Affordable gift for guys – sorted!

Probably one of my worst jobs in the world is buying gifts for guys. They’re just so hard! Socks and ties are pretty boring (and best left to nanna to give as gifts); experiences can become waaay too expensive, and unless you’re completely sure about their wardrobe preferences, clothes are definitely out of the question.
So what’s left? Grooming of course! It’s the perfect way to give the man in your life something that’s both useful, and reminds him of you on a daily basis!
Two great gift packs that won’t break the bank come from the Dove Men+Care range.
The Dove for Men Pack retails at $24.99 and contains a Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh Body and Face Wash 400mL, a Dove Men+Care Cool Fresh Anti-Perspirant, a Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh Foaming Facial Cleanser 110mL, and a Dove Men+Care Body Buffer, all packaged up in an extremely masculine-looking wet pack. Plus his skin will feel soft and he’ll smell great – talk about value for money!
Does your bloke fancy himself as a bit of a traveller, or is he planning a cheeky Christmas vacation? Either way, he’ll love the convenience of the Dove for Men Travel Pack, which contains a Dove Men+Care Cool Fresh Anti-Perspirant 20g, a
Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh Body and Face Wash 55mL, and a Dove Men+Care Clean Comfort Body and Face Wash 55mL, all combined in a mini wet pack. The best news? This great gift will set you back – wait for it – only $9.99!

Can you guess which groomed chest belongs to which super hot male celeb?
Do you have great ideas when it comes to gifting for guys? Share them with the rest of us inspiration-starved shoppers please!!…

When it comes to guy gifts I'm a big fan of this stuff! All the men this year are getting packs from The Body Shop with shave cream, razor etc. Easy!

I still think its harder to buy a gift for guys than us girls but I find there grooming habits are changing and therefore I feel there is alot more out there like gift packs with shaving oils/lotions and colognes that are jazz up and make them feel special.

Most of the men in my life appreciate vouchers so they can get things to do with cars, motorbikes, sport, electronics, music and certainly TOOLS.......apparently the men in my house can never have enough of them (not cheap ones either). They would like the Dove gifts but if they were honest the afore mentioned things would be what they really want!!!!!

I agree with Green_Jaguar - vouchers are popular with my fellas, but I also like to give them something on the day. Those Dove packs look perfect - thanks Deb and all the other beauties for your suggestions, really helps a lot :-)

Fortunately I don't have to buy for male friends all that often. I go for DVDs, games, JB Hifi gift cards, wallet, alcohol lol

DVDs, clothes, underwear (every boy has a few pairs of undies with holes that need to go), tickets to a concert!

My male gift idea's are as follows: fishing license, bottle of his fav alcohol, Bonds boxers in snazzy colours, DVD voucher, itunes music card, mp3 player, trendy fashion tshirts, aftershave or cologne, talc, surf thongs and cap, sunglasses, boogie board or sports equipment.
I have nephews, partner, son and bro-in-laws to buy for, so I like to have a variety of things to choose from. ###Sandra

I always struggle with male gifts, but giving a token or cash seems so impersonal. These are reasonably priced good suggestions.

Buying gifts for guys is hard in general but for my boyfriend, I find it pretty easy. He does love skin care stuff, so this is an idea.

My partner and I don't do gifts for xmas (only birthdays and even then usually only about half the time!). It really depends on the type of guy, and because I only buy gifts for people really significant to me I know em pretty well.
