice watch lol

My hubby is pretty good except when I am just waiting on his coffee cup to wash up and then he takes longer and just puts the cup in the dishwashing water and leaves it there.

I do love Movember, but I hate the mo. So glad none of the males in my family do it, however they always donate to a mate who is doing it :)
