Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream

I was hesitant to try this based on mixed reviews and my first impression swatching it in priceline was that it was thick and greasy. I did pick it up a while back at Coles when they had it on sale for 1/2 price (clearing out due to a change in packaging, I think).

So I've been using this everyday for a few weeks before making a decision on how I feel about it. In short, it's pretty good. It does have a thick consistency which applies smoothly but with a slightly greasy feel that most would actually call 'dewy' in appearance. The finish is nice, I don't really have many skin problems other than the occasional blemish and dry areas. This doesn't cover up dry areas so be sure to moisturise before applying this as it might actually emphasise them instead. With combination oily skin, I'm not much of a fan of the dewy look so I apply a light buff of Maybelline Dream Matte Powder over the top.

Overall, I think the product does its job in evening my complexion, minimising the appearance of blemishes, while keeping my skin feeling healthy with its moisturising properties.

I really like it!

This is fantastic. Not much coverage but enough to even out my skin tone and lessen the dark circles under my eyes! I use the medium and it's a little too pink for my liking but not noticeably so as it blends well. It does feel a little oily but my skin is dry in winter so it doesn't affect me too badly.

Colour wasn't great

This cream went very orange on my skin. I do like the feel of the cream and it does seem to make my skin tone more even. I will have to try this again in a lighter shade.

Broke me out

I desperately wanted this to work for me. It gave me the coverage i was after for work (light, refreshed and 'awake') and i found it really easy to blend. It would have been a bit too oily for my combo skin in summer but it was perfect for the cooler weather.

Then my skin broke out in all these crazy painful pimples and i'm still trying to get rid of them!! Sadly i know it was this product because i haven't made any other changes to my makeup/skincare regime. Disappointed :(

GOOD BUT NOT GREAT

Tried this product as I wanted a product I could wear everyday to work without putting on heavy makeup. When I first put it on it looks and feels great. If you happen to touch your face then throughout the day you can feel it on your hands. I have quite dry skin and I even noticed my forehead quite oily which never happens to me. Basically it's great if you are popping out for an hour or two. It doesn't last very long on the skin and definitely a winter only product.

Not good for sensitive skin

I really wanted to like this, and It looked great when first applied to my face. After an hour I started getting a nasty rash on my face. The next day I had lots of small pimples. I really hope Garnier come out with a BB cream for sensitive skin.

Nice for light Day time look!

I actually quite like this! I was looking so something to replace my MAC studio moisture tint so I decided to try this. Definitely more affordable! I like it so far, it's enough coverage for me as it's meant to be real sheer natural coverage. I set this with Rimmel stay matte translucent powder and it looks great and natural! Shade reference MAC NC30 and I use light, perfect match!

Great for what it is

The hunt for a tinted spf moisturizer led me to this. It was on special at woollies so I gave it a go. It's not fantastic for oily skin. But I did find it minimized my pores - quite noticeably. Colour match (I picked light) was spot on, blended perfectly & gave me the light - non make up - coverage I prefer. The only downer was the oil slick by lunchtime. But, given the product doesn't promote mattifying qualities, this wasn't a surprise to me. A quick oil blot and light powder fixed the issue. Overall, a great all-in-one product at a reasonable price - just keep some blotting papers &/or powder handy.

Great for everyday wear but not for going out

I use this product as an everyday gentle cover up in conjunction with Nude by Nature's Finishing Veil. I find the end product once applied to my face can appear too shiny, as though I have really oily skin, but a quick dust of Nude by Nature's Finishing Veil holds it in place and gives me that flawless look without applying too much product to my skin and it will last the day. It haven't noticed any improved in my skin though and I've been using this product for about 6 weeks. I wouldn't use this for a special occasion or if I were going out somewhere but everyday use is great - it allows your skin to breath and keeps it moisturised.
