Sheer coverage tinted moisteriser

Garnier’s Miracle Skin Perfector BB cream is available in TWO SHADES: LIGHT and MEDIUM and is housed in a tan coloured and convenient SQUEEZE TUBE with a flip lid. To get an idea of what BB cream is, it stands for BLEMISH BALM and was initially used by dermatologists to help patients who have undergone laser surgery to help conceal their post-laser scars and blemishes. BB creams typically contain a range of ingredients designed to hydrate, protect and repair the skin, even skin tone and may contain brightening and whitening properties as well as sunscreen. It’s VERSATILE SKINCARE and MAKEUP product that can be worn alone, be used as a primer or foundation itself.

Garnier’s version of a BB cream is more like a TINTED MOISTERISER and offers the following BENEFITS:
- sheer coverage
- even skin tone
- give the complexion a healthy radiant glow
- moisterise and hydrate the skin
- conceal minor blemishes
- provide sunscreen protection
I have this in the light shade and would describe it as a CREAMY moisteriser that’s EASILY BLENDABLE. It suits my skin tone quite well (perhaps just a tad yellow/tan) but close enough. It feels MOISTERSING without feeling sticky and instantly gives my face a HEALTHY GLOW and NATURAL FINISH. Whilst this cream gives me a nice DEWY FINISH and feels hydrating throughout the day, it can also leave me looking a bit SHINY even though I have normal skin, therefore this might not be suitable for those with acne prone or oily skin. I would also RECOMMEND a light dusting of translucent or blotting POWDER to eliminate the shine and keeping a powder compact handy. Also, this product has quite a STRONG FLORAL FRAGRANCE which may irritate those who are sensitive with scents or have sensitive skin.
Overall, I am happy with this product, as for me, it DELIVERS WHAT IT CLAIMS to do but perhaps the name “BB cream” may be a bit misleading. In my experience and what I’ve researched online, BB creams are generally a lot thicker in consistency and offer better/full coverage, whilst Garnier’s version is more like that of a tinted moisteriser. However, for those looking for an AFFORDABLE 2-in-1 skincare and makeup product that’s quick and easy to apply and offers sheer coverage, this might be a good product to try.
