I like to use SHE Aromatherapy’s Rosehip Oil. It also contains Rose essential oil in it which has a much better effect than just Rosehip Oil. Plus, it smells lovely. The girl in Priceline told me that this is their No.1 seller in store!

Hi Stensen, thanks heaps for the advise! Its been great help. I think I will apply the RHO before the moisturiser then, on scars for now. And hoping they wil just go away… 🙂

No questions are ever silly rendezvous 🙂

I use my Kosmea rosehip oil as a serum. My routine is like this: Cleanse, tone, RHO as a serum, moisturiser. I apply it to my whole face and wait for it to be absorbed into my skin before applying the moisturiser. RHO would benefit your face even if you use it before moisturiser because it is packed with vitamins and essential fatty acids that will nourish your skin. It’s up to you if you want to apply it to your whole face or just the acne scars but I would apply it to your whole face – that way you can also reap the anti-aging benefits too.

I know this might sounds silly. But just exactly when should I apply the rose hip oil? Just got the trilogy (aiming to reduce scar and if possible dryness too) and a SA advised me to apply it only after the moisturiser as according to her, the oil is gonna be a concentrated one so if I apply before moisturiser, my face wouldnt be able to benefit from the moisturiser. So Im wondering if anyone could advise. Should I just apply to my whole face or acne scar area? Thanks gals!

I like the both of them myself and always have a bottle of each on hand for various remedies and things I come up with for using my essential oils 🙂

ta P75 re: the photosensitive question. I was still curious about that and you answered it well 🙂 mel, i like jojoba and sweet almond (my fave atm) its what i use as a carrier/base oil for my blends that I use for massage etc on my body.

i’ve never encountered any issues with RHO being photosensitive.
the main essential oil (main stream) is Bergamot but you can get that bergaptene free now.

Jojoba is excellent because it is the closest thing to your skins own natural oils, I use jojoba all the time on my face but have never tried mixing it with RHO, it should be fine though because oils like jojoba and sweet almond oil are known to be carrier oils 🙂

Coconut oil will spread more easily than jojoba but give it a try anyway, it certainly can’t hurt.
