Seize every maintenance moment

Every time you wake up in the morning, you face the sometimes very difficult task of choosing what goes on your face and your body.
It’s an opportunity to address any concerns or issues you may have, with products that are specifically designed to improve a certain area. Each time you whip one of these products out you’re one step closer to your desired grooming goal, and every time you don’t – it’s a missed chance.
In the morning, when it comes time to tend to your face, you may opt for a complexion-evening moisturiser to help deal with pigmentation, or a radiance serum to brighten dull skin, before putting on your daily make-up. If that’s the case, we recommend CLINIQUE Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector, and Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser with SPF 15.
For your body, you might apply a gradual tanner to ensure you’re building up that sun kissed glow in preparation for the weekend, or a nourishing moisturiser that will you have well on your way to silky smooth pins. Sound like you? Then you can’t go past Naked Tan Goddess Glaze Gradual Tan, and NIVEA Express Hydration Body Lotion.
Oh and don’t forget about your tresses! Each time you wash your hair it gives you an opportunity to use products that improve the overall health and appearance of your hair. Whether it’s a blonde toner, a deep repairing masque or curl enhancing shampoo and conditioner, if you incorporate them into your routine, your hair is guaranteed to thank you for it! We love: Schwarzkopf Extra Care Blonde Toner, L’Oreal Professionnel Série Expert Absolut Repair Masque, and Wella Biotouch Curl Shampoo.
Finally, there’s bedtime – the time in which your body does its most regenerative work. This is perfect time to slather on a cell repairing night cream, a firming and plumping eye cream, and a softening lip balm. Try: Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Deep Wrinkle Night, Dr Lewinn's Firming Eye Cream, and Carmex® lip balm jar.
How do you seize your maintenance moments?

It's amazing how much we have to do in our daily routines. Every morning I cleanse, tone, apply serum and moisturise my my face. I also apply a body moisturiser and hand cream a couple of times a day. It's alot of work but it's totally worth it!

My AM routine is more about sun protection whereas PM routine is all about anti-aging and moisture delivery. I do spend more time getting ready in the morning - maybe 15 minutes including make-up.

Any spare chance that I can get on a weekend I will do a facial. Even if it is only an exfoliation. Love the tips that you have offered Bh.

I have serum, face moisturiser, lip balm and hand cream on my bedside table. I steal a few maintenance moments before going to sleep, that way I know these products are doing their thing while I get my beauty sleep.

I mainly seize oppourtunities for greatness in regards to my hair. I shampoo and condition with a volumising product, then whilst my hair is still damp, spray lightly with argon oil. I usually do it before bed and wake up with soft shiny beautifully smelling tresses; to die for!!

A great place to do most of the maintanance/cleansing work is in the shower where you can easily wash the cleanser off without having to bend over a sink.
