Fab Friday finds

It’s around about this time of the day on a Friday that the best of us turn to our vice. Be it chocolate, coffee, online shopping or, in my case, a giant bag of Twisties, there’s just something about the last few hours of a long week that makes us powerless in the face of temptation.
This week however, I’m following in the heel-clad footsteps of a few other girls at beautyheaven HQ (who are on all manner of detoxes) and trying to be, as they say, ‘good’.
Unfortunately, in doing so I’m left with a very strong nagging sensation that I’m suffering from sensory deprivation (because of course devouring an entire bag of Twisties in under a minute classifies as the highest form of sensory pleasure).
And so I took to the wonderland that is our beauty cupboard and came up with these fab Friday finds to appease my restless mind, body and spirit:
Klorane Mango Butter Conditioning Balm: Not only does it smell good enough to eat, but it also eradicates split-ends producing healthy, glossy strands.
Inika Mineral Cosmetics Lip Whips: Anything that sounds like it resembles a soft-serve ice cream gets my vote! Luckily, this cute gloss is also rich in colour and ultra-hydrating.
GOANNA Heat Cream: Say ‘sayonara’ to sore muscles with this fast-acting relief cream. Now all you’ll need to do is find someone in the office willing to give you a massage…
AHAVA Energizing Body Mud Mask – Mandarin and Cedarwood: Detoxify your skin and revitalise with this citrusy-scented mask. Perfect for a post-tiring-week pick-me-up.
Rexona Girl Tropical Energy Aerosol: One spritz of this anti-perspirant and you’ll think you’ve been transported to the Bahamas. A girl can only dream!

Oh Lord, that picture is so naughty to look at when on a diet....
I think using products that smell yummy will tip me off the edge to actually go and buy a family block and demolish it!
I like nothing more than latte and choco croissant on a Sunday morning while sitting o0n the veranda listening to the birds chirp, saving my indulgences for Sunday is what makes the week bearable!

I'll look out for the Klorane product, sounds devine. BTW that is the meanest picture to find on a cold, wet, miserable day in Melbourne. Now my brain is insisting that I go stock up on comfort food! Well done BH, best attention-grabbing picture this week!!!

That Mandarin & Cedarwood body mask sounds absolutely an experience to be had.
I've just had a bit of a Friday fix! I bought OPI "Mad as a Hatter" & "Grape Fit!" nail polishes! So I'm typing this with my newly painted Friday nails all super glittery and sparkly.

Chocolate is my weakness. I remember some 10 years ago St. Ives used to have a chocolate body scrub. I bought it just for the smell. Now, I get my fix from their Oatmeal and Shea body wash. It smell just as lovely!

Have a protein bar! I have 'protein bar o'clock'...... you can find really yummy ones that are low carn and low fat but taste just like choccie bars without the guilt
Protein bars are soooooo underestimates

My friday vices are lazy nap while trying study, waking up to gallons of coffee and checking out BH, the last one not such a vice after all!

The AHAVA body mudmask sounds beautiful! It doesn't have to be Friday for me to need a vice to get through, lol. Chocolate's handy, a piece of fruit, or treat with some bodywash, lip gloss whatever i can find to help pep things up!

The Rexona Tropical Energy smells great! i love it. My vice would probably be an overly long shower (yes, I know, water restrictions, I shouldnt But sometimes its jjust nice :P) With one of my assorted body washes. I swear I have so many I could use a different one every day for a month!

wow that picture certainly caught my eye! I love a bit of chocolate after lunch but I don't usually wait until Friday to do that! My favourite vice is to have a yummy panino from the cafe across from work. I usually bring my lunch - also in an effort to be "good", but every couple of weeks I'll treat myself to one of these delectable, decadent lunches!
