light but runny

This was suggested to me by a skin clinic I'd been to so tried this brand for 12 months. This does soak into my skin quite well but it's very runny.

Great SPF factor

I like this moistuirser for three main reasons;
1. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin
2. Contains SPF 30+ which is a must in summer, and unlike almost every other high SPF moisturizer I've tried, it doesn't look greasy or oily on the skin and doesn't have a strong sunscreen scent
3. Relatively cheap
It's just generally a good light moisturizer, maybe not something I'd go out of my way to buy again, but definitely worth a go.

A must-have!

I've been on the hunt for a while now for a moisturiser that has SPF 30+ that isn't greasy and won't irritate my skin and my housemate recommended this product to me and I love it! I have combination skin so unfortunately my nose gets a little shiny but other than that, this product is great.

Considering it's got SPF 30+ it's very lightweight and easily absorbed but unlike other lightweight products, your skin actually feels hydrated. There's nothing fancy about this product e.g. no fancy packaging or nice smell but if you're looking for a basic moisturiser with a high SPF rating that isn't greasy and won't irritate your skin, then I would highly recommend this moisturiser.

Light, non greasy, great for all skins including sensitive

I rarely repurchase products but have come back to this one several times. It does not irritate my sensitive skin, feels comfortable on and is SPF 30+. It is reasonably priced however I would prefer a flip top lid rather than a screw top.

Perfect!

This is the moisturiser I go to for summer. It offers SPF 30+ protection and is lightweight enough to be worn on those hot days. Unlike other high protection moisturisers, this one doesn't make your skin white. It is fragrance free and allergen free which is ideal for sensitive skin.

Awesome, makes my skin look better

I keep coming back to this moisturiser. Its non-greasy and feels lovely on the skin. It even seems to somehow miraculously make my skin look clearer and more even. I'll be repurchasing this for a while to come.

Amazing product

This QV Face Moisturising Day Cream with SPF 30+ comes in a 75g tube with pleasent colours of blue, pale blue and silver on a white background. It has a screw on lid which is great as I find that often the products with the flip top lids end up with the lids breaking and that extreemly annoying. I like the fact that this product stands on the lid so to speak so that as you are getting to the end of the product you will be able to get the last of the product easily.
My inital thoughts upon first use were that i wasnt going to like this product very much but thankfully I was wrong. I felt that the texture was a little like sunscreen and the slight scent made me think of sunscreen also. I guess i was wanting a lovely girly scent to fill my nostrils each time i applied it but then of course this product is designed for sensitive skin and if we were suddenly pumping in a product to make it smell pretty then it might not be that great for the skin. Especially sensitive skin…right? It wasnt long and i got over the longing for a pretty scent and i found that the cream applied easily and was not like applying a greasy sunscreen at all. It soaked into my skin well and was lovely for my sensitive skin which will react very quickly to let me know that a product is no good. The cream spreads well and a little goes a long way so i felt that it was very economical.
I have been using this product for a few weeks now and im very pleased.
If you have sensitive skin and want a day moisturiser that has SPF 30+ with UVA and UVB protection thats also Fragrance and colour free then I very much suggest that you give this product a try.
I will certainly purchase another tube of this wonderful cream

QV Face Day Cream

I really wanted to give this product five stars, but I have suspicions that it was responsible for a break-out. As most QV products contain cyclomethicone, I'm guessing this one does too. Although this ingredient is classed as non-comedogenic, and would probably be fine for most people, my skin reacts badly to silicones (which makes life difficult because almost every skin cream contains them these days!). Anyway, apart from the break-out which occured two weeks after I began using the product, I really couldn't fault it. It's really moisturising without being greasy and has no frangrance or white cast, and absorbs well. I'd recommend it to anyone with dry or sensitive skin as a 2-in-1 moisturiser and sunscreen.

keeps my dry acne-prone skin happy

not the most moisturising product, but this is the only sunscreen i've tried that doesnt make me break out like crazy. that's a miracle in itself! will buy this again for sure :)

Great moisturiser for summer!

My mum recommended this cream to me, and I have to say im I love! Personally I think this is a must have for summer. My skin feels very hydrated after woods.

It is also very affordable only $16.

The only downside is that I is quite greasy, I think the SPF 30 is to blame.

better than i expected!

the texture of this is a little runny, you can smell a bit of sunblock in it but it goes away really quickly and i'm not bothered by that. having really dry skin, i thought this would not be enough to keep my skin moisturised but i was wrong! this kept my skin moisturised all day long and my skin felt really smooth! will definitely repurchase!

Great for Dry Skin

I was running low on my usual face moisturizer and decided to try this one since it's QV (which I love) and has SPF30+ (which is awesome!). For the price, this is a fantastic moisturizer for sensitive skin... but only if your skin is also DRY skin. I have combination/oily skin that is also sensitive and this moisturizer more often than not leaves my skin feeling a bit greasy and can take a while to absorb. I haven't actually broken out from it and it IS non-comedogenic, but I really don't like moisturizers that leave my skin greasy for as long as this one has, so it loses a star from me!

The Best

This is the best daily sunscreen/moisturiser I have ever tried. I've used many from Neutrogena, Natio, Clean & Clear, Cancer Council and more, and none have been as good as this. It is light and non greasy so I can barely even tell I have it on. I also like that it is fragrance free and non-comodegenic.

well worth trying!

I like this product, I live in Mildura which is very hot so I ALWAYS put an SPF moisturiser on my face before I go outside the whole year through! This one is a very good price and a great product, give it a try!

A must buy for everyone!

Had tried a few other QV products and absolutely adored them so I had to give this a trial.I was not disappointed!!QV sure know there stuff!I love how light this moisturiser feels as I have oily skin,prone to break outs.Also I have freckles and need a moisturiser with sunscreen and most only have SPF 15 ,this great little product has SPF 30 and doesnt make me breakout!!A very rare thing to find indeed,especially for such a low price!!Will definately be adding this product to my daily routine from now on!!Thanks so much QV for your wonderful products!!Truly skinsaving!My skin is now breakout free and protected from further sun damage:)

Awesome Day Cream

Very rarely do I find a 30+ Suncream in a Day Moisturiser that I find not oily yet moisturising that I really like. But this one definately ticks all the boxes for me. My skin has always been on the oily side and I found even though this product is for dry/sensitive skin that it feels really nice and smooth on without feeling oily or heavy at all. It is great value, non perfumed, non comodegenic (wont block pores), natural ingredients and Australian made.

Love!!!!!

This product is ssoooooooo amazing. It is so incredubly light, I find it far lighter than my regualr neurogena oily skin sunscreen. It makes my skin really soft and i love this.

Love it

Its very good, light, non-greasy, and was safe for me to use while on roaccutane, but after it, I realised it was expensive and it started giving me break outs after roaccutane. :( Made my skin so soft, but I used a lot so quickly, so the price added up and its pretty small tube.

Great and inexpensive

I was on the hunt for an inexpensive spf30+ moisturiser and I purchased this one. Really like this product as it is light and easy to blend into the skin. I haven't had any reactions to it, would repurchase.

Keep it simple

This is my new favourite moisturiser - simple but effective. It's very light and absorbs easily. It's a big winner for me because it's SPF30+ but not greasy at all: it doesn't leave a film on your skin like other sunscreen-containing products can. It makes my skin feel so smooth and moisturised, my face doesn't feel complete without it!

Holy Grail Moisturiser for dry/sensitive Skin

I am soooo in love with this moisturiser! It is absaloutly FANTASTIC! I use this morning and night and my skin just loves it. It is light and non-comeodogenic while still managing to be extreamly moisturing and calming on dry and sensitive skin. The Moisturiser is non-greasy or oily and sinks in straight away to hydrate and smooth skin. The moisturiser is great to use under makeup and the added SPF 30+ makes it great to use all year round as a protectant from the elements. The moisturiser also works well paired with the QV Lip Balm 30+ as a way to protect both your face and your lips. This is the only moisturiser i use on my face and my dry/acne prone skin has never been better.

QV? YES PLEASE!

The QV moisturiser isn't thick and heavy but nice and light. It only gives off a subtle smell which isn't unpleasant at all. I find it didn't leave my face feeling greasy minutes of applying because it just absorbs really quickly! After using it for a couple of days I noticed my face isn't oily down the T-zone anymore. Awesome product for a great price!

love it

i started to take reaccutane pills and my doctor told me not to expose my skin to the sun without sunscreen, he told em about QV moisturizing day cream with spf 30 , and when i used it the first time i just loved it it was absorbed very quickly and i only had to use a pea size on my face and neck. i agree the smell is not appealing but i really got th best result!! its an A+ for me !

This is a cheapie but a goodie. I was sent one of these and have purchased another since. It is great for dry skin as it is extremely moisturising but not too thick or oily. Great for summer as the added spf makes this product amaaaazing

good moisturiser with sunscreen

I received this in a BH pack and have been using it over the summer. I feels light on my skin and doesn't cause any irritation on my sensitive skin. The sunscreen works well...even lasted in the pool. I do find it tends to get a little oily looking as the day wears on if you wear it without anything over it (like finishing powder or mineral makeup). I was also happy that I didn't get any breakouts either, which I am prone to.,

Love this Product

This moisturiser is great with a strong sun factor which is so important for the harsh Aussie sun ! I love the fact its a combination of sun screen and moisturiser and feels nice on the skin. And was surprised how reasonably priced it is !

An old favourite

Several years ago I devloped sensitised skin, which was the result of using products high in chemicals for years. All of a sudden I noticed my skin was getting very itchy, very dry and was having a serious reaction to the nivea face cream I was using. Then I found QV. This product helped clear my skin and I suffered no negative effects. I found it lightweight, but still very moisturising, and loved the fact it contained a high SPF. After using it for a few years I found other gentle products that I liked and began to use them instead. The other day I went to buy a day cream and came across this one again. The price is super reasonable, less than a third of the cost of the one I was going to buy, and decided I would give it another go. I haven't been disappointed and have rediscovered my love for this cream.

Good basic day cream

I used this for several years for my pale dry skin. I liked how it didn't look greasy and was moisturising. However I am now applying more sunscreen than what I used to and this product can have a white cast effect.

I like that it's unscented and is reasonably priced.

Feels nice but the Ingredients are surprising

This is a lightweight moisturizer that works a treat under makeup. I love the fact that it is a full broad spectrum 30+ SPF. What brings it down though is its ingredients. It boasts "good for sensitive skins" but with parabins, petroleum and other nasties it has the potential to really break people out.

Great for sensitive, dry skin

I had very dry and sensitive skin and started using QV Moisturising day cream to try and combat this. After about a week of using this product my skin appears less dry and the sunscreen protection is working as I have not yet been sunburnt.

Not Impressed

I really didn't like this cream. I found it to be too thick for my skin, wasn't absorbed very well and the smell wasn't very appealing at all. I have sensitive skin that can get a little oily. I found that after using this cream my skin was even oily than usual and I experienced a breakout of pimples. I would probably only recommend this product if you have really dry skin because I think otherwise it's going to be too heavy.

Beautifully light and moisturising day cream for dry/sensitive skin

I've been using this fabulous day cream in conjunction with other QV Face products and have to say that I'm stunned at how effective they are. My skin has never looked better and the horrible dry, scaly eczema patches I used to put up with around my nose and chin are slowly disappearing - hooray!! I like using this moisturiser after cleansing with QV Face Cleanser and QV Face Exfoliator (on alternate days). Only a tiny amount is needed to completely hydrate and balance my skin whilst protecting it from harmful UV rays. It doesn't have an overpowering sunscreen smell and is readily absorbed - I never have any trouble rubbing it in and it doesn't leave any greasiness even in warmer weather. I can't recommended this product enough.

I received this in my purple bh pack, and absolutely LOVE it. It doesnt have the odd smell like some spf moisturisers i have used before. It was perfectly balanced, light and absorbed really fast. It works well on its own or with a foundation cover. In regards to usage a little goes a long way.

Great value for SPF 30+

I love how this moisturiser is SPF30+. A little of this cream goes a long way (which is always good), so I've found it to be great value. My skin always feels nice & soothed & soft after applying this and it's also a great base for make up.

Leaves my skin so soft...

I really like this moisturiser. It leaves my skin feeling soft and healthy, and I feel reassured knowing it has SPF30 in it. I find it smells a bit like sunscreen, but it's not overpowering so it doesn't really bother me.

Great for sensitive skin

This moisturiser is great. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin, it's lightweight formula didn't feel heavy on my face but it still provided great moisturising. It has SPF30, which means I didn't have to wear a seperate sunblock. If I have any criticism at all it is that it is very white and it takes a bit of work to rub it all in.

Q.V face moisturising day cream is great for my sensitive skin. It has no scent to irritate and the added sunscreen helps keep my skin in top condition even through winter. I find it is not greasy and absorbes easily and quickly.

Great price; Great moisturiser :)

I got this in my Purple pack, and I love it!! My face feels firmer and smoother after using this moisturiser in the morning. I use an oil control lotion, redness corrector and foundation over the moisturiser, and I find it all comes together quite nicely! The SPF30 is also a great bonus. Knowing my skin is protected and nourished without any harmful chemicals or other ingredients also makes it a great buy! I had doubts about this range, but it really is a great product! The packaging could be a bit prettier though, just to catch all possible customers in the stores.

Excellent sunscreen and no problem to wear under f

I just love this product and find that my foundation goes on fine over the top. Great protection without greasiness later in the day. My skin is seriously sensitive and this product is excellent for reducing redness.

SPF, Hydration? All in Qv Day Cream!

This cream is a great every day moisturiser with 30+ SPF protection (for me, a vital part of a daily moisturiser). This is great for bringing back moisture and hydrating your skin, i hardly ever get flaky or dry skin when using it. It is a tad sticky, but i find this is worse on your hands than your face, so if i wash my hands after, im not too worried about the stickiness on my face, which absorbes quickly anyway :) It doesnt have any fancy fragrances or 'bad' ingredients, so i think it would be great for sensitive skin. Lately i have been getting a few more pimples than usual, but i'm not sure whether its from the introduction of this.. or just that time of month ;) But overall a great, basic product which should be a staple in your skincare routine!

I love this stuff.
I have only been using it for a week and i can already see the differnce.
I have very dry skin and i found that this got rid of the redness and cured the dry patches on my eye lids and cheeks.

But i would love it even more with out the sunscreen.

fantastic

this is one of my favourite beauty products i own. it has done wonders for my skin (along with the rest of the range from QV). leaves skin looking healthy and glowing but not greasy. great with the SPF 30 as that can be hard to find in a moisturiser. give it a go!

Good moisturiser

I started using the QV range with the gentle scrub and from there I went to the under eye cream and the night moisturiser . I do like this product it did a great job but I dont like moisturisers with sunscreen.. I dont like the smell or the paste like feeling on my skin .. if you want a sunscreen then go for it ..

Really great value.

This is a great cream for people who are looking for a basic moisturiser. It doesnt have any fancy anti-ageing ingredients etc, its just a basic, fragrance free cream. I always find myself coming back to this or the cetaphil cream/lotion, when I'm either on a budget or just want a basic cream. I have combo skin which easily dries out and this works really well in helping bring the moisture level back up and maintaining it. I don't think its rich enough for people with extra dry skin though.

Love love love it!

I was searching for a moisturiser which also has SPF protection. The pharmacy recommended me this over the Neutrogena one. However, being young, I was persuaded to purchase the better known brand i.e. Neutrogena, especially because it was recommended by celebrities.

Anyway, I didn't like the Neutrogena one and thus favoured this product. It's very light and definitely not aggravating to pimples or even cause acne. My skin is moisturised and it's got great SPF.

The only down point is perhaps if you have severely dry skin, this won't do too much for you. Other than that, it's affordable and handy!

Great for all the family.

This product is great for all the family, it is an ideal summer moisturiser, lightweight, non-greasy. I find that it is a great base for my foundation. Great value for money, will definatley buy again.

Best product!

I love this product! I was looking for a moisturising cream which contains SPF protection. Initialy, I wanted to get the Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturising face cream. But it only provided SPF 15+ protection. Then I was recommended this product by the salesperson and though I should give it a try as it contained better SPF protection. And it did live up to the standard the salesperson advised me. It does not leave u looking like a geisha with white faces as other sunscreen does but actually smooths away gently into ur skin. It does not irritate skin nor cause pimples. I love it! i have been recommending it to my friends and they loved it!

This moisturiser's great for dry skin. Non irritable, non greasy and leaves your face feeling smooth and moisturised. Great for summer with the spf30+ and ideal to use under foundation. It's perfect!

the best moisturiser & sun protection

this is the best moisturiser with spf30+ i have used by far. this is absolutely genuis. rubs really well and quickly absorbed onto the skin. a lightweight feel with no smell. goes onto the skin nice and smooth and no signs of the moisturiser at all. that is what i expect from a spf30+ moisturiser. most high protection moisturisers are very thick and hard to absorb

Absorbs well into the skin, good make-up base, ideal for summer, good for sensitive skin, has SPF 30+ (very very important), what else can I ask for. Might be not heavy enough for winter, but you can always apply a nourishing serum under the moisturiser. Totally recommend it to everyone

Better than Cetaphil's moisturiser

Cetaphil's moisturising cream for dry, sensitive skin gave my skin a reaction. I have used this product since and I prefer it for more than for this reason. It has no negative effects on my acne and the added sun protection makes it a good choice. I also find it to be fast absorbing. It's a pretty good base for my foundation, too.

protection made easy

i love this product, it makes it easier for me to protect my skin on a daily basis. it has a tendancy to make my skin shine, but that can easily be rectified by blotting away any excess. nicely moisturing and more importantly has not broken me out.

Stings

I found that this product stung my skin on immediate application. It iritatied my skin and hurt my skin. It left me really red and my skin was sore afterwards. I was dissapointed as I expected more from Qv. Plus it left me really shinny and the cream felt greasy!

Great daily face cream

This ticks most of the boxes ... high SPF, non-greasy, easy to apply, reasonably priced and perfect for my sensitive skin. The only downside is I think it could moisturise my skin a bit more. When applied, I feel as if my skin needs a little more hydration than supplied by this cream. Having said that, I still continue to use it daily!

QV Day Cream

I love this day cream, i have dry skin and it moisturisers so well, making my skin very smooth. I especially like the fact its got SPF 30+ as well, very handy.

cant get enough

i use this everyday during summer and winter because i love it so much. its quite light for a cream and sinks in nicely with out being greasy. and its one of the few spf's that doesn't flake off my skin half way through the day.
Its gentle enough to use around my eyes to prevent ageing where you see it first.
they need to make this in larger tubes just for me!

Active Ingredients were not product on the box???

Does anyone realized the main ingredients 'Paraffin, Petroleum Jelly, Glycerine and Safflower oil' of this product which was mentioned on QV website were not printed on the product itself or the box. I just bought a tube today after reading all your reviews but was curious when I saw these main active ingredients were not there! Just wondering if anyone of you have a look at ur product???

for me it' great

It' a really excellent moisturezer, if you have normal to dry skin this will be the solution for windy winter times, but during the summer maybe it can be too greasy.

Good for normal to dry skins

This is a really great product combining moisture and sun protection. My skin was flaky and dry in winter and this fixed it straight away and I didn't have to think about using extra sunblock. But I find it a bit greasy in warm weather. Hopefully they bring out a version for normal to combination skins.

Very good cream, It is light on my skin, absorbs well, does not feel oily, love that it has SPF 30 +, price is excellent, will be buying it again after it runs out.

QV face

This is a great product if you just want a moisturiser with a sunscreen at a reasonable price. I have previously used other similar products which also contain "age fighting ingredients", and find these to be better though.

Almost perfect

Good coverage, light BUT...left my face looking and feeling quite oily until it really really sunk in and after I put my makeup on it was fine :S. A great 30+ moisturiser for face though!

Qv face moisturising day cream

I use the entire qv face range and my skin just loves it.this moisturiser is an essential part of my morning cleansing routine.it sinks into my skin,doesnt make me shiny or oily,makes me feel and look soft and healthy and i love that im also protecting my skin from the sun,there is nothing bad to say about this amazing moisturiser

Stung my face?

Thought this product would be great as I love the cleanser however I found when my face sweated in summer this cream made my skin sting which has happened with other products before but I expected better of QV?

A great moisturiser, best I've tried yet!

I really am happy with this purchase - a lovely light weight moisturiser with the added bonus of 30+ sunscreen - I use this under my makeup for the day. I goes on smoothly without any greasiness or heaviness and soothes my dry skin. I sincerely recommend this to anyone in need of a decent priced everyday moisturiser!

QV Daily Face Moisturiser 30+

I give this product my seal of approval - it is beautiful! I have dry skin and this 30+ sunscreen slash moisturiser is excellent to use as a primer under my foundation or even under my tinted moisturiser. It is light weight and non greasy with the added bonus of being a sunscreen - I'm impressed.

QV Face Moisturising Day Cream

I was using this and also on my 5-yo son who gets eczema on his face. It was great and was keeping the eczema at bay until a recent holiday to a hot south asian country - mixed with sweat it stung our faces - I am not usually sensitive to products on my face

QV Face Moisturising Day Cream

This is a really good value beauty buy - low cost purchase of mine. It moisturises excellently and is actually recommended by the Australian Cancer Council because it has a SPF of 30+ which actually stays put all day and truly protects my face from ageing rays all day.
