Best in Beauty 2014 : bring it back to our shelves!
For a moisturizer under $13 that hydrates deeply, nourishes dry skin and helps reduce fine lines for ageing skin, this Gaia Skin + Body Facial moisturizer does the job! I use this on days when my skin needs a real pick-me-up as it contains organic oils and leaves me skin reallllly soft, as if it just took a long oil bath and left it really moisturized! This has a pleasant botanical fragrance and is great for my sensitive skin and works well over spot treatments. Even though it’s no longer available on Aussie shelves (get it online only), I will still repurchase this in the future.

best day time moisturiser
Best in beauty vote for day time moisturiser defs goes to this! Ever since I started using this moisturiser I haven't bothered to try others. It ticks all the boxes, it's natural ingredients, its easy to use pump, the benefits, smells lovely, its affordable, moisturises really well and doesn't irritate sensitive and acne prone skin. It's actually a really rich moisturiser, but absorbs really well and doesn't clog pores. My skin loves the way this feels and I love the way my skin feels after using this

Surprisingly hydrating for a light moisturiser
Most of the light-textured moisturisers that I've used haven't been hydrating enough for my dry and dehydrated skin, even if they have been formulated for dry skin. Although the GAIA SKIN+BODY Facial Moisturiser has a light consistency and it isn't specifically for dry skin, it provided my skin with a surprising amount of hydration. Sometimes I had to touch my face just to feel how soft my skin was, even an hour after I'd applied it. I was also impressed with how little of the moisturiser I needed to cover my face. Having just said how hydrating this product is, I preferred to use it as my daytime moisturiser. For the evening, I prefer a richer serum and/or cream that has some anti-ageing benefits.
If you have ultra sensitive skin that is irritated by scents, be aware that this product contains the essential oils of lavender and frankincense. For me, the scent is subtle and very soothing.
I thoroughly recommend this moisturiser. Apart from it containing hydrating natural ingredients, it is great value for money. I'm looking forward to trying GAIA's Intensive Moisturiser, which is more suitable for drier skin such as mine.

Best in Beauty Awards 2013 Vote
This is a lovely and gentle organic moisturiser which is for normal/sensitive skin. It comes in a 125ml plastic pump bottle which is great for dispensing the product hygenically. It has a pleasant lavender and natural scent which I really like. The moisturiser has a nice light feeling when applied to the skin yet it is also very hydrating. It has some fantastic ingredients such as jojoba oil. I really love that it is certified organic as I know that it doesn't have any nasties in it that may irritate my skin. I would highly recommend this product to others. This is a worthy product nominated for the Best in Beauty Awards 2013 and it has my vote!

This was a nice lotion, I like how it's all natural and organic.
The smell is nice, quite herbal and natural smelling, and it's not too strong.
It did a good job of hydrating my face, it felt moisturised all day. I'm not sure about its claim to reduce redness and fine lines though, I might have to keep using this for many more months to see results.
I love the bottle, because it's much more hygienic than a jar, and it's easy to dispense the right amount.
A little goes a long way, so this is excellent value for money.

great for sensitive skin
I have just come across the gaia range recently and i'm loving them, because their all natural, smell amazing and really gentle while they still get the job done. I have really sensitive acne prone skin, I have even tried the micheal todd organic range but even that broke me out.
This gaia range is a miracle for my skin I have been using the cleanser along with this moisturiser and I have found that my acne has really calmed down, and it moisturises really well, my skin feels great after using this, and really fresh, that might be due to the pleasant fresh scent in it.

I'm a bit of a fan of Gaia's natural products. They leave out all the nasty stuff with names you can't pronounce (think mineral oils, silicones, parabens and SLS's) and add 100% natural organic ingredients. This moisturiser contains one of my favourites - Jojoba oil.
The product smells lovely, thanks to the combination of lavender and frankincense. I find the lavendar particularly calming and soothing so I like to apply some just before bed.
The consistency is not too thick, but it certainly provides enough hydration. It's absorbed easily and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy, which I really like.
I didn't really notice any difference in the appearance of my skin, but considering it contains only natural, plant based ingredients, I'm sure it doesn't hurt it either!

The Gaia range always smells so wonderful and this was no exception. the scent is quite strong but more natural than other moisturisers i've tried. Being made with so many organic ingredients, i felt guilt free with allowing it to soak into my skin. A little goes a long way and it glide well and my skin drinks it up happily. I'd normally use this but i found that it wasn't enough moisture for my skin (perhaps it's my age).
If you want beauty on a budget with more of a guilt free, chemical conscious this is probably the moisturiser for you.

So Sad It's Gone!
My local Priceline stopped selling this product a few months back which was devastating because I really loved it and used it every single day. I've since switched to Garnier as I live rurally and it's not available cheaply online to get it delivered (boo).
It's a really light moisturiser which sinks in so quickly and effortlessly. It has a very mild fragrance and the pump bottle means that you can always get right to the last drop of product without having to swueeze. The bottle itself is also really gorgeous to have standing in the collection out on view.
I haven't found anyone (and I have had a lot of friends allergic to different things use it) who has a reaction to this moisturiser - I have even used it on my 3 year old daughters hands and she's gone around smelling them - cute and trustworthy.
