Moistur-what?

The other morning I innocently asked my older brother what moisturiser he uses, to which he casually responded, “none.”
It took me a while to pick my jaw up off the floor, but when I finally did, I launched into a lecture about the importance of nourishing and protecting his skin. Well, he got tired of me talking about wrinkles and crows feet and set off to work – all before I could make some recommendations.
So, if you’re like me and have a brother/father/son/husband/boyfriend/friend (or all of the above) who has been neglecting his skin, here are a few products you can suggest he try:
AHAVA Protective Moisturiser + SPF15 is a great choice for those with sensitive skin. The alcohol-free moisturiser is lightweight and provides all day hydration and protection to freshly shaven skin.
If he suffers from oily skin, try A’kin Visibly Fit 24 Hour Moisturiser. It not only moisturises and hydrates skin, but also contains oil-free extracts that ensure he won’t experience an end-of-day oil slick.
And if he’s looking to turn back the clock a few years, NIVEA for Men DNAge Anti-Age Moisturiser will work to fight those wrinkles. The cream will help firm skin, improve elasticity and reduce those pesky lines.
Let’s hope Big Bro (and all those other neglectful men out there) take this advice on board and start giving their skin a little bit more TLC.

Do the men in your life worry about their skin?

What a cute photo of your dad and you together Carli! Looks like a precious moment.
My dad's pretty much of the old school where guys don't think too much about their skin on their face (not openly anyhow!). My hubby though does like to wear the nice men's skincare that comes his way from time to time and he even uses my Skin Physics LED machine (I have to remind him that it's actually 'mine'!!).

Yes, and no, lately, with everyone’s skin being so dry, the whole household has been using the moisturiser, which has been great.

My gosh, that is so funny! I was lecturing my little brother (21) about skincare only yesterday! I gave him a day cream, night cream & eye cream and told him to USE them.

Both sons use the Nivea men range, however i do have to remind them to use it. especially now with summer approaching, they both work outside, so i have to make sure sunscreen is applied everyday.

My husband used to pooh-pooh the whole idea of moisturising his face (or indeed even making the effort to cleanse it regularly with anything other than soap and water). Now that he has turned 39 though he's starting to see the changes and vanity has won out. He's taken to using my daily moisturiser :-)

My hubby flat out refuses to use any moisturisers or skin care products. I have been known to attack him in his sleep with moisturiser when his skin is in desperate need of a drink lol.

I am lucky to have a partner that listens to what advice I give him regarding products to use, he uses moisturiser, will not use soap on his face, and has used pore strips, he is not proud, just educated.

My hubby religiously applies he cream and eye cream every morning....yet to get him to do it at night too...but for someone aged 46, who has grown up under the Australian sun, his skin is amazing - im so envious!
